SEOYEON's POV:

Knock knock

I look at the door thinking that I just heard a knock from the outside but didn't bother to plug off the earphones from my ears. I look at the time and it's 5.30pm. I doubted that anyone would be here at this time of the day so I resumed back to my work. 

It's been a week already since I moved in here and Myungsoo started going back to college a few days back. I didn't know when his classes ends nor did I ask anything about it. But he always came back around 7.30pm. 

I look down unsatisfied at the shades of color I added at a certain area on the LED screen I was working at.

Red will be better.

As I touched the green circle with the pen and brought it near the previous shaded part, I felt something so near to the side of my head giving me some weird feelings. So, I quickly turn my towards it only to face a side of a face so near me, making my eyes go wide and heart spead up, wild in shock. 

"What the? Myungsoo!", I said a little loudly and pushed myself back in reflex, surprised to see him in the room, let alone his face near mine.

He grinned showing off his annoying deep dimples.

"You knocked?", I asked after calming myself down. 

"Yeah, I did but you didn't answer me. So, I just walked in...", he said looking at me amused.

"...to see you so absorbed in something so I sneaked a peak", he added with a V sign beside his face.

"Why are you back so early today?", I asked as it was the only thing that came up first.

"Why? I can't? You don't want me here early?", he replied still with that annoying grin.

"I didn't say that...", I said as I turn back to the tablet.

"I didn't know that you are good at digital art", he commented looking over at my artwork.

"That's a Phoenix", he commented, looking amazed at the unfinished mythical creature on the screen.

"I took short term classes for digital arts a year back, thinking that maybe I can earn a living from arts in small studios sometime in the future. Glad you think that I'm good at it", I said as he kept his eyes on the creature, as if being absorbed in it.

"Are you interested in drawing?", he asked after a few minutes.

"Yeah, Kind of, always liked spending my free times drawing since I was a kid".

"You're amazing. I can't even draw a face. It always look like a kid's doodles", he said making me chuckle.

"Why are you here, anyway? Do you need something?", I asked. It's still early for dinner so I doubt he came in to tell me to cook. I have been cooking since day1 but I didn't complain anymore knowing since he wasn't ordering me around anymore. I still see him order people though. The way he talks on the phone, the way he orders the maids in the weekend..kind of irks me.

He's so rude with words.

"Nope", he said poppong the 'p'.

"I just wanted to head back early today and..." he said mumbling at the 'and'

"and?"

"...just wanted to check up on you", he said looking away.

"me?"

"Yeah. Isn't it boring alone?"

"Yeah..."

"Do you always get filmed or stalked when you go out?", I asked interested wondering if I'll get filmed now too if I go out.

"Nah...not really. Just that my reputation isn't that good from the start", he said breathing out as he fall back flat on my be with his long arms on the sides. 

"And they like to take chance in dragging me down more...so when they see something that looks scandalous, they just snap it and flash it on big pages.", he continued as he stared up in the ceiling.

I just kept quiet not knowing if I'm in a similar condition with him or not.

"Don't worry. They won't stalk you or anything. But we have to be careful with who we hang out with. They will just make up things themselves and fool people with their own version of stories", he said as he look over at me.

"You have lived all your life like this? It must be tough", he nodded and kept staring at me. I cleared my throat awkwardly and tried asking something 'thats been bugging my mind.

"Myungsoo.."

"Hmm?"

"When I searched up about you, many things like getting in fights with gangs, certified player, spoilt, trouble maker and such came up first...", I said as he chuckled.

"Do you really do all that? Or, are all those some make ups?", I asked.

"Those are real. All those images of me in fight, me with girls, changing every now and then, spoilt with parent's money, embracing me with whatever I want...all are real"

I looked at him disgusted and he grinned at my reaction.

"At least you're honest", I pipped in. 

"I'm always honest, sweetheart. I don't do lies, the girls cling on me, never told them I like them or anything"

I frowned at the fake endearment.

I just can't understand some girls. Why go for players when they can wait for someone who loves them and whom you can love back? Well they don't come easily, it's reality but I rather die as a spinster than hook myself up with some stranger just for some pleasure. What has the world come into?

"What are you thinking?", he asked breaking my thoughts.

"I rather wait for someone who loves me and whom I love back", I mumbled. He stared at me.

"But those are just in fairytales. Not all people get those happy endings in reality", he replied.

"I know. But don't you think it's better to live life with dignity rather than a enjoying life in a way that won't bring eternal happiness"

"So you think I don't care about my dignity?"
