MYUNGSOO's Pov:

When did that two got so close?

I didn't like it one bit. They were too close, way too close for my liking. Didn't she have a sense of personal space? And why was I pissed again?

No, I'm not jealous. I knew Yohan won't go for her.

Or, would he?

Wait, he doesn't like her, does he?

My thought was stopped short when the two came out side by side irking me more than they ever did. I look away quickly not wanting to seem jealous.

I wasn't.

I reminded myself. I walked into the car first and sat at the back. I watch from the corner of my eye as Yohan held the door for her to come in first.

Pstt. Gentleman, are we?

Yohan went to sit on the passenger seat and I nodded satisfied and look at her once before looking out at the city lights.

A few hours back in the club, I was looking for her inside the hall when my phone beeped, it was Yohan telling me that she was with him. I sighed in relief just when the screen flashed again with another 'beep'. When I looked down, I quickly realised the unknown number.

"You won't find anything there", it said. It wasn't clear to what he was indicating, but I instantly caught up that whoever the person is, he knew I'm not in Korea.

It have been bugging me quite a while lately. I wasn't really scared before but three days back a message warned me something about revealing everything. I didn't know exactly what he was pertaining to but I was scared...for some reason. I didn't have anything to hide...so what was it?

Was it about her? I didn't know but that was the last thing I would want it to be. That's why I brought her here with me. I needed her to be close to keep an eye around her but then again, that makes me terrified thinking if the enemy already know about her as he kept tracks on my move.

The ride was quiet and my mind couldn't stop thinking about the person behind the message. Who was it?

I felt someone tug at me from the side. I turned to see Seoyeon looking right at me, eyes worried?

"We have reached", she said. I nodded quickly realising how deep I have been into my own thought for the whole ride.

"Let's go have dinner first before we go up", Yohan suggested. We agreed and went down to the diner down the hall of the hotel.

I quickly sat on the chair but then I noticed him pulling out the chair for her. I frowned at the action.

Why's he acting all so gentle??

"Yohan?", I called him out.

"Yes?"

I cleared my throat and tried to ignore his eyes on me.

"I would prefer it if you distance yourself from her", I said calmly. I didn't know why I said but I did.

I heard him laughing suddenly so I frowned and look up.

"Just tell me you're jealous, bro!", he said laughing as if what I said was hilarious.

"It's not like that. It wouldn't be good if you get too attached to her later on"

That rolled off my tongue smoothly. I internally thanked myself when I realised the waiter had arrived with glasses of water.

Yohan ordered for us as I watched her looking at something on her phone. She was frowning and then, suddenly she stood up. 

"Excuse me. I'll be back", she said and left. As I watch her retreating figure, Yohan spoke up.

"What happened?"

"You mean?"

"In the party"

"Oh...I couldn't meet your dad. He called me up and told me he already left since there were lots of cameras around but he could meet us up tomorrow"

He sighed and looked down.

"He's always been a busy man", he chuckled lifelessly.

"Hey, it's okay. I doubt it's one of The Hawks so it'll be hard for him to help anyway"

"You sure?"

"No, I'm not but I hope"

"Actually, I don't think it's them either. They are far too on and on with The Clouts right now."

I nodded. That was what I have been thinking, there wasn't a reason for them to suddenly pay a heed on us and they were the only group who had people in this place. The sender was trying to confuse us.

"So, that means we're safe here?", I asked.

"I'll confirm it tomorrow"

"How? By contacting The Hawks?", I asked sarcastically.

"Well that's the only option", he shrugged. I bit my lips when he said that.

"You know they're dangerous."

"You know my brother is in there"

"Step brother, you mean?"

"Don't even remind me"

I was going to say further when I noticed Seoyeon from the corner of my eyes coming back to our table.

Same time, the waiter brought our foods so we started digging in. After we finish, we walked in the elevator and went up to our floor. The mood was kind of quiet and awkward. Yohan wasn't one to be in an awkward atmosphere but something seemed to have been bugging his mind. I kind of have an idea to what he's thinking and noted I should talk about it before going to my room. The door binged and open up to reveal our floor.

"Goodnight, Yohan", Seoyeon said giving him a smile and glanced back at me.

"You go in first, I have something to talk with him" She looked curious for a second but nodded anyway and turn to open the door to our suite.

I quickly turn to Yohan and look at him.

"You don't look okay", I stated.

"Yes, 'cuz I'm not"

"You don't need to call your brother for this. I'm not telling you to do it anyway", I said.

"But if it might help, I want to"

"Look, you're a detective. They won't give you out any information, let alone Lee. You guys don't even care to talk to each other"

He chuckled. "Ironic", he stated. I raised a brow confused.

"You don't talk to your brother too, Myungsoo"

"Our cases are different"

He bit his lips and sighed.
