Chapter 15
❣ Scars To Your BeautifulA groan left your lips as you forced your heavy eyelids to open, though it cost you much more effort than it usually did. Your head felt like someone had enjoyed themselves playing bowling inside of it overnight and you brought your hands up towards your head and rubbed your temple in the hope to make the sharp pain disappear. Even after what you had come to know yesterday it had become a good night. Joe had continued to bring you drinks and eventually you had found yourself in an amused rush, where everything had been colorful and fun. Not only had you loosened up and had you found yourself in the middle in the dance floor, Baekhyun had been standing beside you. It was almost as if you two had been dancing all your misery away together, pretending for one night that you were just like everyone else and that you didn’t have anything to care for. It had been great, until you had woken up a few seconds ago and you knew that this was going to be one of the worst hangovers you had ever had. Nevertheless your mind went back to yesterday night and as you closed your eyes again it almost felt as if you were reliving it, you felt like you never wanted to come back to reality. You still remembered how his hands had felt on your hips, how they had followed a hot trace towards your waist, his fingers tickling against the skin of your arms. While your back had been pressed against his chest you had felt his warm breath against your neck and you had easily surrendered yourself to him and to the music as he had placed his lips right on the dip underneath your ear. No, you two hadn’t kissed last night, but you wished you had. How badly you had wanted to feel his mouth against yours, to melt away against him, to breath him in.
He had told you something that he had never told anyone before, in the middle of a club, right before throwing himself off a cliff with you. You regretted nothing, except for accepting so many drinks from Joe. Surprisingly the others had left the two of you alone all night, as if they had been able to sense that you needed some time alone. But you knew that they had figured that something was going on between the two of you, that your band had changed while they had been gone. Though you weren’t planning on telling them, surely not while your head was feeling like it could explode any second. You inhaled sharply, imagining that he would be laying beside you right now, how you would turn your head to the side and you would open your eyes and you would be able to stare straight into his. How his lazy expression would slowly turn into a smile, how he would greet you and would plant a morning kiss onto your lips. A shiver went through you and you knew that you got it bad, imagining something like that about a guy wasn’t good. You wondered what was going through his head right now, while he was slowly waking up in his room at the other side of the hallway. Maybe he regretted telling you his secret, maybe he wished that he could erase last night and wish that it had never happened. Did he think that he would push you away by telling you what had happened to him, that you would get scared or disgusted of him because of what had happened?
If anything you were afraid you had gotten in even deeper, that was the only thing you hated, that you had fallen so hard for him so fast while you barely knew him, though you did know more about him than anyone else seemed to know. The ray of sunlight that was falling around your curtains hurt your eyes, but you knew that you had to get out of bed. Your stomach was growling, asking for your attention and to be filled. Carefully you rolled onto your side so that you didn’t have to lift your head in order to see the time. 11 pm, jeez, you had slept almost your entire day away. Thank god you only had classes at two. So you stumbled out of bed, almost hitting the floor as dizziness came over you, making it seem as if the alcohol wasn’t entire out of your system just yet. But the hangover told you that it was and you fought the urge to crawl back underneath the covers and hide there for the rest of the day as you walked towards the door and pulled it open. It was terribly silent in the dorm, and you recalled that Gena and Sam had had to wake up early in the morning to had to class, while Joe had pronounced he was going to ditch his first class of the new semester. You had no idea what Amber’s schedule looking like, but you figured that you also didn’t really care about that one. Your eyes fell on the door in front of you and you pained your brain in the hope to remember if Baekhyun had any classes in the morning. Though the sound of
