In a certain University located in the Gimhae, the Southern part of Korea, a boy of average height was attending his afternoon class,eventhough it was the major he loved, he was bored to hell as the teacher was going on and on about how important is it to understand the importance of music composition without even doing anything remotely close to it. And for the boy it was really difficult to grasp all these brain torturing theories. The boy who was named Kyungsoo sighed and glanced at his best friend, Baekhyun, who was sitting next to him, well if sitting was an appropriate word to describe the latter's current position, right now Baekhyun's upper half body was bend on the table, while he was dozing off with his mouth half open, and to top it all he was drooling on his copybook.
Kyungsoo chuckled at this sight, and sneakily took his mobile out to take a picture of this iconic moment. And thankfully for him after 3 hours of lecture, they were finally set 'free', but before they could go out, Kyungsoo smacked his best friend on the back of his head with his book, the latter sprang from his seat and fell on the ground with a yelp.
Kyungsoo snickered at this and said
"Serves you right for sleeping in class while i'm forcing myself to listen to Mr Inseok rambling! Do you realize that I slept with my eyes wide open!"
Baekhyun who was on the ground, stood up and patted his hands on his bum, while looking at Kyungsoo with a pouty face
"You do realize Kyungie-poo that my bum is literally in pain right now! And I don't care about what Mr Inseok or whatsoever was rambling about! All I wanted to do was sleep and I was having such a nice dream of my boyfriend and I having so much fun on the sandy beaches of Hawaii but you had to wake me up so harshly not cool kyungie-poo not cool!"
Kyungsoo rolled his eyes at his idiotic friend and mumbled
"What did you exactly do last night?"
Baekhyun snickered while collecting his bag, and threw an arm around Kyungsoo's shoulders and said in he's-oh-so-genius-tone while they were walking out of class
"Researching on the ancient history of our university! Do you know that this university was a palace before? Mind blown right! There was the king, the queen and their one and only son, prince Gyungsoo who unfortunately died at the age of 21!"
Kyungsoo gasped while listening to Baekhyun, somehow he felt his heart beats accelerate, it's true that when you look around the university campus it indeed looks like a castle's compound, but what intrigued him more was why did the prince die and that too at such a young age?
"Baek was the prince sick or something like that?"
Kyungsoo glanced up at his best friend who was now chewing on his lower lip and looked distracted. Ah trust Baek and his ADD! But soon the latter gasped and spoke
"Yes I remember, he in fact killed himself in front of his parents be-- Kyungie you okay?"
Kyungsoo couldn't understand why all a sudden he was feeling suffocated while listening to this piece of information, still he signaled Baek to carry on
"Yea as I was saying he killed himself as his parents opposed his love for the blacksmith's son I think his name was Kai! The thing is that when his dad, the king found out about their supposedly forbidden love, he asked the guards to behead the poor guy, and you know what it's the prince's butler who spilled the beans! That bastard! The prince took his revenge and pierced a sword to that bastard's heart and then he killed himself with his dad's sword by piercing his chest with it! Later on the king ordered the guards to bury the lovers next to each other in the castle's compound"
Kyungsoo began to feel odd all a sudden, he looked outside of the large window pane, there were indeed two old tombstones in the university's yard. Kyungsoo couldn't help but sigh as he began to think about what if the 2 of them reincarnated again so that they can be together? But his chain of thoughts were cut short when Baek pinched his arm, he smacked the hand away from his arm and said in an irritated tone
"WHAT!"
His best friend raised his index finger to his lips and with his eyes he signaled Kyungsoo to look to his right, and when he did, his breath hitched, there was his Greek God walking towards the music room, Kyungsoo watched the latter's retreating back and smiled, indeed he was in love with the one and only Kim Jongin, the singer of a popular band, after the afternoon classes, Jongin comes here to teach music to those who are doing a major in this field and Kyungsoo couldn't help it but fall for him. Whenever Jongin sees him, he flashes a smile but unfortunately for Kyungsoo the latter's already got a 'boyfriend'! He sighed! What a piece of fine art that Kim Jongin is! It's a waste though that he's already taken.
"Hey kyung-poo come on don't belittle yourself like this! You're nothing compared to that uhh boyfriend of his!"
Kyungsoo glared at his friend and his narrowed his eyes and said in a matter of fact tone
"Of course I'm not comparable to that dickface! I'm a limited unique edition and that bastard is so fake that even China wouldn't claim his sorry ! Jongin is an idiot to be with that fake ken-look alike ya know!"
Baek nodded enthusiastically and agreed with everything his best friend stated. Kyugnsoo smiled and then bid goodbye to Beak as he decided to drop by the library to do his own personal notes for music composition, but before that he took a detour to the music room and peeked inside from the window. He cautiously looked at Jongin, the latter was looking so damn devilishly handsome as usual, he was wearing this long-sleeved blue shirt on and he wore his tight black pair of jeans with his Converse shoes on! Kyungsoo was in awe as Jongin surely knows what to wear to complement his greek like body and sun kissed skin of his.
With a last peek, he sighed as the class was soon filled with a soft melody. When he entered the huge library, he took a deep breath and went to look at the books on music composition, even if Mr Inseok's notes were quite good, he still preferred to prepare his own notes.
Soon Kyungsoo grabbed the books, and began to concentrate, after a while he heard a piano melody and that made him gasp as he felt like he knew this tune, he was so sure that he heard it before, but where? He doesn't know! It's not a song that that is popular or anything, with that he got up and went out of the library and Kyungsoo acted like as if he was in trance and followed sound of the melody, Kyungsoo was intrigued as no one was singing. When he reached to the destination where the melody was playing, Kyungsoo was astonished as the melody was coming from the music room, without wasting time he opened the door and got inside.
He looked at the person who was playing the piano, it was Jongin, the latter looked like he was lost in his thoughts but his fingers were on the keyboard playing the sweet yet melancholic melody, Kyungsoo could see that Jongin was getting frustrated as he wasn't able to sing the lyrics, each time he opened his mouth to sing he stopped and soon was restarting the song. Kyungsoo took a deep breath and marched towards the piano, he closed his eyes and started to sing following the melody,
One man loves you.
That man loves you with all his heart.
Everyday he follows you like a shadow
That man, cries as he laughs
Just how.. How much more do i
Have to stare at you alone
This love that came like the wind
This beggar-like love.
If i continue this way will you love me?
Just come a little nearer.. a little more
If i take one step closer to you,
Then you take 2 steps back.
But before he could carry on with the song, Jongin stopped playing, Kyungsoo opened his eyes and gasped, his crush had his gaze on him and it was evident that he was more surprised than ever, Jongin got up and approached him, he hesitantly brought his hand up and cupped kyungsoo's cheek, he maintained an eye contact, took a deep breath and said softly
"So you're the one who's been coming into my dreams. Every time I saw your eyes but your face was always blurry! But now when you sang this song I immediately knew it was you! Each time I played this song, I could never know the lyrics heck it's not even a song that exists! Why each time when I look at you I feel like we've got a connection. Why do I always feel like deep within me I know you like the back of my hand! You're just a stranger but why do you mean so much to me right now?"
Kyungsoo let these words play in his head, its true, since he saw Jongin, he always felt a connection with the latter and unknowingly he found himself getting attached to Jongin. And now he was left confused as he was singing a song that he never ever heard of and now Jongin was saying that he was seeing him in his dreams. Is it true that they indeed have a connection? By now Jongin was still looking at the smaller man and was studying every inch of his face, Kyungsoo placed his hand over Jongin's and without knowing anything he blurted the words that shocked them both
"We finally found each other my love"
Jongin let go of the latter's face with shock written all over his face, he clutched onto his temples and sat down with a thud on the nearby chair, he closed his eyes, while Kyungsoo could only look at him not knowing what just happened right now. He was perplex on what shall he do? But before he could say anything more, Jongin said in a little voice,
"Can you gimme sometime to think all about this weird thing that is happening between us?"
Kyungsoo nodded, knowing that his voice will crack if he speaks. He went out of the music room giving one last glance at Jongin who was refusing to meet his eyes. He feel a weight on his chest, he sighed and closed the door behind his back.

One Week Later.
Since the incident in the music room, Kyungsoo was moody and was easily irritated, he couldn't help but think about what he said to Jongin. To add weight to his annoyance, the latter ignores him like a plague, and was always in the company of his 'boyfriend'. Kyungsoo was seriously getting anxious with this situation! However, Baek was always by his side and was supporting his bad mood. They were still in class when he sensed Baek nudging him, he looked at his friend who seemed really concerned
"Kyungie-poo your mood has been ty since the past week, and you're not even telling me what is wrong! Come on cheer up!"
Kyungsoo managed to smile a little and then shrug away the subject as if it was nothing important. Soon after the the classes were over, he bid goodbye to Baek and decided to go and visit the tombstones that were in the back of the university's yard, as he reached there, the tombstones were in a kinda piteous state, but he could still read the names engraved in the stone, he took out his handkerchief and wiped the hard surface, the first words that he read were
"To our one and only son, Gyungsoo of Goryeo, we apologize for everything, and we sincerely wish that you meet your other half in another life and be happy."
Kyungsoo felt dejected all a sudden, and then he repeated the same action for the next tombstone, he wiped the surface and read the inscriptions
"To Kai, we sincerely apologize for our act, if you meet our son in another life please take care of him and love him unconditionally"
Kyungsoo sighed, what an irony to stay the words Believe in another life when it may not even exist! He stared at the tombstones in a pensive mode when a voice from behind startled him,
"Did you look at the pictures of them above the messages?"
Kyungsoo turned around and saw Jongin that had a small smile tugging on his lips, the latter approached him and then took the handkerchief from his hand and wiped the upper part of the tombstone, and as soon as he did it Kyungsoo gasped hard, when he saw the faded picture of the prince on the tombstone
"T-that's m-me"
Jongin turned around and nodded and soon proceeded to do the same action on the other one, and again Kyungsoo was left in shock Kai was the exact replica of Jongin in the faded picture! With his back turned to Kyungsoo, Jongin said
"I somehow felt that we indeed had a connection after you let out those words in the music room the other day. I did a research work since the past week, and in the old library I read the story of this kingdom and its people, and I was really shocked to see our pictures, I then decided to connect all the dots together! The song, the words you said, the unexplained attraction between us, the dreams I had, all started to fall right in place! I could only come to one conclusion that you're the one I've been waiting for all this time! And i think it's high time for Kai and Gyungsoo to be reunited!"
Kyungsoo smiled and nodded eagerly, Jongin came towards him and him tight while whispering,
"We are finally one love"
Kyungsoo nodded against Jongin's chest and hugged him tight still not believing what happened just now.

A Few Years Later.
Kyungsoo was smiling like an idiot as he saw Jongin performing on stage alongside his other group members, the concert was surely a hit as the whole stadim where the concert was held was erupting with the loud singing and screeching voices of the fans. During the last few years that they got together, everything was just unbelievable, first Jongin explained the whole situation to his ex-boyfriend of that time that Jongin and Kyungsoo were destined to be together, the guy looked at them as if they were out of their minds and spitted that he didn't want to carry on dating an insane man.
After a 2 years, Kyungsoo graduated, and it's only in the after party that he told Baek their story, the latter was certainly awestruck and gaped at the couple, still he managed to congratulates them. Now that Jongin and Kyungsoo are together, they seek out for the approval of their parents and this time their relationship got accepted without any issues.
Currently Kyungsoo was backstage with, Baek and Chanyeol and the concert was about to end, they heard Suho and Yixing saying goodbye and soon all of them came running backstage, they were all excited that the concert was a huge success, and soon the manager gave them a green signal to move to their hotel after finishing his little brief. Jongin came towards his boyfriend and pecked his forehead. He then draped an arm around his lover's shoulders while pulling him close to him
"So baby was I the iest and cutest guy on that stage?"
Kyungsoo smirked at the smugness of his boyfriend and nudged him against his chest
"No Yixing hyung was the most adorable and y one"
From the other side Yixing gave Kyungsoo a smirk and said
"Thank you kyungie-love! You're adorable and y too... *pause* my lovely younger brother"
Yixing threw a flying kiss in Kyungsoo's direction, Kyungsoo caught it and smiled. Jongin who was looking at this was getting kinda jealous of his boyfriend's interaction with his hyung so in front of everyone he cupped his lover's face and kissed him on his lips, after the kiss, Kyungsoo blushed and hid himself in the arms of his taller boyfriend, as he heard the other members cheering and imitating kissing sounds to tease them. Jongin who was now satisfied with what he did hugged his petite lover tight and mumbled only for his lover to hear
"Mine... you're only mine Soo and remember I love you so much babe. "
Kyungsoo smiled with delight, these are the rare moments when Jongin can get possessive over him, and feel the need to show that he belongs to him so he also mumbled
"I love you too Nini! And you're mine too baby"
"Yes love I'm yours and I intend to let it stay like this forever"
Kyungsoo smiled and nodded against his boyfriend's chest, he knew that they came a very long way from where they were and he's actually so thankful to whoever allowed him and Jongin to meet again as he's sure that he doesn't want anyone else in his life and he could see that Jongin was feeling that same as he was looking at him as if Kyungsoo is his whole universe.

For now I'm writing a new shot called 'Lost on you'. It'll be a written version of the Kaisoo short movie I did. So it's highly recommended to watch it before you read it. :)
