‘Ella, meet after class @ Fahrenheit’s table. –H and S’

After I read the message, I felt so sad. That means I’ll see Wu Chun! That stupid food stealer! I loathe him!

Chun’s POV

‘Eating with S.H.E. today at lunch – our table. –Jiro’

I secretly felt happy because first: Jiro and Selina and Hebe and Aaron could like each other and ‘date’ at our table and second: I might like Ella. I mean, sometimes, she’s annoying, but there’s a gut feeling. I looked to my side and studied Ella.

I tingling sensation ran through my stomach as I saw Ella talking to the new guy. Well, she was ‘attempting’ to talk to him.

I listened to their conversation.

Ella’s POV

“I’m Ella. What’s your name?”

“Jerry. Jerry Yan.”

“Oh, ok,” I said cheerfully. “Need a tour around the school?”

“NO. Stop bothering me!” Jerry burst out.

My smile turned frozen. I was crushed. I thought that Jerry wanted a friend or someone to talk to since he was new….

“Oh… sorry, Jerry.”

It was the end of class after ten minutes so I packed my things and left the room in a hurry.

Fahrenheit and S.H.E.’s POV

“Ok, since everyone is here, the meeting has started!” Calvin announced.

‘It’s great to be boss!’

‘So annoying…. That annoying man.’ S.H.E. thought.

“Ok, what are we here to discuss?” Jiro asked. “I thought this was time for us to talk to each other…. You know, in pairs or something.”

Calvin smiled and said, “Later, Jiro. After we discuss… JERRY.”

“I don’t like him,” Chun complained.

“Yeah, because you like Ella and don’t want him sitting with her, right? No interactions, either?” Selina teased.

“Selina!” Ella scolded. “I don’t like Chun, so stop.”

Selina pouted as Jiro comforted her.

“Ok, ok,” Aaron said. “Let’s raise our hands if we like Jerry, okay?”

Everyone nodded once.

“Who likes him?” Hebe asked.

Everyone except Chun and Ella raised their hands.

“Why?” Calvin asked. “Nothing’s wrong with him.”

Ella said, “Jerry’s rude. I was being friendly and asked if he needed help, but he ignored me and got annoyed.”

Ella pouted as Hebe and Selina patted Ella’s back. Chun nodded and said that he heard them talking as proof.

“Vote again. Who likes Jerry?” Hebe asked.

This time, no one raised their hands.

“It’s too early. We don’t know much about him,” Aaron said.

Everyone nodded and got into small groups to talk about their day. S.H.E. got together and Fahrenheit ate their lunch. Occasionally, one of Fahrenheit would stare at S.H.E. as they giggled or blushed.
