Dara's POV

As I open my eyes, a smile automatically formed in my lips upon feeling Jiyong's arms around me then I slightly turned around and looked at him with sleepy eyes. It's been more than two years already since our second marriage but still, it feels like it was only yesterday. My love for him is growing strong as each day is passing and I knew he feels the same. We are truly both lucky to have one another.

"Don't stare too much. I already know how good looking I am." He suddenly murmured but his eyes still closed.

I chuckled then softly hit his arm. "Jerk."

He slowly opens his eyes then grinned. "Good morning, wifey."

I chuckled again then cupped his face and kissed the tip of his nose. "Morning, hubby." Then suddenly, I feel sick all over my stomach so I covered my mouth and pushed him then run towards the bathroom and throw up on the sink.

"Dara!" He rushed beside me and massaged my back. "Are you okay?"

I nodded as I gargle then wiped my mouth and looked at him with pounding chest. "I think I'm pregnant already. I also threw up yesterday morning."

His face shown surprise. "Why you didn't tell me?"

I smiled sheepishly. "I thought it was just a stomach upset." Then I opened the cabinet and get the pregnancy kit test. "Get out for the meantime." He was about to protest but I already pushed him out and locked the door. After peeing, I inhale deeply as I waited for the result and as soon as two red lines appeared, I bite my lower lip then hurriedly open the door. "It's positive." My voice even cracked.

His face softens then cupped my face and kissed my forehead. "I love you, Dara."

"I love you too, Ji." Then I start to sob.

"What's wrong?" He asked with worry.

I quickly shake my head. "Nothing's wrong. It's just that I really feel emotional right now."

He smiled in amusement then hugged me tight. "We are going to have a baby."

I hugged him tighter then anxiety suddenly kicks in my system for some odd reason. "Will I be a good mother?" Bom's Mom technically raised me and Auntie treated me like I am his own daughter but deep down inside me, there's something that I long for. My biological mother's affection and love. But she left and life goes on.

He carefully squeezed me. "You'll be fine." Then he cupped my face. "You'll definitely be the best mother in the universe."

I stared at him for a while before I smiled. Somehow feel better now. "And you'll be the best father in the universe."

He smirked. "I am quite determined to have that title."

I only giggled. Later on, we go to the hospital and meet my doctor who happened to be my college classmate. It is a small world after all. "Am I really pregnant?"

Shinhye smiled then nodded. "Yes, Dara. You are on seventh week already."

I mentally backtrack the date and my face flush when I noticed Jiyong's big gummy smile. He definitely thinks where we were during that week. "So..." I cleared my throat. "How is our baby doing?"

Shinye chuckled. She obviously saw Jiyong's reaction as well. "I'll run some test on you and we will know then."

Few hours after, she is done. "How's Dara and our baby?" Jiyong asked her.

"So far, everything is okay." Then she handed me an envelope. "The initial result is there and you must visit me every month so I could monitor you and your baby. You can also message me anytime if you have questions or concerns."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Congratulations by the way." Then she smiled at me. "Don't be nervous. You and your baby are going to be fine."

When we leave her clinic, Jiyong entwined our fingers together. "We should celebrate. I wanted to go to our favorite ramen house but Shinye mentioned that you are banned in eating ramen for the meantime."

I pout. "Let's just have fried chicken then."

He grinned. "Not too much fried foods. Should be more vegetables and fruits. Remember?"

I groan. "Fine."

He only laugh. Then the next day, Jiyong went to Oasis after his work. "Did you already tell your staff about your condition?"

I shake my head. "I forgot."

He sigh then goes down and few minutes passed, Taecyon and Hyoni are with him. "Your boss has something to tell."

When they looked at me with curiosity, I don't know why but I suddenly feel shy. "I am pregnant."

Their faces brighten. "Congratulations!" Hyoni squealed as she hugged me while Taecyon shakes hand with Jiyong.

"How many weeks already?" Taecyon asked.

I smiled shyly. "Six weeks."

"Wow! I am already excited to see you get big." Hyoni said teasingly.

"Now you are pregnant, you shouldn't stay late here." Taecyon said.

I was about to protest but Jiyong covered my mouth using his hand then it made Taecyon and Hyoni laugh. "Oasis will be fine. Right, guys?"

"Right!"

I only sigh. Then days gone by. Days became weeks. Weeks became months. And now I am seven months pregnant.

"Dara, you look bloated already." Bom said teasingly.

I glared at her. "I am pregnant, not fat."

She grinned. "I did not say that you are fat."

I groan as Chaerin giggled. "Unnie, did the twins keep on moving again?" It seems she noticed that I never leave my one hand out on my stomach.

I nodded then smiled happily. "Since last night actually. I just hope that they are not fighting with each other."

The two laugh. "Your husband is too excited already." Bom said.

"Why he wouldn't?" Chaerin said. "She's carrying twins and both male." Jiyong and I totally got suprised when Shinhye announced few months ago that I am carrying two babies. Then Chaerin suddenly eyed me curiously. "Since there are no twins in your father's side, it's possible that your biological mother has a family line of twins."

I shrugged nonchalantly. "Whatever it is, I'll make sure that I'll never be like her." The two glanced to each other before they focused their gaze on me. "What?"

"What if your biological mother suddenly shows up?" Bom said with curiosity.

"I honestly didn't know what to feel but we aren't even sure if she's still alive. Auntie and Uncle don’t have any news after she left." Then I inhale deeply. "Let's not talk about her anymore, okay? Wherever she is, if she's still alive, I just hope she's doing fine. She has her own reasons why she suddenly disappeared and no matter how I disliked her because of that, she's still my biological mother. Unfortunately."

The two just nodded and smiled in understanding. Later on, Jiyong arrived home. "Hey, wifey. I missed you." After he kissed me quick, he looked to the two. "Thank you for babysitting my beautiful wife." He said to them.

"Nothing comes free, boss." Chaerin said with a grin.

"I know. I know. I'll pay you back one day."

"What about me?" Bom asked him.

"You already advanced your payment, remember?" He helped her in renovating her apartment for free.
