Hello everyone I'm back after 1 month of absence and I'm extremely sorry for making you guys wait,

but assignments and my upcoming exams is taking up my time. Hope that this update can do justice.

The door chimes indicated that a new customer entered the café, the waiter who was standing by the door smiled brightly and welcomed the new customer

 

“Morning sir welcome to sweet angel’s café. Allow me to take you to your seat”

 

The said man groaned and looked pointedly at the waiter who was nearly the same height as him

 

“Shut up jimin! Get me my black coffee”

 

And with that the ‘customer’ walked towards his seat while muttering to himself ‘what’s the ing use of waking up so early?’. Jimin who was now clutching onto his notepad looked at the retreating back of the man with a pout he dejectedly began to walk to the counter where his boss was currently taking care of the orders,

 

“Hyung can I please get a cup of black coffee?”

 

His boss turned around and looked at the latter’s dejected expression, he asked softly

 

“What’s wrong chimchim? Why are you so gloomy?”

 

Jimin huffed and exclaimed while flailing his hands up

 

“It’s yoongi”

 

“Ah come on chimchim you know he’s not a morning person and expecting him to be smiling at you in the morning is impossible”

 

Jimin pouted more and said

 

“But dudu hyung he’s my boyfriend for god sake can’t he be more nice towards me?”

 

Kyungsoo sighed and patted jimin’s shoulder

 

“Go give him his coffee I’m sure that he’s gonna be fine with his daily dose of caffeine”

 

 

Jimin sighed and nodded, he took the cup of coffee that kyungsoo handed him and walked towards his grumpy boyfriend’s table. As he reached the table where the latter was he sighed as the latter’s half body was sprawled on the table. Feeling irritated by his boyfriend’s drowsy state jimin kicked the table leg, an action which made yoongi jolt awake, he groaned and looked at jimin with a scowl

 

“Was that ing necessary you brat?”

 

“Yes it was you ignorant pig! I ing gave you my eye smile  as soon as you entered the café and what you did instead you ordered me to shut up and get you your coffee! Like could you be more disrespectful than this with your boyfriend? Anyway why do I even bother! Here’s your coffee stupid grandpa”

 

Jimin dumped the cup of coffee on the table and was about to walk away when yoongi caught his arm and pulled him towards him, while making jimin sit on his lap, he secured his arms around his boyfriend waist and sighed before speaking,

 

“Sunshine I didn’t mean to sound rude I’m just tired. I stayed back at the studio to write new songs and I wasn’t being inspired at all so I tried to polish the lyrics I had. I stayed back in the studio up  till 06:00 a.m. and when I finally got home to sleep I get a message from you asking if I’m coming to the café and trust me the overuse of the emojis made my eyes hurt—“

 

“So what you’re trying to say here is that it’s because of me that you’re in bad mood?”

 

Jimin glared at his boyfriend who in return sighed again and hid his face in the crook of the latter’s neck

 

“Sunshine please! Don’t put words to my mouth. I just said I was in a bad mood because I wasn’t able to write the lyrics and I slept late and woke up very early and knowing you If I didn’t come to see you here you would’ve gave me the silent treatment and I can’t bear this as it’s too complicated to bring you back to normal as it requires loads of energy to do all this”

 

Jimin groaned but nevertheless took hold of yoongi’s hand and entwined their fingers together

 

“You know sometimes I wonder how I put up with your blunt attitude. I really envy dudu hyung and his boyfriend they are always so careful and romantic around each other that it makes me wanna puke fluffy unicorns and rainbows. But when it comes to us sometimes I feel that I’m the one who gives, gives and gives and in return receives blunt answers and a face devoid of any emotion every time. It hurts hyung, why can’t you be nice to me for once? You know that I love you so much and I’m also aware that you got into this relationship out of pity. But please just this once can’t you just tell me I love you or even pretend to show some sort of attachment towards me. The only word of endearment you use is ‘sunshine’. I’m not saying that I hate it but please hyung can you please tell me what you’re really thinking for once?”

 

Jimin felt yoongi getting stiff all a sudden, he blinked the tears away feeling the lack of attention from yoongi, sighing for the umpteenth time he stood up and walked towards the counter leaving a baffled yoongi behind him.

Kyungsoo who was still at the counter was looking at the couple who were now in the far corner, and he could only shake his head when he saw jimin walking sadly towards the kitchen. He felt momentarily sad for his dongsaeng, he knows how much jimin loves yoongi but he really can’t understand why yoongi is always grumpy and rude towards jimin. Kyungsoo sighed again and began to clean the counter when the door chimes indicated that another customer came in, he was about to greet him or her but stopped and smiled shyly upon seeing that person,

 

“Morning hyung”

 

Kyungsoo blushed slightly, in front of him was his boyfriend who was grinning from ear to ear while looking at him, 

 

“M-morning jongin ah”

 

Jongin flashed him a smile and jumped on the seat in front of the counter so he can face kyungsoo, 

 

“Can I get my regular order soo? I’m starving”

 

Kyungsoo nodded and muttered in a small voice

 

“Pancakes with maple syrup and a cup of hot chocolate with whip cream on the top?”

 

Jongin nodded eagerly, and soon kyungsoo started to work on his order, Jongin who was looking at his boyfriend’s serious expression smiled slightly, he always loved to see kyungsoo working so diligently however when the kitchen door got open with jimin coming out, it distracted jongin momentarily and within a few seconds he frowned while looking at Jimin’s expression, usually the latter was always smiling and making a conversation with him but right now he looked so gloomy and this saddened jongin.

 

“Babe?”

 

“Hmm?”

 

“What’s wrong with Jimin? Why does he look so gloomy?”

 

Kyungsoo halted his actions and looked at jimin concernedly, and again averted his eyes to his boyfriend

 

“As usual yoongi is his main problem”

 

Jongin sighed and averted his eyes to Jimin who was now bringing back a cup with yoongi trailing behind him, as soon as yoongi came to pay for his coffee jongin talked to him

 

“Hey Yoongi long time no see. How you doing?”

 

Jongin smiled a little at him, yoongi looked at him blankly and said 

 

“I’m somehow doing great jongin, a rapper’s job is never easy to begin with! How about you and your modelling work?”

 

“Ah I’m great and currently my schedule is so hectic still I came here to meet kyungie before I go as I won’t be in Seoul for one week.”

 

“Oh where are you going?”

 

“I’m going to China for the pre-summer fashion week”

 

“Oh really that’s great. All the best man”

 

“Thanks man”

 

“Yea well I need to go back to the studio. See you soon man”

 

“Yea see ya yoongi”

 

Jongin shook his hand and he could see that yoongi sneakily stole a glance of jimin before walking away. He sighed, he would’ve never thought that these 2 would be so complicated. He mentally noted that after the fashion week kyungsoo he would need to do something for this complicated couple but before talking to kyungsoo he decided to savour the pancakes that his boyfriend just placed in front of him.

 

“Jongin?”

 

While still munching on the pancakes hungrily and sipping his hot chocolate, jongin managed to hum,

 

“D-do you really need to go?”

 

Jongin stopped eating and now looked at his boyfriend who was acting fidgety all a sudden, he sighed, he didn’t want to leave, heck he never wanted to leave kyungsoo’s side this is why he’s been always taking  modelling offers in Seoul only. But this time his manger didn’t give him any choice.

 

“Baby you do realize that I don’t like leaving your side right? But this time I’m helpless when Sehun got to know that the offer was from China he jumped onto the occasion as you know Tao is currently in China and trust the ice prince to go to his little panda whenever there is an opportunity.  But mianhae hyung I tried to persuade him on not going but he was hell bent on going there.”

 

Kyungsoo sighed dejectedly, this Saturday is his café 6th opening anniversary and the idea of Jongin being away from him on this special day made him upset. But he could never be selfish, Jongin works hard to make a name in the fashion industry and he can’t never make his boyfriend do something that will cost him his career

 

“It’s okay nini. I understand”

 

Jongin who now caught the gloomy tone of his boyfriend sighed and leaned forward on the counter while talking hold of kyungsoo’s hand

 

“Babe I know you’re upset that I’ll miss the opening anniversary but trust me I’m feeling really bad for it. But what if I promise you that as soon as I come back home on Sunday we can both celebrate it and I’ll let you do whatever you want on that day?”

 

Kyungsoo gave a gentle squeeze to jongin’s hand and gave him one of his heart-shaped smile

 

“Alright nini you got a deal you better keep your word mister”

 

Jongin grinned and brought their entwined hands up and pecked kyungsoo’s hand

 

“Sure thing baby. And for now thank you for the succulent breakfast I enjoyed it. Now see you after one week.”

 

Kyungsoo nodded and came to the other side of the counter and stood in front of jongin, without wasting time he leaned onto his boyfriend’s chest and hugged him tight, jongin smiled sadly and also wrapped his arms around his boyfriend’s petite figure and hid his face in the crook of the latter’s neck while pecking the soft skin

 

“I’ll miss you jongin”

 

“I’ll miss you too baby. I’ll call you and message you every day okay?”

 

Kyungsoo nodded against jongin’s chest 

 

“Eat properly and sleep on time and also don’t drink more than you can I know you have a low tolerance to alcohol and last thing please be safe.”

 

Jongin chuckled softly, 

 

“Yes baby I’ll take care of myself and I’ll be safe, I’ll eat and sleep properly and also I won’t drink too much.”

 

Kyungsoo nodded and detached himself from his boyfriend,

 

“Have a safe flight baby”

 

And with that he cupped his boyfriend’s face tenderly, Jongin felt his chest hurt with the sight in front of him, currently kyungsoo’s big doe eyes were glistening with tears and he was nipping his lower lip nervously, 

 

“I will. I love you so much kyungsoo”

 

“I know. I love you too so frigging much”

 

Jongin smiled lightly and cupped kyungsoo’s cheeks while pressing his lips against kyungsoo’s soft ones, he was relishing the moment of kissing his boyfriend when a whiny voice broke them apart

 

“Ugh hyungs stop with the Pda thing! Really kissing in the middle of the café in front of me that’s so disgusting”

 

Jongin grinned at Jimin, but still wrapped an arm around kyungsoo’s shoulder

 

“Shut it midget! And yes I expect you to take care of your dudu hyung when I’m not here alright if anything happens to him I’ll be coming to you.”

 

Jimin laughed and nodded, jongin hugged the latter briefly and sneakily stole another kiss from kyungsoo before he ran out. Leaving kyungsoo looking at his retreating back with a wry smile and Jimin patting his hyung shoulder.

It’s been 4 days since Jongin was in China and 4 days since jimin didn’t talk to yoongi. Kyungsoo and he were now closing down the café when Jimin leaped onto the counter with a sigh

 

“Dudu hyung I miss him”

 

Kyungsoo who was placing the cups into the rack turned around and looked at jimin who was pouting slightly while looking his mobile screen

 

“Did he call you or message you”

Jimin sighed and waved his mobile in front of kyungsoo’s face

After kyungsoo read the conversation he glared at Jimin

 

“Why are you such a pabo? Can’t you see he’s doing an effort to talk to you? This shows he cares for you right! What do you want more?”

 

Jimin kept his mobile in his t-shirt pocket and looked at kyungsoo pointedly

 

“He’s not jonginnie hyung. He does not show his affection like jongin hyung does, he doesn’t hold my hand in public, he doesn’t kiss me if I don’t initiate it, and he hardly speaks sweetly to me. Like why the hell should I be the one that gives so much in this relationship when he does not even do anything! Why can’t we be like jonginnie hyung and you? I even ask myself why we’re dating for god sake!”

 

Kyungsoo rolled his eyes in exasperation, without wasting time he punched Jimin on his chest, causing the latter to wince a bit

 

“Jimin are you even listening to yourself? How delusional can you be? Comparing Jongin to Yoongi will not bring any good. Put that right into your brain Yoongi will never be Jongin, no matter how much you will expect him to. They’re both poles apart damn it, I admit that nini can be really touchy feely with me but for god sake Yoongi will never do this. Stop comparing my relationship with yours chimchim. Yoongi is a person who rarely shows his emotions but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you. No matter how tired he is, he always I repeat ALWAYS comes to see you here. He cares for you jimin he really does, maybe you’re too obsessed with the idea of wanting yoongi to be like jongin that you missed those sneaky glances that comes from him, you miss those lingering eyes that follows all your actions, you take for granted the skinship that he does with you and now his messages.”

 

Jimin who listened to kyungsoo attentively began to clasp and unclasp his hands, he never thought about this, maybe he really did take yoongi for granted

 

“B-but hyung why do I feel like he’s not even trying? Why do I feel like I’m the only one who is trying hard to make this relationship work? We’re dating for almost 3 years dudu hyung and to be honest with you there’s hardly been a time where I felt like he willingly did something for me even when we are going on dates he’ll grumble all the way and in the end we hardly enjoy our time together. The majority of his time is dedicated to his work which takes up everything in our relationship. I mean he’s a great rapper, he writes amazing rap verses but this is the only thing he solely lives for. I even bet if I was dying in a hospital he wouldn’t even bother. Because that’s how he is.”

Kyungsoo tightened his gaze at Jimin before sighing as he felt annoyed all a sudden

 

“You know Jimin there’s only thing I’ll tell you if you still count all the flaws of yoongi you’ll never be able to see all the good damn things he does for you. Open your eyes chimchim before it’s too late and you lose such a great person.”

 

After saying this kyungsoo carried all the dirty cutleries and walked towards the kitchen leaving a pouting jimin on the counter.

As soon as kyungsoo got into his apartment, he flopped down onto the couch and retrieved his mobile from his pocket and pressed the home button, there were no notifications from his boyfriend and this was ticking him off. Since jongin went away he only messaged him that he reached china safely and there have been a few exchange of messages and even the phone calls were limited to 1 minute or less. And this was not enough for kyungsoo after all he is used to have jongin being all clingy over him and now suddenly when his boyfriend is not beside him he is feeling empty. 

Leaning his head back on the cushion he thought of the conversation he had with jimin earlier on how jongin was openly affectionate towards him. Kyungsoo smiled sardonically, Jongin was never this affectionate before it’s after they’ve been in a relationship that the latter warmed up to him. While closing his eyes he thought back of the first time he met jongin

Flashback 

It was on a frosty Monday morning where Kyungsoo was hurriedly walking towards his café when he bumped into someone and spilled his morning coffee all over that person’s coat, the said person hissed and pushed him while glaring at him, kyungsoo who was momentarily shocked could only gape at the stranger’s face he noticed that the stranger had one pair of intense honey brown orbs that made him get lost into them.

 

“If you’re ing done gaping at me with your mouth wide open could look at you did to my Saint Laurent coat”

 

 Kyungsoo came out of his reverie and nervously glanced at the coat of the stranger which now had coffee stains all over it, he gasped and tried to bring his hand to the fabric when the stranger slapped his hand away causing him to gasp

 

“What the hell are you doing? You spilled coffee on my expensive coat and now you’re trying to touch it! Why the hell did I have to bump with an idiot like you so early? this you spoiled my mood! I need to get away from you or else I’ll further aggravate my mood and now I ing got to go to a photoshoot like what the hell!”

 

The stranger was about to walk away but kyungsoo caught his arm and nervously guided him to his café, he thanked the almighty that jimin already opened the café, he took the stranger inside and asked him to sit down

 

“C-could you please give me y-your c-coat?”

 

The stranger looked him with a miffed expression

 

“For what? So that you could damage it further?”

 

Kyungsoo shook his head and tentatively spoke

 

“Eh with the help of baking soda the stain will g-go away”

 

Jongin raised his eyebrows and exclaimed

 

“Baking soda on my expensive coat! Are you ing crazy?”

 

Kyungsoo flinched at the harsh tone of the stranger but still managed to maintain his composure and spoke softly

“C-can you p-please trust me? I k-know what to do”

 

The stranger threw a scrutinizing look to kyungsoo but nevertheless took his coat off and handed it to kyungsoo not before warning him that if he further damages it he’s gonna pay for it. Kyungsoo gulped and nodded before dashing into the kitchen. Jongin who was now all alone turned around and glanced at the café, to him it looked very cosy and welcoming, he then looked at the different menu displays which was proposed by the café and he noticed that it was a fusion of western and Asian and he was impressed. After spending approximately 10 minutes looking around kyungsoo finally came back with Jongin’s coat in his hand

 

“Eh here’s your coat”

 

Jongin threw a scrutinizing look at Kyungsoo then at his expensive coat where he noticed that all the coffee stains were now long gone. Without saying anything he hastily snatched his coat from kyungsoo’s hands and put it on him while removing the creases which were found on the fabric.  

 

“Even if you look dumb enough thank you for not ruining my coat. See you again owl eyes”

 

Flashing a last smirk to Kyungsoo, Jongin went out of the café without turning back, and Kyungsoo stood frozen feeling his heart flutter all a sudden by seeing the stranger’s retreating back. But before he could even make a movement he heard a squeal, feeling perplexed he turned around only to see that Jimin was jumping up and down while making some girly squeals

 

“Oh my god I can’t believe it that Kim Kai was here.”

 

“Kim Kai?”

 

Kyungsoo asked feeling unsure by seeing his dongsaeng getting excited all a sudden

 

“Oh my god dudu hyung you’re like a grandpa who isn’t aware of anything happening with this generation! The man who was just here in your café is a model! Kim Kai is one of the youngest models that X company introduced last summer! Didn’t you see the huge billboards plastered all over the city with him on it?”

 

Kyungsoo could only shake his head in a no whilst causing jimin to grumble. Let’s just say that very night kyungsoo went on the web to search for Kim Kai and he couldn’t help to brush away the butterflies that he was feeling in his stomach while seeing the pictures of the model.

End of flashback

Kyungsoo smiled a little as he felt that he was being stupid at that time, glancing at his mobile for the last time he sighed and went to take a shower feeling dejected.

It was finally the day of the opening, kyungsoo and Jimin were busy preparing everything but jimin could notice that his dudu hyung’s was not in his usual energetic mode and for the last 15 minutes the elder was polishing the same cutlery

“Dudu hyung are you okay?”

 

Kyungsoo who came out of his reverie nodded and set the knife aside and took another one knife and began to polish it mindlessly

 

“Hyung seriously what’s wrong? Did jonginnie hyung and you had a fight?”

 

Kyungsoo tensed by hearing the name of Jongin, still he shook his head in a no

 

“No we aren’t fighting per say but he’s not been responding to my messages for the last 2 days and no matter how many times I’m calling him its always reaching to his voicemail. I tried to call Sehun too but he was also not answering. It’s just that I’m worried that something happened to him you know. ”

 

Jimin could see that his favourite hyung was really upset and he couldn’t see him like this especially on the 6th opening anniversary of his café. After thinking for a few seconds he snapped his fingers

 

“Idea! Hyung why don’t we google search him?”

 

Kyungsoo eyes widened in surprise

 

“G-Google search him?”

 

“Yea I mean he’s famous enough so we can search for him on the web you know. Here lemme type his name”

 

Without wasting time Jimin typed ‘Kim Kai’ in the search box and within a few milliseconds a page loaded with Kim kai related stuff appeared, jimin browsed through some of the links provided when something caught his eye it was some news that Dispatch released this morning 

‘Exclusive pictures of: X company’s famous model Kim Kai and model turned actress Jin-aye on a date at Blue Moon Restaurant last night and then heading back to a hotel together.’

Kyungsoo snatched jimin’s mobile and went through the pictures and read the captions written under it, and he could literally feel a massive weight on his chest as soon as he started to view the pictures, it was clearly his Jongin with that actress, they were both holding hands while walking out of the restaurant and they seemed very comfortable with each other. Jimin could see that his hyung’s eyes were glistening with tears and he mentally cursed himself for even suggesting to google search jongin. Without thinking much he grabbed his mobile from kyungsoo’s hands momentarily shocking the other. 

 

There was an awkward silence when kyungsoo cleared his throat and smiled

 

“Come on jimin ah we have an opening awaiting us. We can’t make the customers wait now huh”

 

Jimin watched his hyung walking towards the door and opened it, soon the customers started to come in, thus making both of them occupied. For now jongin’s incident was forgotten as both were preoccupied with the orders.

 

It was only around 23:00 p.m. when jimin went to the door to place the close sign on it, Kyungsoo lifelessly sat on a chair and closed his eyes, jimin started to feel guilty and started to walk towards his hyung where he bowed deeply and tentatively spoke

 

“Hyung mianhae. I shouldn’t have suggested this. I’m extremely sorry hyung please don’t be angry at me”

 

Kyungsoo sighed and held jimin’s hand

 

“Hey pabo chimchim it’s okay. Why are you bowing you dumbo? I mean it’s okay in any case it was bound to happen you know it was too unrealistic to begin with. Kim Kai and I dating like seriously! Till it lasted it was good but now it’s over. So no need to be apologetic jiminnie.”

 

Jimin looked at his hyung who was trying to smile at him but his eyes were full of pain. Without thinking much he hugged his hyung tightly 

 

“I’m sorry hyung.”

 

Kyungsoo chuckled sadly and hugged back the younger while patting his back

 
“It’s okay chim hyung is not mad at you”

 

“Hyung no matter what you’ll always have me okay. I love you dudu hyung”

 

Kyungsoo tightened his arms around jimin and this time he allowed himself to cry.

After consoling a sobbing kyungsoo and accompanying back to his apartment and making sure the elder was carefully tucked in on his bed and was sleeping, Jimin went out and walked towards the park and sat on the bench while cradling his mobile in his hands, he was debating on whether he should call his boyfriend or not but this time he really needed the elder. He pressed the call option and apprehensively brought the device to his ear, after a few beeps the called was answered

 

“Sunshine?”

 

Jimin breathed heavily while listening to the voice of his boyfriend

 

“Sunshine you okay?”

 

“H-hyung”

 

“Sunshine are you okay? Why is your voice quivering? 

 

“H-hyung I-I need y-you here”

 

“Where are you?”

 

“T-the park near dudu’s hyung apartment”

 

“Okay hang on I’m coming”

 

And the call ended, jimin sighed and leaned his head back onto the bench even if his hyung told him he was fine and didn’t blame him for anything he was feeling really guilty. But at the same time he was angry at Jongin for doing this to his hyung. He never thought that the latter could do this to kyungsoo. Like wasn’t it 6 days ago that he was praising their relationship and comparing Yoongi with the latter and now everything felt apart. Like what triggered all this change? He was still lost in his thoughts when he felt an arm wrapping around his shoulder,

 

“Sunshine why are you crying?”

 

He looked up at his boyfriend who now was looking at him with concern written all over his face,

 

“I-I did something bad.”

 

“What did you do? You can tell me I’m not gonna judge you”

 

“I-I think that I broke o-one relationship”

 

Yoongi gasped but nevertheless brought his free hand to jimin’s chubby cheek and cleared the tears with his thumb

 

“Tell me exactly what happened sunshine.”

 

After jimin related everything to yoongi, the latter felt angry,

 

“He cheated on kyungsoo! That son of a how could he! Is kyungsoo fine?”

 

Jimin closed his eyes and whispered

“I was shocked too but I couldn’t look at hyung into his eyes. He is so broken yoongi. I feel so guilty but at the same time I think its better that we saw the truth.”

 

“Listen jimin what you did was purely unintentional but what that bastard did was frigging wrong, it’s better for kyungsoo that he knows the truth now rather than never seeing or knowing anything. So relax okay you did nothing wrong you were just trying to help him”

 

Jimin nodded and then caught hold of yoongi’s hand and twined their fingers together

 

“H-Hyung you’ll never c-cheat on me right?”

 

Jimin could hear yoongi sigh, but the elder squeezed his fingers gently

 

“I know where that mind of yours is going but no! I may be friends with Kai but I’m not like him. Being in a relationship with you was my choice Jimin a choice that I can never regret. The other day you told me that you’re the only one investing in this relationship but no I beg to differ, I may not be very vocal and seem emotionally detach but I care a lot for you Jimin. You know why I call you sunshine it’s because you’re a frigging ray of sunshine that light up my monotonous life. Park Jimin I’m dating you because I love you not because I pity you. I’m not good with emotions and it I’m even worse in expressing them. But I know what I feel for you is love. Jimin you’re the missing piece that my body and I need, with you I learn what is it to smile, to laugh, to feel things properly. So to sum up you’re my sunshine that lights up my way and I need you to survive. And now if you think I’m gonna cheat think again.”

 

Jimin who was listening to his boyfriend’s confession couldn’t help but hug the latter tightly

 

“I love you yoongi. I love you so so much. And thank you”

 

Yoongi chuckled and hugged back his squishy boyfriend 

 

“I love you too sunshine more than you’ll ever know”

 

Jimin nodded and pressed his lips against yooongi’s lips to which the latter responded to it fervently.

The next morning when kyungsoo woke up with a pounding head, he leaned his back against the headboard of his bed, bringing his hands to his temples he began to massage it. All the events of yesterday began to flash in his mind, he trusts Jongin but now with the pictures that he saw, it made him doubt his boyfriend’s love for him. Feeling that his headache will not cease anytime soon he decided to make a cup of coffee to clear his thoughts.

 

While making his way towards the kitchen he heard a knock on the main door of his apartment, he sighed and while padding towards the door he sincerely hoped that it was jimin who came to see him. But unfortunately for him as soon as he opened the door it was his boyfriend who was facing him with a beautiful smile adorning his face. Kyungsoo could only gape at the man in front of him thinking hard why he was here to begin with.

 

“Hey baby”

 

And soon he was engulfed in a tight hug, kyungsoo’s hands were itching to hug his boyfriend back but he didn’t do so, instead he detached himself from the latter, turned around and walked towards the kitchen, he clearly needed some coffee. Jongin who was vexed by his boyfriend lack of enthusiasm towards him followed the elder to the kitchen where he saw him brewing some coffee,

 

“Hyung are you okay?”

 

The latter turned around and gave him a scrutinizing look while raising an eyebrow at him

 

“I don’t know Jongin. What do you think?”

 

Jongin who was baffled by his boyfriend’s bluntness, cleared his throat and asked

 

“Did something happen when I was not here hyung?”

 

“No! Apart from the fact that a certain someone dyed his hair in blonde and made it curly clearly now resembling like his stupid dog’s fur I don’t know what else could happen”

 

“Whoa hold on hyung. What’s with this accusatory tone? I was just trying to ask you if something happened no need to go all crazy over me! When I clearly did nothing wrong”

 

Kyungsoo groaned and dropped his cup on the floor, he pointedly looked at Jongin

 

“You did nothing wrong! Are you ing kidding me Jongin! Where the hell were you for the past 2 days? Why didn’t you respond to my messages or calls? Didn’t you listen to my voicemails? Did you forget that you had a boyfriend that was waiting for you?”

 

Jongin advanced towards his boyfriend feeling equally annoyed by the tone of the latter, he was already tired and rushed to see his boyfriend as soon as his flight landed and instead of cuddling with him and peppering kisses on his face his boyfriend was accusing him

 

“Well excuse me hyung! I know that I didn’t respond to your messages or calls. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t want to call you. My work is really demanding I didn’t even have time to sleep properly or eat. I was so busy in---“

 

“Right! You were busy doing what jongin? Busy going on dates with that actress? Or were you so busy ing her that you forgot that I was here waiting for you like a ing idiot”

 

Jongin could only gasp at what his boyfriend was saying, he was about to speak when the elder cut him

 

“Oh what’s with that shocked face jongin? You thought that I’ll never know about your little escapade? You really disgust me jongin at least you could have some decency in saying that you wanted to break up with me rather than coming here and being all innocent as if you did nothing! For how long you’ve been cheating me behind my back? Huh tell me was she that amazing that our 5 years of relationship meant nothing to you---”

 

Jongin had enough, he grabbed the elder’s shoulder tightly and spoke stiffly 

 

“What the are you talking about Do Kyungsoo? The only person I’ve been ing for the last 5 years is you! How dare you accuse me of cheating on you? Am I that unreliable that you thought I’m going to anyone? And whatever you saw means nothing okay, jin-aye and I were training together before, there were countless times where we walked on the ramp together before she became an actress. Kyungsoo she’s like a big sister to me and she knows that I prefer men instead of women and she’s also aware that I’m in a serious relationship with you as we talked about you that night! We did go to eat together, yes I held her hand as there were some sasaengs harassing her so I only held her hand to protect her from them. And for your information we were staying in the same hotel but different rooms. Now if you excuse me I’m going home! I’m disgusted by the way you think about me. At least trust me a little kyungsoo I’ll never cheat on you I’m so in love with you that this thought never crossed my mind. Anyways I’m going I wanna be alone”

 Jongin released his grip on his boyfriend and was about to walk away when a face was pressed against his back and a pair of arms were wrapped around his waist in order to keep him still

 

“Then why you didn’t respond to my calls or messages?”

 

Jongin sighed and answered

 

“As I said before I didn’t have time for myself, between the rehearsals, the clothes fittings, the ramp walk, interviews and photoshoots I couldn’t do anything. I worked my off for these last 2 days and I barely slept.”

 

“I called Sehun too and he didn’t answer”

 

“Kyungsoo I told you that his sole motive of going to China was to meet Tao. As soon as we reached China he disappeared to meet his panda and I was left alone to manage everything. So if he didn’t answer you that only meant that he was busy humping like bunnies with Tao.”

 

Kyungsoo nodded against jongin’s back

 

“Do you hate me now?”

 

Jongin chuckled humourlessly

 

“No! I can never hate you but I’m hurt with all those allegations you threw at me”

 

Jongin felt kyungsoo tightening his hold around his waist 

 

“Kyungsoo what made you think that I’m going to cheat? Baby don’t you know that you’re the only one for me?”

 

“I-I’m sorry Jongin. I was just insecure about us when I saw those pictures. Y-you guys looked so perfect together that the idea of you g-guys being together felt plausible to me”

 

Jongin detached himself from kyungsoo and turned around to look at his boyfriend who was now looking at the ground, sighing again he cupped the latter’s face he could see that the latter was genuinely feeling apologetic, he closed his eyes and huffed 

 

“Please Kyungsoo have a little faith in what we have together. Put that right into your head that you’re important to me, even if I look great with anyone this is not important. Because that’s the image of Kim Kai with others, it’s the one that is fabricated by the company and the media but Kim Kai is completely different from Kim Jongin. Jongin is only complete when he’s next to Do Kyungsoo. For the world I maybe be kai the charismatic model, the playboy or whatever associated to him but for you its Jongin, the real Jongin who knows that he loves his boyfriend to death and will never hurt him. You Do Kyungsoo got the chance to know the real me. So rest assured that its not gonna change anytime soon okay?”

 

Kyungsoo who began to feel guilty bit his lip but nevertheless held onto jongin’s shirt 

 

“Even if I’ve hurt you. Will you forgive me?”

 

“If you agree to kiss me properly and cuddle with me then yea maybe I can”

 

Kyungsoo smiled a little but nevertheless got on his tippy-toes and pressed his lips against jongin’s plump ones, jongin hummed in delight as he felt his boyfriend kissing him so gently, in return he scooped kyungsoo in his arms thus making the latter hooking his legs around his waist, he soon started to advance towards the bedroom and then lowered kyungsoo on the bed with their lips still attached, after nibbling the lips of kyungsoo and peppering small kisses on those sinful lips he pulled back and placed his forehead against kyungsoo’s forehead

 

“Am I forgiven yet?”

 

Jongin chuckled and leaned back on his back while gathering kyungsoo into his arms and hugging him tight, kyungsoo smiled a little and placed his head against jongin’s chest

 

“Yea you are forgiven baby. Just don’t do this again. If there’s anything bothering you or you wanna ask please just talk to me directly. Don’t go create assumptions in your head and then get so worked up. Can you do that?”

 

“I’m sorry and yes I’ll do so. Same applies to you.”

 

“Okay baby I will for sure. But uh do you really think that I look like monggu with my curls?”

 

Kyungsoo chuckled,

 

“You do. But you look really adorable though.”

 

“Aish! I’m not adorable I’m a fierce man!”

 

“Yea yea whatever! For me you’re looking really adorable and that’s it.”

 

“Tsk tsk things I have to endure from you!”

 

“But you do love me so endure all this”

 

Jongin smiled fondly and pressed a kiss on top of kyungsoo’s head

 

“Yeah I do. I love you a lot kyungie”

 

“And I love you too nini. I missed you a lot for the past 1 week”

 

“Me too baby I missed you too. But hey I’m here now so let’s just catch up the lost time”

 

“Yeah but first sleep you look exhausted babe.”

 

Jongin hummed and close his eyes and mumbled

 

“Soo about the deal that I had with you for the 6th opening anniversary of your café we’ll celebrate it later. Call jiminnie and his grumpy old man. Okay baby?”

 

“Okay jagiya. Now sleep”

 

“Yeah babe just stay with me until I fall asleep”

 
And this what kyungsoo did, he soon began to draw soothing circles over jongin’s chest until he felt the latter breathing lightly, he glanced up an saw that jongin was felt asleep he smiled and detached himself gently from jongin’s grip around his waist, but before leaving the room he tucked jongin properly while placing the comforter over him and pressed a peck on his forehead.

Currently Yoongi and Jimin were both on the couch opposite to the one that Jongin and Kyungsoo were occupying. Jimin was cutely frowning at Jongin and Yoongi was openly glaring at his friend,

 

“What are you doing here dip? Aren’t you done hurting kyungsoo?”

 

“Exactly now what is left for you to hurt dudu hyung?”

 

Jongin frowned and then held kyungsoo’s hand when he heard yoongi hissing at him

 

“What the are you doing Jongin? You cheated on him and now you’re acting like a saint by being lovey dovey with kyungsoo. Leave his damn hand and come outside so I can whip your for hurting such a precious person”

 

Kyungsoo gasped at the intensity of yoongi’s glare on Jongin, but Jongin was unfazed by it, instead he smirked at Yoongi who was still glaring at him, Jimin who was behind yoongi came forward, his eyes were glistening with tears 

 

“How could you hurt my precious hyung Jongin? Don’t you know how hurt he was that he cried? I admit I was the one who suggested to google search you but still how could you cheat on my squishy hyung? Didn’t you think about him before hurting him? All I can is you’ll deserve the kicks or punches that yoongi’s gonna inflict to you. Yoongi ah please take this man outside and make sure that he’ll never come around my hyung or he’ll be able to anyone in the future”

 

Jongin was surprised by the outburst of the minimini couple, while kyungsoo screeched loudly when he saw that yoongi was about grab the collar of jongin, he immediately got in front of Yoongi and exclaimed

“There seems to be a misunderstanding Jongin didn---“

 

“Get away from him dudu hyung! Let yoongi take this matter into his hands”

 

Kyungsoo gasped when he saw Yoongi trying to reach out to Jongin once again he turned around and wrapped his arms protectively around Jongin while cradling the latter’s head against his neck,

 

“Kyungsoo why are you protecting this mother er who cheated on you? Let me give him a lesson that he’ll never forget”

 

Jongin who was in the embrace of his boyfriend wasn’t really scared because he knew that his boyfriend may seem petite but can be surprising given certain situations, he himself experienced that countless times. So he allowed himself to be relaxed as he knew his boyfriend will protect him,

 

“HAJIMA! I SAID STOP THIS BOTH OF YOU! AND LISTEN TO ME!”

 

Yoongi and Jimin gasped in surprise, feeling intimidated by kyungsoo’s tone and glare, Jimin leaned onto his boyfriend’s back and pulled him back on the couch where they both sat quietly, meanwhile jongin who was still in the embrace of his boyfriend didn’t make a move to detach himself from the latter instead he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend’s waist and hugged him.

 

“Right! Like I said there’s a misunderstanding! Jongin never cheated! So stop threatening him! Yoongi and jimin I’m aware that you both are protective towards me but I’m fine. My boyfriend didn’t hurt me, instead it was me who hurt him by putting those disgusting allegations on him”

 

Jongin who felt his boyfriend shudder while saying the last part, tightened his arms around his boyfriend’s waist assuring him that it’s okay and no need to fret about this issue anymore, pecking his boyfriend below his ear, he detached himself from kyungsoo and faced the minimini couple who were holding on each other while sitting obediently on the couch. He took a deep breath and took hold of kyungsoo’s hand and talked

 

“Listen up Jimin and Yoongi I know that you guys were really worried about kyungsoo and hated me for hurting him but trust me I didn’t cheat nor intend to do it. The girl I was with is my sunbaemin and my noona, that night we did went to eat together just to catch up the memories we had during our trainee days. But while coming out there were some sasaengs harassing her so in order to assure her I was here for her I took hold of her hand. And now coming back to us going to the hotel together it’s true we were both lodging in the same hotel BUT we were in different rooms. So don’t worry I won’t hurt my baby not now nor in the near future. I love him too much to ever hurt him”

 

Jongin gave them a reassuring smile and then cupped the face of his boyfriend who was looking at him with adoration and appreciation, 

 

“Jonginnie hyung you’re not lying are you now?”

 

Jongin glanced at Jimin who was now nibbling onto his lower lip and was still frowning, Jongin smiled and approached the younger and ruffled his hair

 

“No jiminnie I didn’t lie. I love your dudu hyung more than you’ll ever know”

 

Jimin gave him a cute eye smile to which jongin responded with a smile, yoongi who witnessed the exchange between his boyfriend and friend snorted causing jongin to eye him weirdly.

 

“Yoongi what’s wrong?”

 

“What’s wrong huh bastard? If ever you hurt him regardless of what you said now I’m going to kill you mercilessly and bury you in my backyard. And I’ll make kyungsoo and sunshine be a witness of this. Mark my words.”

 

Kyungsoo who heard that gasped and pulled back Jongin towards him 

 

“Yoongi be nice!”

 

Jongin snorted and threw an arm around his boyfriend’s shoulder

 

“Don’t worry soo this will never happen nor you’ll witness this scene! Yoongi is too soft hearted and he loves me too much to kill me. Isn’t it Suga baby?”

 

Yoongi groaned and flicked his middle finger to jongin who in return laughed heartily. And like this their Sunday evening went on smoothly a few jokes were shared between the 4 of them and after their dinner they both cut a cake for the café anniversary. And when yoongi and jimin went back home, jongin helped his boyfriend to clean up the apartment and then dragged his boyfriend to bed. But before sleeping he kissed his boyfriend passionately and they both exchanged some sweet nothings and I love yous’ before finally drifting to sleep.
