I rock myself to and fro as I cry silently...I can't blame him. This is my fault.

The next thing I know, it was already nightfall and someone is knocking on the door. 

 

 

Could that be Jiyong?

 

 

I weakly straightened myself and went to open the door but as my fingers touch the knob, I heard a female voice "Miss Dara, dinner is ready."

 

 

"I- I'll be right down."

 

 

 

I went to the bathroom to clean up and change my clothes. I didn't bother to put bandages on my cuts because I can't find one and don't want to bother the help to get some for me. Once I'm satisfied that my wounds are hidden, I went down to the dinning room expecting Jiyong to already be there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I felt a wave of disappointment hit my body when I found no one in the room. A middle aged maid entered carrying a tray "Excuse me....Um...have you seen Jiyong?"

 

 

 

"The young master already left for Seoul this afternoon. He was acting very unusual and didn't even remember to brought his bags with him." 

 

 

"Oh.."

 

Jiyong already left?..... He left me?.... In this island?.... Alone?...I don't see any point in staying here any further. I just want to see him right now and explain myself.

 

 

"Is there something wrong Miss?"

 

 

"N-nothing. Can you make arrangements for someone to drop me off the airport?"

 

 

The maid looked momentarily taken aback "But I thought you'll be staying here until tomorrow morning?...And we prepared you dinner."

 

 

"I'm really sorry..but I just really need to go back to Seoul" I look at her pleadingly and after a while I heard her sigh "Arasso Miss, I will call the driver. You take care. Everything will be okay honey." She pat my cheeks and give me a motherly smile. Despite my situation, I couldn't help but smile back.

 

 

I brought Jiyong's things with me and thank the staff for their kind hospitality.

I arrived at Seoul past midnight and used my cellphone to track Jiyong. I'm really tired and a bit dizzy but I really need to talk to him or at least check if he's safe. 

 

 

 

Huh?

 

 

 

He's in a club? At this time? It's almost 3 am. 

 

 

I quickly hail a cab and went to the club, worried. I couldn't help but fidget a little. Is he okay? Is he drunk? Aigoo! I have so my questions. My headache is worsening.

 

 

Even though I'm on edge, I'm confident I won't see him with a girl. I know he would NEVER do that to me. Yes, I'm that confident. He must be so drunk, he can't go home. 

 

 

When I entered the bar, I remembered that I won't be able to help him that much because of my night blindness. Aishhh!! How stupid Dara. How can I find him?! Should I call Bommie? But then..... she's probably sleeping right now. What do I do?

 

 

I stood there, lost. Not knowing what to do. 

 

 

 

Suddenly, one of the strobe lights flicker at the bar for a second and I was able to see Jiyong. He's sitting on a high stool drinking. ALONE. I sigh in relief. I'm right! He won't cheat on me. He's just mad.

 

 

I made my way to him silently cursing myself for bringing my heavy luggage. He was about to drink but stop abruptly when he saw me. His hands frozen in midair. I walked closer to him nervously "Ji,"

 

 

"What are you doing here?" His tone is cold but I ignored it, he's probably just drunk.

 

 

"Ji, I think we should go home."

 

 

 

"Leave."

 

 

 

I put my hand on his shoulder and I felt him stiffen.

 

 

His eyes narrowed and he grabbed my hand squeezing it painfully before pushing it away.

 

 

 

"Go home Dara. I don't want to see you right now."

 

 

"But-"

 

 

"I said leave!" He glared at me and I can't but glare back at him. I know it's my fault but I think he's blowing this way out of proportion. Yes, I lied but shouldn't he be grateful that I fell in love with him first? I didn't expect he would react like this. I honestly thought he'll be pleased.

 

 

 

Out of nowhere, a pair of hands s though MY BOYFRIEND's body interrupting our glowering contest. 

 

"Baby, is this girl bothering you?"

 

 

"No, babe. I don't know her." Jiyong answered nonchalantly. He turned his back to me and kissed the girl on the lips. LIPS!!

 

 

My eyes widened and I was rooted on the spot due to shock. I couldn't move. Couldn't do anything to avert my eyes from what's happening. I was brought back to the hear and now when I heard the girl moan.

 

 

 

 

I swallowed the forming lump in my throat and look at the ceiling to avoid my tears from falling. I can feel my lips trembling and I know I won't be able to talk without stuttering. 

 

 

 

I saw Jiyong stood up with the girl still coiled around him like a snake and walked to the exit. I will myself to move and go after them but the lighting made it hard plus my pounding head.

 

 

Outside, I saw the girl entering Jiyong's car and Ji walking to the driver's side. I ran as fast as I can to catch up with them and left my luggage on the ground.

 

 

"Ji, please don't do this. Don't go."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Let's break up Dara. I don't associate myself with liars." He looked at me mockingly and slammed the car door with a loud bang.

 

 

 

 

I was stunned to silence and was only able to watch his car speed away.
