*Sooyoung Unnie's POV*

"Ellie you're on in 2 mins" said the stage manager. Ellie turned to me and mouthed 'wish me luck' and beamed at me.

"Good luck" I wished my star happily and watched her walk up the steps and onto the stage. As she started the song I heard someone approaching and felt them stop behind me. I turned a little just to check who it was and realised it was just our company president. I figured he was just there to support Ellie's comeback and bowed at him slightly before hurrying to shift my focus back to Ellie. That's when I heard him say those dreadful words.

"I know... About you and Ellie." 

The way he said it sent shivers down my spine. Not having a choice, I looked away from Ellie and turned to face him.

"Hi.. Sir wh.. what do you mean by that?" I asked hoping he wasn't referring to what I thought he was referring to.

"You know what! Don't make me spell it out for you" He spat in a harsh whisper. He had never taken that tone with me before so I knew he was really not happy about this. Regardless, I wasn't planning on admitting it so easily, in case he really didn't know anything yet.

"No Sir, I don't know what you mean," I said with as much confidence as I could muster.

"You really don't know huh? The nights spent at her house.. The holidays you go on with her? Huh? How would you like to explain that?" He asks frustration written all over his face.

With a breath to calm myself, I said " I spent nights at her place when meetings ended late and sometimes in the event of an early schedule the next day. It is purely out of convenience and about the trips, I'm her manager so isn't that part of my job? To keep an eye out for her?" 

"Don't get smart with me Sooyoung. I am sure you know what I am talking about. I didn't want it to have to amount to this but... I have proof" he finished with the last 3 words coming out as a whisper, almost sounding defeated. His eyes were downcast but he slowly looked up to meet my eyes. They reflected so much disappointed it hurt to keep looking at them.

"... There's a video of the two of you.. in her practice room.. Junseop" he said barely forming a proper sentence. He was frowning this time as his disappointment seemed to start to turn into anger again.

I inhaled sharply as the realisation hit me.

"Hey Ellie, Are you readyyyyyyyEllie?! What are you doing?! What if somebody sees us?!" I exclaimed in as much of a whisper I could manage when Ellie pulled me towards her. She was leaning against her piano and our faces were merely inches apart.  As much as I was tempted to kiss her I held back.

"Let go Ellie, I don't want anyone to see us" I said as I tried to maneuver out of her hold. Her very strong hold.

"Relax Soo... no one is going to see us. The last person in the office was Junseop oppa and he's already left. There's nothing to worry about " Ellie said to me as she pulled me even closer and nuzzled her face in the crook of my neck. I was always weak to those adorable and affectionate antics of hers and eventually relented and stopped struggling in her arms.

"I'm just tired okay? Can we please stay this way just a little longer?" she asked quietly before turning her head to look up at me. As I looked down at her I couldn't help but smile at those eyes that met mine and simply nodded, in turn earning a sweet and short little kiss from her. I just stayed in her embrace for another minute or so before she announced that she was satisfied and was willing to let me go home.

"So all that was just because I wasn't staying with you tonight?" asked as we prepared to leave the room.

"Yes. It definitely isn't enough but it will have to do for now. I have to fine a way deal with my gi...." Ellie started but stopped just as both of us stepped out of the room.

"Junseop oppa..." I heard Ellie say with her head turned to the left.

I followed Ellie's line of sight, leaned forward and was met with a blank expression from Juseop oppa. My heart started beating faster and faster as the thought of having our secret revealed came to the forefront of my mind. However, to my surprise, Junseop oppa smiled at us. He then proceeded to say " Oh hi ladies! What are you still doing here? Everyone has already left, you should get going too! I just stepped in again to grab my wallet. I accidentally left it behind earlier."

At that, I let out a sigh of relief and heard Ellie do the same. We quickly bid our goodbyes and hurried out of the office. He hadn't seen anything...

Or at least that's what I thought.

"Sir I..." I struggled to come up with something to say.

"There's nothing more you can say. There is no point in trying to lie your way out of this anymore. You know that this is in breach of your contract, don't you? I made it clear that there was to be no dating of the artist you were managing, didn't I? I thought I had nothing to worry about with you.. considering the fact that you were managing Ellie, a girl. Sooyoung... how could you think this was okay? Don't you know how adversely this can affect Ellie? What if this gets out? Do you want to be responsible for crushing her dreams? She's barely started her career and barely managed to make her comeback. I don't even want to know when this started with the two of you, but you know what? It does not even matter anymore. You know what I have to do. And if you want the best for Ellie, if you don't want to hurt the name she's worked so hard to create for herself... you know what you have to do too" 

"But Sir pleas.." I was interrupted by the loud cheers and realised that Ellie had just finished her performance and saw her heading off-stage towards me.

"Hey Soo.....young Unnie, and Hi Sir, I didn't know you would be coming to the comeback performance today," she said as she reached us, a little confused by his presence. I'll admit that is was a nice save on her part, remembering to refer to me as Sooyoung Unnie in front of him but little did she know that it was all too little too late. With a smile that meant so much more than Ellie would have known, he replied, "I just thought I should pop by and offer my support and there was also something I had to discuss with your manager. Now that that conversation and your comeback performance are both done, I think it's time I take my leave. Congratulations on your comeback Ellie and I wish you continued success" and with that wish, he turned to leave but not before giving me a meaningful look, one I understood very clearly.

I'm sorry Ellie... But this is for the best.

A/N:  Tried a Sooyoung POV this time. It was sad writing this and I kinda hesitated a little but I've had these few chapters planned for a while and finally decided to go ahead with it. I hope it's still to your liking so here's 2 short ones for you.
