But nope. No. It's real. Really real.

"Rosé here just came back from Australia to do this favor for me," Ji-yong seonsaeng-nim introduced Orange. "And I have to tell you kids, it took months to convince this star so don't mess with her, or you'll have to deal with me."

Gulp. I did not upset her with that SinB scene, did I?

"Anyway, a brief intro, I met Rosé back when I was teaching at a camp for aspiring writers in Melbourne. I remember, the first homework I asked them to do was to create a short story about what scares them the most. Her fear was," he coughed as Orange gave him a warning look, "well, it's a secret."

He continues then, "But anyway from the moment I read her work, I saw her incredible sense of phonaesthetics and innate ability to make people feel, that I just knew she was meant to make it big. I mean, this girl has a lot of big offers everywhere; I don't know why she insists on hiding in her attic."

Seonsaeng-nim then takes a deep breath, "Ah, I've talked too much haven't I? I just can't help not talking when I'm this excited. So how about I give the floor to this genius now?  Rosé, a few words to the team please."

As if on cue, everyone shifts their attention on Rosé who takes the microphone hesitantly. She stares at us with her eyes wide open and her lips parted for five seconds before she finally learned how to talk again.

"Uhhhhhh," Orange, okay fine let's try calling her Rosé from now on, starts. "Uh, first of all, congratulations to everyone for getting in. And, uh, don't believe Ji-yong saem! I have so much to learn yet, so much to tell, so much to live, so much to--Oh sorry, this is getting off-topic." 

She rambles on apologies until she comes back to her senses again and resumes, "Just, I am really eternally grateful for this offer. It's a check off my bucket list to have my work brought to life. And uh, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me! I'll try to be here every rehearsal. That's all, kamsahamnida!"

After that crazy meeting, I go to a coffee place near the theater house where I wait for Jackson. He and I agreed to go home together after his rehearsal, just you know, for the sake of it. Kidding, to save gas and money. I got the car, he got the money to pay gas, so yeah, not your regular awesome friendship . Just practicality.

I take a seat on an empty table and start to think about what happened today while sipping on my Iced Americano...

Ji-yong seonsaeng-nim isn't the playwright for this year. Instead, it's a girl I do not like at all from the first time we met each other during the audition. I mean, okay I did think she was pretty but I did say she wasn't my type too. Plus she was really being rude and judgemental so, ugh, why am I even defending myself from this?

Huh. Wait a minute.

If she was the writer, then why was she in the waiting area back then? I think back on the conversation we had, wondering if I had said anything to offend her. And then it clicked.

"So... you're trying out for, mmm, Roy?"
"Nah, I'm going for Caleb."
"Nah, definitely Roy."

I knew it. That . My audition was totally useless! From the start, from the moment she saw me, she already marked me as Roy. And she even had the nerve to confirm if I got the role. "Should I say congrats or better luck next time?" I knew she was being sarcastic! I really hate--oh. My coffee's all gone from the furious sipping I did while thinking about Oran--Ro--nope, she's demoted to Orange again.

I check the time; it's going to be quite a while still before Jackson comes so I decided to get another cup. I get my phone out and just surf the internet while waiting in the line when suddenly a girl squeals.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry," a pair of very slim silky hands wipes off the coffee spilled on my shirt. Thank God it was a frappucino and not a burning hot coffee or this day would have been really the worst.

"It's alright, I have a jacket so I can just cover it." I take a glance at the coffee culprit and my heart starts to beat fast. Wow, she's really beautiful. She doesn't look Korean but she's really, really, really beautiful. Her hair is blonde
