[Convenience store]

Chaeyoung's attention left the screen of her phone when she heard a lady yell. 

"Jeongyeon, lets go~" that lady hummed with what seems like a bag full of alcohol. 

"Looks like this high schooler has some revenue today." Chaeyoung hummed as she entered the store.

"But that woman seemed to be buying an unhealthy amount of alcohol... even for a university student." Dahyun said.

"It's bad to gossip about customers unnie." Chaeyoung nagged.

"Yes "boss"... and you're here early. I still have 20 minutes till knock off." Dahyun said while staring at her watch. 

"Class ended earlier than usual." Chaeyoung said while looking around the usually empty shop. 

Thought situated in the city, it was the area near universities and schools. The only times the store was busy was during lunch and sometimes dinner hours. With the end of the university exams, many people popped by the store mostly buying beer and snacks to celebrate. 

Chaeyoung and Dahyun were high schoolers whose school was a few blocks away from the store and a free streets away from their home. Chaeyoung would always go look for her Best Friend and neighbour there.

"You can head home first you know? You don't have to wait for me, even though we are neighbours." Dahyun said. 

"Hmm... but you are scared of the dar
