"So it seems my brother has gone and married someone else." Yongguk says nonchalantly as he stares at the younger male across from him, eyes taking in the new face. Youngjae blinks and his heart stings,

"So... there's going to be no marriage?" he asks with pursed lips. His whole childhood had been shaped solely for this union, why was Yongguk even bothering? Their parents would tell them of the broken engagement anyway.

"No, you'll be marrying me instead." Yongguk replies curtly and Youngjae freezes uncomfortably in his seat. He takes a moment to look over Yongguk's features properly, it was alarming how similar he was to Yongnam.

"I-I'm sorry?" he sputters, finally processing the new information. Yongguk smiles sweetly and Youngjae hates how fake it seems, it's obvious that Yongguk doesn't want this at all.

"My brother left a mess behind for me to deal with. I'll see you soon, we'll discuss the wedding details."
