Lie To Me
Forbidden FeelingsPrologue;
She chewed on her fingernails nervously as she stared at her boyfriend who was eating quietly in front of her.
Ki Bum was the type who always has many things to say and at times like this when there are no words coming out from his mouth, it made her worried.
She concentrated on playing around with her food as silence continued to engulf them.
“Yah Nicole. If you don’t want to eat, don’t play with your food,” he spoke up suddenly.
She looked up startled at his sudden voice.
“Nay. Ke-eey,” she called out in a sing-song voice. “Where shall we go after this?”
“Where else? Home,” he answered simply as he looked back down on his food.
She sighed in frustration. If she doesn’t ask him about it sooner, this could go on forever.
“Ki Bum, is there anything wrong?”
“Anyo,” he shrugged. “Wae?”
“You’re not being your usual self,” she said accusingly.
“I’m trying to restrain myself from talking and finding out things I shouldn’t.”
His answer caught her totally off guard as she held her food halfway in the mid-air. She swallowed hard as she put it back down on the plate.
He was hinting something at her and she thinks she knows what is upsetting him.
But she wasn’t sure if she wanted to conclude things with him, if she was ready to have this conversation with him.
Because she wasn’t sure of her own feelings right now and she knew the problem lies with herself and not Ki Bum.
It also involves a certain someone by the name of Son Dong Woon.
The irresistible handsome guy who has occupy her thoughts day and night. The one she couldn’t help wishing was sitting in front of her right now.
