Chang Wook has no idea how long they had stayed in each other's arms. That first kiss had become another and then another until somehow they had ended up stretched out on the couch. However, even though she was pure temptation itself, he had the presence of mind not to take things too far. He reminds himself that she is inexperienced and new to this. An innocent.

But, damn, it was hard.

He pulls back and leans his forehead on hers, his breathing heavy.

"JiHyun, we need to pause -- just for a moment,"

He takes in a deep breath while she looks up at him curiously.

"Are you ok, Oppa?"
 

"Yes, I am. I mean I will be," he mutters  "JiHyun, I don't know how much you know about when a man and a woman get, er, get close."

"You mean ion?" 

"No! Yes? No, I mean no! And - God, JiHyun you're killing me,"  he groans. Her legs are entangled with his and he can feel one of them slowly slide down the sided of his.
 

"Your body feels so different than mine," she confesses, part shy; part curious.

Chang Wook knows he won't be able to stand this much longer so he sits up, holding her close to him, yet willing her to sit still so he can get control of himself. 

"JiHyun, I wasn't quite meaning the, er, ion part which by the way, I think most people call it making love, or doing it, or maybe ." Or maybe the f-word but he wasn't going to tell her that.
 

"So many euphemisms," she rolls her eyes. "In the journals it's called ion or mating. The act of a male and female of a species-"

"Yes, well.." he interrupts, "The last thing we should do right now is talk about the process. And, I do know what ion and mating mean," he looks down at her, wanting to laugh despite himself. Ah, this girl.. she never fails to surprise him. Who knew she could be so matter of fact about it. She was making him blush. His ears feel warm and tingly and he rubs them quickly, certain they are now a bright red.
 

"My point though," he forges on determinedly, "is that I love you, and I - I desire you. But I don't want to rush things or make you feel taken advantaged of. I'm here for the long haul, JiHyun," he gazes at her his eyes serious and intent.  She h
