He was beautiful, too beautiful for my liking. Falling in love with him was never in my plan. But our hearts, it never lies. The butterflies were there, raging in the pit of my stomach. His eye… oh how I wish I could stare at them forever.

But forever is a long time.

We thought we could make it together. No matter what life threw at us, we can handle it together. But the tantrum was too heavy. Both of us were falling into different direction, way too far from one another.

That’s when we realized, that age is not just a number… that we couldn’t make it if we choose to stay with each other. So we left. Choosing the different path. Hoping… that leaving each other was our best decision.

Time passed.

Now he’s standing few feet away from me. Looking as surprise as I am. But he’s still beautiful. Still, too beautiful for my liking.

After all this time… the butterflies still madly raging in the pit of my stomach. That eyes again. Hypnotizing ever
