Today, Jessica felt so much exhausted, and fragile. Her whole body trembled, there was no energy left at all. Today was the day Yuri flew back to Japan. And never be back ever again.

At first she did not want to know exactly when Yuri would be returned to Japan, still, at last, she could not hold back her curiosity. She could not help but to ask Taeng about it. Taeng then told her and wondered what she would do after he left.

Frankly, she had no idea. She didn’t know what to do. She had nothing to do. She just wanted to know. Wanted to make sure.

Jessica didn’t go to work today, telling Krystal she was sick as an excuse. She was indeed sick. Truly sick. So sick so that she couldn’t do anything, just sat still in her bed and slowly drifted to her own little world.

Should she call Yuri?

Should she him to the airport?

Could she bid a proper goodbye to him for the last time?

No. It was better if she didn’t do any of them. It would only destroy her. Let Taeng who escorted him to the airport. Let Taeng who the one bidding a proper goodbye for him. Because Jessica knew she would not be able to do that to him, for the last time, without shed a sad tear.

Taeng also had promised to call her when Yuri’s plane was gone already.

All of a sudden, her phone rang in a blustery manner. She grabbed it in a blink of an eye, putting it right on her left ear.

“Allo?”

“Jess?”

“Krystal?” Jessica mumbled, shoulders limping automatically.

“I am calling to tell you that you have to listen to my program later.”

“What? Why?”

“This is so damn important.” Krystal sounded so serious.

“Just tell me, Krys!” Jessica demanded, almost yelling.

A sigh. “Monsieur Kwon Riyu writes an e-mail again.”

Jessica held her breath.

Another sigh. “And this is his final letter.”
