Jiyong's POV 

It's almost Dara's birthday and there's still no sign of her but I am still not giving up. Not unless there's evidence that she won't really come back anymore but I am not entertaining that idea. I knew that she'll return and then I will make amends on every pain I've caused her. I just hope that she'll forgive me. She loves me. I am going to hold on that.  

"Boss…" I blinked my eyes when Chaerin entered my room. "I'll go ahead now. What about you?" 

"Just finishing some papers." 

She snorted. "Yeah, right. See you tomorrow." 

As she closed the door, I inhale deeply then try to concentrate on my computer but I just stared blankly at the monitor until I got startled. My phone is ringing and it's Seunghyun. "Yes, Hyung?" 

"Still at the office?" 

I frowned. Quite wondering why he was calling. "Yeah. Did something happen?" 

"Nothing. Just checking on you." 

I groan. "I am not suicidal at the moment." 

He chuckled. "Good. You still have brighter days ahead." 

I snorted. "How I wish." 

"No need to wish. It'll happen. Trust me." 

He's telling weird things again. "You're being an alien again, Hyung." 

He only laugh. After the call ended, I decided to leave the office then I found myself driving to Oasis. When I reached Oasis, I went to the usual area I am sitting then my chest pound hard upon hearing the familiar song that is currently being sing by Joohyun, one of Oasis's resident singers. 

It's only me to blame.  

I shouldn't have loved you from the start.  

This was one of the songs that composed by Dara. If I'm not mistaken, the titled is You or Me. These were the words I saw on a post it note at her apartment. She must've been writing around that time. 

Then I cleared my throat when the waiter approached me. "The usual, Sir?" 

I just nodded. After the drink has been served, I roam my eyes around until I found myself looking at a CCTV camera. It's like someone is watching me then I looked away when claps echoed in the bar. The song ended already. I suddenly imagine Dara singing that song. But the song was written with a broken heart. Damn. 

Later on, I went home and the familiar emptiness covered me when I lay myself on the bed. I badly miss Dara. I wasted so many times already and I don't know how I will continue living without her. I am so ed up. 

As the next day comes, I went to work like working is just part of my life's routine. I no longer enjoy working. Well, I simply not enjoying this life without Dara. Especially knowing that I hurt her so many times. I made her cry many times. .  

Then I inhale deeply when a call transferred from Chaerin. I hate working. "This is Jiyong." But it seems no one is on the other line as I heard nothing. "Hello?" Then I heard the person on the other line cleared it's throat. "Who's this?" 

"Ji." Upon hearing that very familiar voice, I felt my heart stopped beating but I am literally feeling the pulses in my head. 

Then I found myself standing up resulting to my chair to stumble loudly. "Dara!?" 

She inhale deeply. "How are you?" 

What the hell. Why she was sounding casual? "Where are you?" 

"Ji---" 

"Just tell me where the hell are you!?" 

"You have to calm down, Ji." 

. "How can I calm down!? Just tell me where you are!" I truly sounded desperate already then my heart thumped wildly when she told me the hotel name and room number.  . That hotel was near to Oasis. For how long since she came back!? "Wait me there! Don't you dare to leave!" Then I abruptly ended the call.  

After I left my room, I saw Chaerin and she smiled at me. "Don't mess up this time." 

I smirked. "I learned my lesson already." 

Then I hurriedly went to my car and while driving, my heart is kept on thumping fast. Though there's a possibility that she might not somehow forgive me but I will do everything to make her stay with me. She's my wife already. And that will stay forever. Screw that contract. 

When I reached the hotel, my heart continued thumping wildly and more when I finally found her room number. Then I pressed the door's buzzer and few seconds passed, I swallowed hard when the door slowly opens. Slowly revealing the person inside. Damn. I've been waiting for this. 

And as soon as I saw Dara, I suddenly felt a lump in my throat. . She's really here and I am insanely in love with her. Then she smiled awkwardly. "Hey." 

Tears started to form in my eyes while I noticed the wariness in her eyes then I get inside of the room and using my one feet, I closed the door then pulled her against me and hugged her so tight. "Dara…" Then I squeezed her. "You're really here." 

"I'm---" 

I knew she will apologize so I stopped her by cupping her face. "Don't feel sorry. Everything is my fault. I should be the one to beg for your forgiveness." Then I roam my eyes around her face. Damn. She's more beautiful now. "I missed you so much, Dara." 

She bites her lower lip while tears became visible in her eyes. "Jiyong, I---"
