The only time that Daehyun could really express himself was when the world was asleep. As he watched the person holding him sleep soundly, so many thoughts ran through his mind.

Yongguk was complicated and he was intricate. A very delicate puzzle that had been put together in a secure way that ensured it would not come apart in any way. He was unlike Daehyun who was a broken mirror struggling to keep his pieces together.

Daehyun could only ever relate to him when he was asleep. When Yongguk was asleep Daehyun didn’t need to worry about the awkward aura that overcame them. He hated it.

And he hated that when the members teased them, the only thing they could do was laugh because they themselves knew it was true. However, the members were not aware that Yongguk and Daehyun were together.

Despite them being awkward, they fell for each other. They each had certain traits that attracted one another. Yongguk admired Daehyun’s determination and his self-discipline while Daehyun admired Yongguk for all that he was.

It was an odd relationship on their part, touches between them were rare unless they were asleep like right now. Yongguk slept with his arms tightly wound around Daehyun’s waist and Daehyun slept with his head lying comfortably in the crook of the elder’s neck.

Yongguk was a man of little words, he didn’t express much while Daehyun expressed too much. But Yongguk knew that Daehyun wasn’t comfortable enough to share things with him, often going to Youngjae or Himchan when he needed guidance.

But at night it was Yongguk’s arms that he found comfort in.

And it was Yongguk’s arms that he wanted to stay in.
