Jiyong's POV

Despite that Dara and I agreed with each other that there will be no secrets between us anymore, I somehow broke it but I promised to myself that it will be the first and last one. I just don't want her to know that I met Sohee few days ago because I worry that she'll misunderstand it. My relationship with Sohee before hurt her too much and I don't want to relive those painful memories of her.

"So you've decided to keep it from her forever?" Seunghyun said.

I groan. He visited me in the office after having lunch with Bom and I found myself confessing that secret to him and I believed him when he said that he'll not tell anything to Bom. "I already told you my reason why I need to do that."

He chuckled. "But if I were you, it's better for Dara to know. She'll understand for sure why you met Sohee."

I quickly shake my head. "I can't risk it. I don't want her to get hurt again."

He stared at me for a while then shrugged his shoulders afterwards. "Whatever you want."

I only inhale deeply. I see his point but for some reason, I really feel worried on her possible reaction. After work, I went to Oasis then smiled at Dara as soon as I entered her office room. "Hey, wifey."

She smiled back then she stands up when I reached her to hug her. "You're quite early."

"I'm excited to see you." When she just stared at me, I cupped her cheeks. "Are you okay?"

She blinked her eyes then smiled again. "Yep. By the way, I got concert tickets."

"From Jessie?"

She nodded. "You want to go?"

"When is it?"

"This coming Friday." Then she opened her drawer and pulled out the tickets. "These are VIP seats."

I chuckled. "Jessie was quite generous."

She smiled. "This artist sang most of my works so Jessie wanted me to experience hearing those songs being sing live and this concert is that artist's fifth anniversary as well." . It only means that I'll hear all her sad love songs about me. Then she slid the tickets back to her drawer. "I knew that it will be somehow awkward for both of us but if you are not really comfortable going with me, I'll ask somebody else to go with me or I can return the tickets to Jessie."

Then I found myself grasping her hands. "I'll go with you."

She eyed me seriously. "Sure?"

I nodded. "Those songs were your creation. Regardless of the reason why you wrote those before, it's your work so they were definitely good songs."

She kissed my cheek. "Thank you."

I kissed her forehead in return. "Anyway, I saw a new face downstairs. Is she the new singer you've been talking about?"

"Yep. She just started today and she's pretty cool." Then her eyes spark in amusement. "Actually, she and Joohyuk know each other."

That startled me. "Really?"

"They are friends."

"Small world huh."

Something spark in her eyes before she turned around and go back to her seat. "Indeed." Then she stared at me with frown on her face. "Something wrong?"

I blinked my eyes then shake my head when I realized that I am staring at her. "Nothing." It's not the same spark before that bothered me so much but why I suddenly felt worried? Damn. I must be just felt guilty because of what I did.

After we go home, I found myself planning to tell Dara the truth but when I looked at her face, I immediately retreated. She's smiling and I really worry that she'll misunderstand anything so I'll bury that secret. It will never happen again anyway. Then I silently groan. . I hate this feeling.

When the concert day comes, I smiled as I stared at Dara. "You're so beautiful, wifey."

She smiled back. "You too."

I chuckled then gestured my arm. "Let's go?" She encircled her arm with me and I groan as she pressed her side onto me. "Don't overdo it, wifey. I might change my mind in going to that concert and we'll just stay here."

She only laugh. Later on, we reached the venue and there were a lot of people. "Wow. We are really in good spot."

I smirked. "If this concert will be in DVD, we'll surely be shown." She giggled then looked around with anticipation on her face. "You're looking forward to this."

She smiled as she nodded. "I also wonder why."

I kissed her forehead. "We'll know later."

During the concert, I kept on smiling while seeing Dara enjoying the songs and it seems keeping that secret from her is the most practical thing. I don't want my wife to lose this kind of happiness on her face. She deserves everything.

After the concert, I chuckled when she didn't move yet to stand up. "Hangover?"

She giggled. "I never thought that sad love songs were good to listen. When I wrote..." She suddenly stopped then smiled sheepishly. "Sorry."
