"Oh hot, hot, hot “Victoria couldn’t help but laugh and get amuse at the same time. Nickhun was trying his best to cook for her, she has no idea what got into him and ask her what she wants to eat for lunch, seeing him put all the efforts although he is quite awkward holding a knife made her admire him more.

“Are you sure you really know how to cook?” she asks

Nickhun look at her. “You just wait and see” he said confidently.  He just looks at her while waiting for the water to boil to that he could continue cooking. Victoria notice his gaze

“Why are you looking at me like that?” she said.

“Nothing, I just want to look at you, I don’t know why but you keep on getting beautiful, too beautiful that my eyes were always glued to you”

She blushed at his statement. What happen to him? After the day they meet her friends, Nickhun suddenly change into someone ideal type. He made her the happiest and most fulfilled woman on earth with those past few days they were together, but she is still afraid to give that sweetness a meaning, she knows where she must stand in his life. Nickhun notice that she was thinking.

“What are you thinking?”

She smiled. “Can you please join me for lunch before you go to the airport?”

He took a deep sighed. Today he needs to go to New York for a business meeting, that’s why he is trying his best to make her happy, he know that he will miss her so much, he is not use on sleeping without her, the conference will last for two days but for him two days feel like two years, he try to smiled, although it would be hard to leave her, he knows that she will be happy with the unexpected present he has for her. “Of course I’ll join you” he said while loving pinching her nose.

Nickhun continue to cook, while Victoria was watching her with amazement. They were startled when they heard Mrs. Kim calling their name.

“Khun, Victoria you guys have visitors” Mrs. Kim shouted.

“Who could it be?” Victoria asks. Nickhun just smiled at her and took her hands and made their way to the living room. She was shocked when she saw a four familiar figure in front of him. Nickhun was the one who went to their side and give each one of them a welcome hug.

“You guys are here”

“You should pay us, were not doing this for free” Krystal joke.

Nickhun laughed. “Don’t worry I will pay you guys after these”

Victoria doesn’t have any clue on what was happening, the last time they were together, Nickhun and Krystal never dare to exchange words with each other but today they look like they were so close “ what’s going in here, and what are you guys doing here?”

Krystal went to her side and hugs her “well, this man calls us last night, and asks a favor if we could babysit you for a day”

“Babysit?”

“yes, there here to babysit you, I’ll be out of the country for two days, so its better if someone can look for you while I’m away” Nickhun said while looking at her.

“I don’t need one, I can take care of myself” she stated

“No more objection, come on let’s eat lunch first”

“You look good on that apron Nickhun” Amber tease

Nickhun smiled at her “well thank you”

The lunch went well, but not for Victoria something is wrong here she thought, how they can easily loosen up with Nickhun, what happen and what Nickhun did to them behind her back. She is not focusing on eating, her mind is wondering until she didn’t notice that the lunch time is over now  it’s time for Nickhun to leave although he doesn’t want but he needs, with a heavy heart he bid his goodbye to Victoria.

“I’m going now; you take care here okay, don’t tired yourself too much and be careful with the stairs okay?”

She nodded “you too, take care and don’t stay up too late” she said and hugged him.

Nickhun hug her back savoring the feeling of her in his embrace. “Call me when you feel something okay? He looks so worried leaving her alone that made Victoria lips curved a smile. She was about to answer when Krystal carefully pulled her from Nickhun’s embrace. Both of them were confused why she did that.

“ enough with those loving scenes I’m getting Goosebumps here, and for your information we can look after your Victoria, so would you mind if you just leave so that we can have time alone with her” Krystal stated acting annoy with both of them.

Nickhun just laughed at her statement and simply ignore her. He went to Victoria and lands a kiss on her forehead. “Take care okay”

All of them couldn’t handle the loving gazes these two were exchanging; they suddenly drag Nickhun outside and force him to leave.

“Hey, hey wait I’m not yet done” Nickhun complain when they successful pulled him enough.

“I said that was enough, go go go” Luna said.

He just did what they ask him to do, when Victoria motion him to go, he will be late if he stay for more minute. He unwillingly enters his car and made her way. After she was sure that Nickhun was out of her sight, she quickly dragged her friend’s upstairs and looks the door for their own privacy.

“Tell me what exactly happen?” she asks while glaring at them.

All of them look innocently at her, acting like they don’t get what she is talking about “what are you saying?” Sulli said, while Amber and the rest settle themselves comfortably on the big bed.

“aish, what did Nickhun told you that you agree on doing this?”

“Ah, he will pay us that’s why we agree” Krystal said bluntly

“I don’t believe you guys, there is something that you’re not telling me” she fired back

“Were telling you the truth, he will pay us after this”

She didn’t believe them, for sure there is something happen “I don’t believe you, come on guys tell me”

Krystal stand up “it’s up to you, if you will believe us or not” she then found a DVD movies which is interesting “oh guys let’s just watch movie first, so that we could have something to do.” All of them agree. Victoria who was annoyed just follow them, she needs to find out what exactly happen no matter how hard it is.

Nickhun couldn’t help but smiled knowing that Victoria will have a good time spending their time together. He knows that he acted a jerk last week when they meet her friends because of the jealousy he feels that moment, to be honest he had a hard time, getting their sympathy and letting them know that his intention to Victoria were true and coming from his heart, it was like answering an exam, wrong answer and he will failed in getting a highest score, compare to getting Leetuk sympathy, getting her friend was like keeping a thin ice not to melt, he couldn’t stop thinking how hard it was for him that time.

(FLASH BACK)

Two days after Nickhun met Victoria’s friends, he decide to call them to get a chance to talk to them, maybe to clear everything between them, if there is something he did to them, he get their number from Victoria’s hand phone without her permission and plan a lunch date with them which they all agree.

During the lunch time, they all talk about each other inner feelings, he knows that it was impossible for them to believe that he is in love with their best friend but that was the truth whether they believe him or not he doesn’t care.

“What do you want from us?” Krystal said straight forward.

“What makes you think that I need something from you girls, that’s why I ask you to have a lunch with me?” he said wanting to lessen the tense.

“And what makes you think that I could buy that excuse?”

“Krystal, come down okay. Let just hear him first” Luna said, wanting to calm down Krystal

“I really don’t understand why you guys force me to join this lunch, you know that I have a lot of things to do” Krystal once again blurted out

Nickhun took a deep sigh, there is no use if he will let them get bored so it’s better if he started to tell them the main reason why he wants to talk to them. “I know that you don’t like me?” he said

“At least you know” Krystal cut him off.

“Not me” amber and Sulli said in chorus

“That’s why I want to talk with you guys, Krystal I don’t really understand why you don’t like me”

“Do I need to have a reason?” she said sarcastically

“That’s my main point, I don’t understand your reasons” he said exasperated with her attitude

“Do you really want to know why?”

“Yes”

“You’re ruining my best friends life” she said loud and clear.

“I didn’t” he said innocently

“Yes you did, listen carefully Mr. Horvejkul, I know that getting her pregnant was a mistake but controlling her life is too much”

“When did I control her life?” Nickhun said. He couldn’t believe that they misunderstood everything he does for Victoria.

Luna and the rest could feel that there conversation is hitting up and it will get worst once Krystal said something that would make Nickhun realize that he is also at fault

“yes you did, did you ever think or even consider if she wants to live with you, did it ever cross your mind if she wanted to quit teaching and did it ever cross your mind if she was happy to be with you, did you ever?” she said, seeing that he was frozen on his sit, there is no use on continuing their conversation, she took her back “ let’s go girls, there is no use on continuing this conversation”

They were about to follow Krystal when Nickhun suddenly speak “can you please here me out before you leave?”

 They all drag Krystal back on her sit, although she doesn’t want to listen, she needs to so that if ever she said something stupid, she has a reason to take her best friend away from this man.

“your right, I never dare to ask if the things I did for here were okay with her, but every time I see her smile with all those things I did for her, I can’t help but imagine that everything is okay” he was about to continue when Krystal cut him off.

“That’s how you read a person, a smile can hide everything”

“Can you just please her me out” he pleaded

She just raised both of her hand. He then continue “ your also right, getting her pregnant was out of control but I can’t do anything about it, that’s why I’m doing everything to make her realize that everything was not a mistake but seeing how you keep on talking about her ex boyfriend and how happy she was reminiscing those times they had share, I can’t help but get gloomy, how will I tell her that I’m in love with her, if all I can see is how much is in love with that bastard, how can I make her love when I get even get her friends approval, I couldn’t even get along with them” he said honestly with them.

All of them look at each other and lips started to curved a smile “ success, I told you guys he is in love with Vic, come on give me my money, come on, come on “ Amber said, lending her hand to receive the money she just won from their bet. Nickhun was looking at them sharply. What was happening right now?”

Luna looks at him and carefully explains what was happening “ we made a bet that we will make you confess that you’re in love with our best friend, and we would like to say sorry for acting harsh with you the last time we talk and today”

His mouth was wide open so everything was a plan. Even they attitude was plan “witches “he suddenly said.

They all burst into laughter. “Am I that scary? Krystal said

“Hell yes you are” Nickhun admitted.

They just all burst into laughter after thinking that they really actual do those stuff and Nickhun also couldn’t help but laugh, not because he was amuse but because he just admit to her friends his true feelings.

Then all of a sudden Krystal speak “I think you better tell her what you really feel”

“I don’t know if she feels the same way or what” he said for it was the truth.

“You will only know that if you give it a try and as I can see it you guys feel the same for each other” Luna said

He just smiled and them. Hoping that he can have the courage to tell Victoria what he really feels for her.

(END OF FLASHBACK)

Until now he couldn’t help but laughed. He thought that he will have a hard time convincing her friends to believe them; actually they help him admit what he really feels for Victoria. He is not just in love with her but madly in love with her. He will admit it soon so that he can marry her and start a new life with her and with his precious son.

Victoria is exhausted after hanging out with her friends, a while ago she forget that she was a pregnant woman, a soon to be mother, she also forget that Nickhun was not with her and will not be able to join her for dinner.

She just got out from the bathroom after taking a warm shower to relax her muscle which gone tired for playing too much with her friends. She lay on the bed, trying to get herself fall from a sleep, when suddenly a cold wind from the window blow inside their room which made her move closer to Nickhun side, then a reality strike her, Nickhun won’t be able to sleep with her. With that though she got up and close the window, usually when a times like that happen, she just curl up into Nickhun’s embrace and all of the sudden the chilliness she feel will gone because of the warm that his strong arms gave to her. She then took her hand phone and dialed his number, wanting o check if he was okay.

It didn’t take a while before Nickhun answer it. “Hello?” said the other line.

“Hi, I just call to check if you’re okay”

Nickhun couldn’t help but smiled. He has also plan on calling her but Victoria call him first, “I’m okay, how about you?, did you have fun hanging out with them?”

“Yes, I’m a bit tired but I’m okay”

Nickhun got worried after hearing that she was tired. “Then you should sleep now, don’t stay up too late”

She just nodded although Nickhun couldn’t see it “but I don’t think I can sleep”

“Why?”

“I cold wind just blow inside our room awhile go, and I find myself curling on your side but then I realize you’re not here, I guess I’m use of sleeping in your embrace” she shyly reply

Nickhun could feel his heartbeat fast after hearing what she said “should I flight back to Korea?I just finish the conference, I can go back if you want”

“no, I think I can’t manage, just take a rest and I’ll see next day” and with that she hang up, if she talk to him more , she might end up begging to him to flight back, she force herself to fall into a deep sleep, while thinking that Nickhun was next to her and those loving arms of him are hugging her.

It was three in the morning when Victoria suddenly felt that someone was pulling her closer to that person, she quickly open her eyes and was surprise to see Nickhun. She thought it was just a dream, but then she saw him smile, and made her realize that it was not a dream.

“What are you doing here?” she ask in surprise

Nickhun just smiled at her “I guess like you I can’t sleep without you”

She let herself settle comfortable in Nickhun’s embrace “how did you get here?”

“I ask a friend of mine, if he could lend me a copper that can send me back to home, and he agree to do so” Nickhun explain but the truth is he ask his secretary if he could get him a plane ticket back to korea, afraid that like Victoria he won’t be able to sleep.

She snuggled more closely to him, enjoying the warm of his body. “ Nickhun?”

“Yes?”

“Why do you always feel so warm?”

“What do you mean?” he said, confuse with what she was talking about

“Every time you hug me, I could always feel the warm of your embrace, I could also feel that I’m always safe, I think I will miss them soon” she said with sincerity

“Why would you miss them, you can always have my arms around you”

“Really?”

“Yes, because beside you is where I belong that’s why I will always make sure my arms are only for you”

She didn’t answer; she just let herself fall asleep, afraid that this is a dream. Nickhun plant a kiss on her forehead before he let himself fall asleep, praying that he could have the courage to confess to her soon.
