It was just another normal day in high school, with same seats, same ‘classmates’, the same homeroom teacher, the same boring lectures and nothing eventful. However, there was something eventful that happened in class that day. A new transfer student was introduced and he created a buzz as soon as he made his first appearance in class, making the girls go ‘ohhhhhh he’s so handsome!’.  He introduced himself as Kim something. Kyungsoo didn’t really pay attention as he knew that popular kids here, don't talk with people like him.

 

Kyungsoo readjusted his glasses and looked outside the window, when

 

“Do!”

 

Huh? He averted his eyes to his homeroom teacher. The teacher pointed at him. He stood up nervously and looked at him with a confused expression.

 

“He is Do! You may sit next to him for today.”

 

The Kim kid nodded and advanced towards kyungsoo with a small smile on his lips. To be honest how can someone be like handsome like him, he’s got sun kissed skin, perfect height, beautiful eyes, curly haphazard brown fluffy hair and his lips why are they so plump? Ah no! what is he doing! Analysing his face!  Avoid him kyungsoo! Avoid him! Kyungsoo rapidly sat down on his seat and again looked outside hoping that as soon he settles down next to him  he won’t start a conversation! But to his unfortunate luck he talked in a perfect voice that made something fuzzy grow in his chest,

 

“Ermh hello, I’m Kim Jongin, but you can also call me kai”

 

Kyungsoo sighed and turned to look at him, and damn...he’s flawless like god what the hell!

 

“H-hello k-kai I’m kyu-kyungsoo-o”

 

Kyungsoo  mentally face palmed myself for shuttering just by seeing Jongin's face. But that guy smiled at him.

 

“So kyungsoo how are you?”

 

“F-fine I guess and you?”

 

“Feeling awkward but now its okay since I got a sitting partner who is cute enough to make the awkwardness go away!”

 

Cute! Kyungsoo was sure that his eyes doubled in size. Is he blind or making fun of him again? He decided to ignore him and pay attention to what the homeroom teacher was saying,

 

“Kyungsoo!”

 

Kyungsoo turned to look at him, Jongin was pouting slightly, which was too cute to see! He sighed and said

 

“Talk to me I’m bored!”

 

“No! Listen to the teacher!”

 

“But he’s so boring! And I’m getting sleepy! And I don’t want to sleep in class for the first day itself!”

 

“You’re complicated kid!”

 

He puffed his cheeks slightly and slightly glared at Kyungsoo.

 

“Hey! I’m not a kid! We’re in same class duh! We’re all the same age here!”

 

Kyungsoo raised his eyebrows at him which made Jongin gasp,

 

“You’re elder than me?”

 

Kyungsoo nodded carefully,

 

“But you look young! God! How old are you?”

 

“19!”

 

“No! How come you’re still here then?”

 

“Can’t I repeat a year? Just because I look like a nerd doesn’t mean that I’m the almighty of intelligence! You know!”

 

Jongin looked scandalized by the sudden outburst,

 

“No! Hyung I didn’t mean to offend you I was just curious, I’m sorry.”

 

He really looked apologetic, as his eyes were open wide and his lips were tightly pursed, he really looked like a puppy who was being reprimanded. And honestly Kyungsoo didn’t have the heart to be angry at him,

 

“It’s okay kai-ah! You wouldn’t have known in any case. Now can we please follow the lecture? Mrs Kwang, our history teacher is frigging scary when you don’t follow her class. So no talking to me please!”

 

Jongin looked at him and nodded with a smile on his face. Seconds later, Mrs Kwang came and started her lecture on the ancient explorers or something like that, from the corner of his eyes Kyungsoo could see Jongin scribbling on a piece of paper and then threw it on his desk. He rolled his eyes and looked at the note and was shocked

 

‘Kyungsoo hyung can we hang out for lunch? (^-^;)’

 

Seriously this kid! What does he want? Still Kyungsoo briefly glanced at him and nodded, and rapidly averted his attention to Mrs Kwang not before missing that dazzling smile that Jongin gave me.

 

Soon it was the lunch break and Kyungsoo really thanked the bell this time this class was so boring and hectic for his brains, he glanced towards jongin, the latter was already looking at him with a smile,

 

“Hyung!”

 

“Really now hyung huh?”

 

“Don’t you want me to call you hyung?”

 

He was surprised, kyungsoo  brushed it off and nodded

 

“You can! Now can we go to the canteen I’m hungry!”

 

He nodded excitedly and soon they made their way to the canteen but before going Kyungsoo caught the nasty glare of the other students. After taking their trays the 2 of them moved to a table in the far corner, a way for them to avoid attention.

 

“So hyung if you don’t mind can you tell me why you repeated a class? I mean you look like the studious type and actually pays attention to their education.”

 

Kyungsoo went stiff, mentally debating whether to tell him the truth or not

 

“Kai-ah! What I’m going to tell you in the next minutes can change the whole perception that you have on me there are chances that you’ll be disgusted by me.”

 

Jongin nodded cautiously, while keeping his attention on kyungsoo who was fiddling his fingers nervously, Kyungsoo sighed and talked in a barely audible tone

 

“I was bullied because I am gay and my supposedly boyfriend left me when I needed him the most. So I had a breakdown and couldn’t cope with my education. But now I’m stronger than ever and decided to start all over again”

 

All this time, jongin was frowning Kyungsoo was afraid that he would have a disgusted look but no, instead he reached out for his hand and held it

 

“Kyungsoo hyung why did you think that I’ll be disgusted by you? I know we live in a conservative country but that doesn’t mean I’m not open minded. My childhood friend is the same as you and it never occurred to me that I should be disgusted by you people. Hyung even if I don’t know you personally I know that you are a good person, studious and heck so damn cute. I’ll never be disgusted by you, so you may relax okay. You’re my friend I’ll never judge you. And to those who bullied you, are just stupid retards so don’t bother same goes to your stupid ex, I’m glad you were able to come out stronger hyung. I’m happy I met you today and shared your problem with me. Thank you for trusting me.”

 

Kyungsoo let out a shaky breath and squeezed his hand a little, and in return he was granted a beautiful smile. And Kyungsoo afraid to say that he, Do Kyungsoo actually fell for this guy, Kim Jongin whom he barely knew for 5 hours and no he doesn’t regret it.

It’s been a little more than 4 months that jongin and Kyungsoo got to know each other, and since then they’ve been inseparable, what Kyungsoo means is that they’ve gotten more accustomed to each other, his feelings for Jongin grew more and more day by day, but he kept it for himself. During these 4 months some things changed, well Jongin was still his sitting partner, and from time to time he was staying over at his apartment, yes apartment as when Kyungsoo did his come out to his parents they couldn’t digest the fact that their kid was homoual so they threw him out. Since then he's been working as a part timer in a café and managed to find a low rented apartment.

 

But now coming back to Jongin, Kyungsoo got to know that the kid is an awesome dancer, his dance is so breath-taking, he’s good in sports, good in studies, loves puppies and have 3 back home and his addiction to chicken really frightens him. But apart from that he’s got like a split personality thingy, when he dances he seems so mature, y and manly but when he’s not, he’s clumsy as hell, childish and may Kyungsoo admit that he acts like a lost puppy most of the time which is  really endearing. But also during these 4 months he’s gotten more popular than ever, girls dies to go out with him, and recently he’s been getting many confessions, but when he asked him about it he’s always been invasive about it, though Kyungsoo dare to admit that falling for Jongin has its bad side too, he's getting his share of pain silently

 

“Kyungie hyung!”

 

He turned around and saw Jongin rapidly walking towards him, he managed to give him a smile and waited for the latter, and as soon as he approached him, he wrapped an arm around kyungsoo's shoulders

 

“Thank god I saw you here, I’ve got to tell you an amazing news!”

 

“Okay so I suppose KFC is currently having a promotion on its chicken wings and you’re dying to buy it”

 

He whined and cutely glared at kyungsoo

 

“Hyuuuuuunng! Everything I say is not about chicken okay! Ugh! Whatever! You remember I told you about my childhood friend right?”

 

Kyungsoo nodded cautiously,

 

“Well he’s currently coming to my place today! God I’m so impatient to meet him! So I wanted to ask you if you’re willing to come at my place in the afternoon so I can introduce you to him”

 

“Are you sure jongin?”

 

“Yes hyung if I wasn’t I wouldn’t have asked you! So are you up for it?”

 

“I have no shift today so umm yea I can come!”

 

“Ahhh! Really! Thanks hyung! I’m sure you guys will get along”

 

Kyungsoo secretly nodded hoping thT Jongin's friend and him will get along.

And soon Jongin and him were walking towards his house, they were both contemplating the silence when Kyungsoo remembered that he doesn’t really know anything about the childhood friend and he  doesn't  want to look like an idiot in front of the said friend.

“Jongin?”

 

“Hmm hyung?”

 

“Tell me about your childhood friend!”

 

He seemed excited, he clapped his hands and began to talk

 

“Well he’s a giant, a real giant! He somehow got a baby face but don’t be surprised by his voice. He is really hyper and literally laughs at everything. His nickname is Yoda as he's got elf ears. To sum up he’s always been there for me but last year he moved to Busan where he met his boyfriend, from time to time we meet during school breaks and yea now he’s coming to see us! Apparently he’s planning to move back here for good. That’s why I’m excited to have my friend back, I really missed him.”

 

Kyungsoo smiled a little as he understood how it feels when you have someone here for you, he always felt this connection with his elder brother Xiumin, but since he moved to China 3 years ago, they didn’t really talked as the latter was busy with his work, and now the communication is practically non-existent since Kyungsoo left his parents’ house.

“Hyunnng!”

 

“Huh?”

 

“Where are you lost?”

 

“Oh nothing I was just thinking that you must really love your friend!”

 

“Haha! Yea obviously…. Ahh hyung he’s here”

 

And with that jongin ran towards a tall lanky man and squealed happily, within seconds the other turned around and engulfed him in a friendly hug. Kyungsoo tried his best not to feel jealous. Kyungsoo swore that he wasn't jealous he tried to pacify himself by stating mentally  that it’s simply Jongin's childhood friend and on top of that he’s got a boyfriend. Kyungsoo cautiously walked towards them, where they were laughing loudly, then jongin noticed him and said enthusiastically

 

“Ah hyung, this is chanyeol and yoda this is kyungsoo hyung. Mind you kyungie he is older”

 

Kyungsoo smiled and brought his hand forward

 

“Hello chanyeol hyung pleased to meet you.”

 

The said man had a scrutinizing gaze on him, then he smacked jongin on his back, causing the latter to stumble forward,

 

“God! Kkamjong look at how squishy he is! How can somebody be so cute? And look at his small height and squishy body! He is just so adorable. Ah! I got something for you! Kyungsoo! I shall call you squishy and you shall be mine.”

 

And with that the tall giant engulfed kyungsoo tightly in a hug,  the latter tried to push him away but he couldn’t Chanyeol was so strong,

 

“Chanyeol stop squeezing kyungsoo! He’ll die of suffocation.”

 

And soon enough the guy released kyungsoo. He took a deep breath and was somehow shocked. Who the hell hugs you on the first meeting and dare call you squishy, adorable and cute! What the hell? Kyungsoo mentally noted that he won't like the giant, he’s in the top list of people to dislike! Soon, the 3 got inside and kyungsoo was really looking forward to eat the food that jongin’s mother cooks, it reminds him of his mum, well not that he will say that out loud. After exchanging the greetings the 3 of them moved to the living room, jongin and chanyeol sitting on the couch and Kyungsoo opposite to them,

 

“So kyungsoo! How old are you?”

 

He looked at the giant whose pearly teeth were out, it kinda creeped him out

 

“Uh 19!”

 

“Oh well you look much younger than that!”

 

And soon jongin joined in the conversation

 

“Ahaha yes I also told him the same when we first met! Right hyung?”

 

Kyungsoo nodded remembering their first meeting,

 

“Ah by the way jongin krystal is also coming back”

 

Kyungsoo noticed that jongin momentarily got stiff on the couch, and chanyeol somehow looked apologetic for bringing that person’s name up. And by seeing their expressions Kyungsoo got curious to know who krystal is?

 

“Oh really! That’s uh great I guess”

 

Jongin scratched the back of his head and then directly looked at Kyungsoo, he flashed a smile at the latter but by now Kyungsoo could make the difference between a fake smile and his real smile and this one was so fake.

 

“Yes it’s great! As soon as she got to know we’re moving back to Seoul she wanted to come back too! Mom couldn’t really stop her. But I guess you guys...“

 

“Chan can we talk about this later on! Tell me about your boyfriend! How does he feel about you moving back here? Did you guys break up or something?”

 

“Lord! No! I’ll never break up with my baekyunnie! Well he’s coming here too! We’re both moving in an apartment together! And guess what my parents agreed! I’m so happy!”

 

And with that the giant began to laugh, jongin joined him too, but what was bothering Kyungsoo was who was krystal and what is her relation with jongin? And why did jongin stop chanyeol from talking about it now? Was she his girlfriend or something? And now she’s coming back will she take jongin away from him? Kyungsoo could feel his heart getting stabbed over and over again.

After having dinner with the Kims it was time for Kyungsoo to go home, and as usual Jongin said he’ll come over tonight, chanyeol left long ago claiming he has to help his parents to put back the furniture in their house. Currently jongin and him were walking silently on the dimly lit streets, Kyungsoo was dying to ask him who was krystal but at the same time he was scared of the answer. Soon they reached his apartment, jongin plopped down on the couch while he went in the kitchen to make some tea. After a few minutes he came with 2 cups and handed one to Jongin, he tentatively sat next to him, and glanced at him from the corner of his eyes, the latter was sipping his tea cautiously.Kyungsoo took a deep breath and decided that he was going to ask him. He cleared his throat and said cautiously

 

“Jongin-ah?”

 

“Hmm?”

 

“W- Who is kry-krystal?”

 

Here we go again, the same reaction that he had with chanyeol, he kept his cup on the table and looked at kyungsoo

 

“Why do you want to know her hyung?”

 

Something in his tone made kyungsoo feel anxious, he cleared his throat and mumbled

 

“It’s just than when chanyeol hyung brought up her name you seemed off about it so---“

 

“So you wanted to know why I was acting like this am I right?”

 

Kyungsoo nodded slightly, Jongin sighed and fisted his hands over his thighs and said

 

“She’s chanyeol’s sister”

 

“And?”

 

“And what hyung? Why do you want to know that?”

 

“well I’m sorry for being concerned okay! You seemed off about it so I just wanted to know what was wrong! Why are you getting on the defensive all a sudden?”

 

He glared at kyungsoo and said

 

“Me getting on the defensive! Hyung you’re the one who made me do it! Don’t you know that there’s something called privacy and you shouldn’t pry into it when somebody doesn’t want to talk or seem evasive about it! It’s like you’re invading my private space! Stop it”

 

Kyungsoo was shocked by the accusaion, who is this jongin right now he doesn’t seem to know him! Where is the jongin who said no secrets between them?

 

“I-I was just concerned jongin ah. I’m sorry for asking.”

 

He sighed and got up

 

“You know what I’m going home! I’ve had enough for tonight! See you tomorrow.”

 

And with that he went away while banging the door, Kyungsoo sat on the couch without moving, what the hell just happened? One thing he was sure is that there’s a long story between jongin and Krystal. And it was something which ended badly. But his behaviour right now really hurt him, without knowing tears were sliding down his cheeks and all he could think about was how to make his heart stop hurting. He cleared his tears and mentally noted to avoid jongin tomorrow unless he wants to talk to him as he's afraid that  Jongin will get angrier at him.

As expected, jongin was not talking to him nor looked at him, yes he was sitting next to him but he made sure that he won’t talk to to kyungsoo and this went on like this the whole day, and without knowing the whole week went by. Jongin made sure to avoid him and didn’t even spare a glance at him, and to say that this didn’t hurt Kyungsoo was an understatement.

 

However today something happened, a new transfer student came in class today, she was short, got fair skin, had long wavy hair and overall she was beautiful, but what shocked Kyungsoo more was when she introduced herself

 

“Hello everyone I’m Park Krystal, hope we all get along.”

 

Kyungsoo rapidly glanced at jongin, the latter was already looking tensed, and now Kyungsoo knew  that she was the krystal who left an impact on jongin. Soon enough the whole class got along with her, she seemed to be a real nice girl and kind to everyone, during the break she came towards them and looked at jongin

 

“Hello jongin oppa, how are you?”

 

“Fine krystal and you?”

 

“I’m good! Oppa who is he?”

 

For the first time in 1 week and 3 days jongin looked at him,

 

“He is kyungsoo!”

 

“Oh your friend?”

 

“Yea you can say that.”

 

Kyungsoo could feel a thousand stabs in his heart again, what the hell was this answer? Nevertheless he managed to give her a smile

 

“Hello krystal. I’m kyungsoo nice to meet you.”

 

She smiled at me,

 

“Nice to meet you too oppa! Let’s get along and become friends”

 

And Kyungsoo nodded, then again she turned her attention to Jongin and was talking to him animatedly, and Jongin was smiling at whatever she was saying, and Kyungsoo knew this smile, it was the same smile he had when he looked at Hani from EXID in interviews and videos. Kyungsoo felt like he was third-wheeling, so he got up and for the first time in 4 months he was about to have his lunch alone.

And from now on the distance between Jongin and Kyungsoo grew day by day, krystal and him were again getting along, like there was nothing wrong between them. Kyungsoo felt like he became an invisible person for Jongin as he was least bothered about him. There were rumours circulating that the 2 of them were dating and kyungsoo didn’t find that surprising as they really get along well since she appeared. Kyungsoo was trying to force himself to move on from the feelings that he has for jongin. The nights spent in his apartment were getting painful and utterly lonely he couldn’t sleep properly as his mind was stuck on Jongin, he missed having him over, where he was laughing freely while watching pororo, he missed seeing the latter eat like he didn’t eat for days, he missed seeing jongin's adorable sleeping face. Kyungsoo missed him overall! But it’s not like he can do anything about it right,  as if jongin is happy with her so he will have to accept the sad reality of the situation.

 

Today was no different as usual after school Kyungsoo went to the café to take his usual shift, but before he could move to the front counter his boss asked him to come in his office,

 

“Hello Suho hyung”

 

“Ah hi kyung. Sit down”

 

Which he did,  Suho looked at him while twirling his pen

 

“Kyung are you okay?”

 

“Yes hyung I’m okay”

 

“Uh-huh! Yixing told me that you looked like a zombie these past few days! And he’s concerned you know, I am also concerned about you kyungie! Please tell hyung if you’re having any problems we’ll always be here for you.”

 

Kyungsoo nodded, he knew how much his 2 hyungs were worried about him, they are both a couple who runs the café he works, and when they knew about his story they immediately gave him all the attention that was needed, they acted like his parents and were protective when it came to him.

 

“Yea hyung I would let you know”

 

Suho nodded, and soon Kyungsoo went to change into his uniform and went to the counter where he met yixing hyung and sehun who were already working,

 

“Ah hello kyungie”

 

“Hello hyung”

 

“Ready to work?”

 

“Yep!”

 

And with that the 3 of  them carried on to work, 30 minutes later, jongin and krystal walked in hands in hands in the café, they were chatting animatedly about something, all this time Kyungsoo felt a bile rising in his chest, he was suddenly was suffocated, nevertheless he manged to have a neutral expression when they approached him, jongin briefly glanced at him and then turned his attention to krystal,

 

“What will you order babe?”

 

Babe? His girlfriend? Jongin’s girlfriend? So it was true then. Kyungsoo felt like he's been heartbroken before even confessing anything. It’s not like he owns jongin or something! He is not straight but Jongin is, a relationship between them would've been non-existent and too much to ask in this real world.

 

“Oppa are you okay?”

 

Kyungsoo wasn't okay! How can he be? The person he's got feelings for is here with his girlfriend! What sort of stupid fate do he have.

 

“Y-Yes krystal what can I get for you?”

 

She smiled and then clung onto jongin’s arm,

 

“Hot chocolate and a coffee please”

 

“Is that all?”

 

“Yes oppa”

 

Kyungsoo nodded and registered their order on the machine, he passed the order to yixing and in return he got a knowing look that said you-and-i-will-have-a-serious-talk-after this. Yixing passed them their orders, and they took it and went in the far corner of the shop, but they were still in kyungsoo's peripheral vision, they were sitting close without any spaces between them, and out of nowhere Jongin pressed his lips against krystal’s lips, and this was it Kyungsoo strong façade crumbled down, the bile that was in my chest slowly came up and he lost it, he began to cry silently, in his blurring vision he saw jongin looking at him, but before he could comprehend anything he felt a hand grabbing his arm

 

“Sehun take over! We’ll be back in a few minutes.”

 

And with that Kyungsoo was dragged in the back of the café, he trusted the person who dragged him, and soon he felt a pair of arms hugging him while rubbing his back comfortingly,

 

“It’s okay kyungie it’s okay! Cry all that you want! Hyung is here! Hyung got your back”

 

And finally he let all the pent up emotions, insecurities, pain and frustration that he held in come out.

After the café episode, yixing and suho took him to their apartment, they didn’t question him instead they allowed Kyungsoo to take his time, they asked him to freshen up and as he came out suho handed him a cup of hot chocolate, he held the cup tightly against his palms feeling its warmth spreading through through his body,

 

“Kyungie?”

 

He looked up and saw that his 2 hyungs giving him the concerned looks, he sighed and spoke

 

“After hyunsik, I promised myself that I’ll never fall for a straight guy again but I guess I couldn’t help it! Jongin had to come along make me feel special and then as soon as his I don’t where from girlfriend comes back, he left me like a used toy. But I can’t even blame him he never knew that I have feelings for him! And he’s straight for crying out loud how could I make the same mistake twice! And this time it’s worse! It’s worse hyung I want it to stop. I don’t want to have any feelings, please make it stop I’m tired! I can’t be hurt again! Please hyung please! I don’t want to be depressed like I was before! Please help me! I don’t want to make jongin feel disgusted by me! I don’t want him to hate me! Heck I just want to be happy why can’t I be happy! Why can’t I have my share of happiness! Why did hyunsik leave me alone when he knew I needed him the most! Why? Why do my parents hate me, hyunsik hates me, and now jongin even does! I’m so repulsive...I’m so--”

 

And again he began to cry helplessly, Kyungsoo was desperate and needed to let go but it’s difficult too difficult, both of his hyungs held him close, trying to calm him down, suho held his head and patted it with affection,

 

“Kyungie baby, its okay you have Yixing and me, we love you. You’re not repulsive, you’re our sweet baby soo whose smile brightens our days, whose laughter makes everything better. You’re our happiness okay, never say that everyone hates you, your parents are just people who are not open minded and couldn’t see the gem of a son that they have, and hyunsik is an idiot to let you go, he was afraid Soo, he was afraid when it was time to announce that you guys were together, he just didn’t have the guts to accept it and make it official in front of people! He was such a coward Soo. And Jongin even if I don’t know him much he’ll come around baby! But if he doesn’t, it does not mean that there’s not somebody for you out there! Just be patient. Don’t belittle yourself like this!”

 

“Yes kyungie we love you! Never say you’re disgusting or repulsive! You’re not , and like Joonie said you’re special! Please Soo be strong. We’ll always be here for you”

 

Suho cleared his tears and then gave him a small smile, Kyungsoo clung onto him and hugged him tight.

After crying and crying for how many hours and days, Kyungsoo was too mentally bruised to go to school, so he stayed back in Sulay couple's apartment, like they promised, they were always here for him, Yixing bought all his favourite food and even cooked for him to cheer him up, while Suho was like a mother to him, he hugged him, took care of him and even tried to make him sleep. During his sleepless nights Kyungsoo came to the point that he’ll act like nothing happened between jongin and him. He got only got 2 months of school and then he’ll be graduating soon, so he’ll just concentrate on his studies, work hard and then go to university or even find some work to do.

 

“kyungie baby?”

 

Kyungsoo removed the comforter from his face and sat against the headboard of the bed, Suho came inside the room with his angelic smile adorning his face, he touched his forehead and said in a concerned tone

 

“How are you feeling sweetie?”

 

Kyungsoo smiled a little and said

 

“I’m fine hyung, don’t worry I know Yixing hyung and you are not able to have your y time as I’m third wheeling. But I’ll be going home tonight, you guys can catch up.”

 

He punched me lightly on him shoulder and was blushing at little. Kyungsoo smiled more, it always amazes him how Suho can be flustered just by the name of Yixing hyung.

 

“Gosh you know it’s not like that! Just so you know Xing called me at least 5 times in the last hour to ask me if you’re okay! He’s like a concerned dad when it comes to you.”

 

“And you are like the concerned momma who needs to protect her kid! Not that I’m complaining! I love you guys”

 

He smiled and hugged him tight,

 

“Okay I’m flattered enough and I love you too! But that doesn’t mean you’re not going to school today! You didn’t go for 3 days! Now get up! I made breakfast! And don’t be late, I’ll be dropping you though.”

 

Kyungsoo nodded and went to the washroom to get ready, after having a light breakfast, Suho dropped him to school.

As soon as Kyungsoo got in his class, he noticed that Jongin was already seated at his usual place, and krystal was beside him talking, he casually walked towards them and took his seat that ktrystal just vacanted upon seeing his arrival,

 

“Oppa good morning. Are you okay?”

 

Kyungsoo looked at her, and smiled

 

“Good morning krystal. I’m good and you?”

 

“I’m good too! Oppa where were you for the past 3 days?”

 

Kyungsoo got a bit tensed thinking about what happened the last few days, nevertheless he replied

 

“I wasn’t feeling fine. But now I’m okay.”

 

All this time Jongin was looking at krystal’s face, kyungsoo knew that he was least bothered about him, so he decided to make things easy for Jongin and him

 

“krystal how about we switch places?”

 

Both of them looked at him surprised, Kyungsoo brushed it off with a wave of hand,

 

“You guys are a couple so yea I thought instead of Jongin sitting here with me he should be with his girlfriend. Don’t you think so?”

 

“Oh oppa thanks a lot!”

 

Kyungsoo smiled, and then got up,

 

“You may take your things and come here krystal. I’ll go and sit next to Sunggyu.”

 

And with that Kyungsoo walked away, he could feel Jongin's eyes on his every move but it is a bit too late to back out. He went next to Sunggyu and sat down, the latter smiled at him and he smiled back,

 

“Morning hyung”

 

“Morning Sunggyu.”

 

“I guess you missed a few notes since the past 3 days right?”

 

 

Kyungsoo nodded, Sunggyu smiled and handed him his notes

 

“Ah but hyung the calculus notes are at my place how about I give it to you after school. You still live in your apartment right?”

 

Kyungsoo yet again nodded, Sunggyu was hyunsik’s best friend and when he knew that they were dating he immediately accepted it and was genuinely happy for them, but when hyunsik left him, he still stayed friends with Kyungsoo stating that what his best friend was wrong and he wanted to be there for jyungsoo like a brother. But still Kyungsoo avoided talking to him in class because he was embarrassed to show his face to him after the hyunsik episode.

 

And like this the day went on smoothly even though  from time to time he heard the giggles of krystal and it made his stomach churn in  a bad way. Luckily for Kyungsoo today he had not shifts, so he could go back home and relax a bit. Sunggyu already told him he’ll be at his place around 18:00 p.m. As soon as Kyungsoo reached home, he cleaned a bit and then plopped on the bed for a nap. However after which felt an eternity he woke up with the non-stop pounding and the shrill of the doorbell on the front door, he glanced at his mobile screen it was only 17:50! Is sunggyu early? He rapidly dashed towards the door and opened it and to his complete surprise it was Jongin, panting slightly

 

“W-What are you doing here?”

 

He said nothing but came inside while dragging him, Kyungsoo tried to pry his hand from the grip but he wasn’t letting go of his hand 

 

“Hey! Hey jongin leave my hand! What the hell are you doing here?”

 

Jongin left his hand and then looked at him with an annoyed gaze,

 

“What was that stupid act of kindness of letting krystal sit next to me in class hyung?”

 

“Are you crazy jongin? You can’t just barge in someone’s house for such a trivial thing! She’s your girlfriend! It’s as simple as that I let her sit next to you!”

 

“Did I ask you to do it? If I wanted I would have ing asked you! But you just had be so foolishly kind and give her your seat.”

 

“What the hell jongin? Why are you confusing me more? Its just a change of seat and in any case it shouldn’t bother you right you’ve been ing avoiding me since the past 2 weeks! 2 weeks ago you were acting as if you were dreading over her and now 2 weeks later you’re dating her! And of course it’s none of my ing business to begin with right! I’ve got no right to pry into your private life if I remember correctly!”

 

Jongin looked at him with an unreadable expression.

 

“Why did you cry in the café while looking at us kissing?”

 

Kyungsoo gasped but regained his composure

 

“None of your business!”

 

“It’s my business right hyung! You were crying when you looked at us! Or should I say when I kissed her! Did I hurt your feelings huh hyung?”

 

“W-what?”

 

He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and then advanced towards him, kyungsoo slowly was backing away from him,

 

“Oh come on hyung! Do you think that I’m that blind that I couldn’t see that you have feelings for me? I guess I knew it all along but that night when you asked me about krystal it confirmed my doubts. So you do love me huh kyungie?”

 

By now Kyungsoo's back was pressed against the wall, and jongin placed his hands on the wall, to stop his from escaping, he pursed my lips to bit back his anger,

 

“So what if I have feelings for you? What you gonna do huh? Embarrass me in front of the whole school, make fun of me, and bully me so that I feel disgusted of myself all over again! You know what Jongin with your sick attitude I even wonder why I fell for you? Because when I like or befriend someone I never use them as an option or a toy! I value the people in my life and I guess I just wasted time on an  like you! You just had to come along, befriend me, make me have those ing  useless feelings and when the love of your life comes back, you just left me liked a used toy that you got tired of playing with! I feel like crying for you was such a stupid thing to do! Having feelings for you is just so sickening! If you have a little self-respect Jongin just leave my apartment like that night and continue to avoid me like you’ve been doing for the past few weeks! I don’t want to talk to someone like you!”

 

But instead of leaving Jongin hugged him tight, which left Kyungsoo bewildered

 

“Hyung please d-don’t shut me down like this! I’m sorry for my attitude I didn’t mean to hurt you! I’m really sorry! I didn’t want this to happen! Hyung I thought I was over her, when I saw you for the first time I felt something for you and when I got to know you, your little behaviours that is so endearing, your cleaning OCD, your passion for cooking I felt like I had feelings for you hyung! That day when Chanyeol came I was planning to confess to you,  and asking you if we can try going out, but then I began to question myself hyung, I didn’t know if I really liked you, I was so angry at myself for being confused and you questioning me wasn’t helping me so I behaved like an with you I’m sorry hyung but it was hurting me to see you looking at me and expecting me to glance at you or atleast acknowledge yor presence I didn’t do it I was adamant on proving myself that I didn’t like you. And then krystal came back, I didn’t think twice and again started going out with her, just to make myself forget these feelings for you I forced myself to forget the fact that krystal cheated on me. But I couldn’t hyung pretending to love her is making me weak and sick day by day. I can’t do it hyung! Please forgive me, please, please forgive me hyung, I’m begging you! Let us start our relationship on a new level. I want to be with you hyung, not being with you each day is making me anxious! I love you kyungsoo! I really do! I do! Don’t tell me to go away! I’ll stop being an ! I just want to be with you---“

 

Kyungsoo was shocked by the sudden confession, right now Jongin was a sobbing mess, he pushed him away, feeling his own tears sliding down his face

 

“Hy-hyung?”

 

“You expect to me love you after you’ve hurt me so much! What do you take me for an idiot? How could you hurt me? How could you make me feel so miserable? I swear I never felt like this after hyunsik left! It didn’t hurt this much, but you hurt me so much jongin that I don’t even want to see your face---“

 

He came towards him and cupped his face,

 

“Hyung please don’t say that! Please don’t push me away! I love you kyungsoo! Please”

 

Kyungsoo pushed his hands away from his face

 

“Let me complete what I have to say, even if you’ve hurt me how can I push you away and say that I don’t want to see your face when I long to be with you? I love you jongin! I love you too! But before starting anything clean the mess you started! I wouldn’t want to date a two timer. I just need you for myself. And if you dare do this avoiding and hurting thing again I will honestly forget who you are and leave you okay! And I wouldn’t think twice about it! No second chances alright!”

 

He cleared his tears and nodded,

 

“Yes hyung I will clean my mess! Thank you for accepting me, thanks for forgiving me I love you so much!”

 

And with that he came towards Kyungsoo and pecked his cheek, and hugged him, without thinking much Kyungsoo also hugged him back enjoying this moment, but that was cut short when they heard someone cleaning his throat, Kyungsoo backed away from the hug and saw Sunggyu looking at them awkwardly from the door way, Kyungsoo instantly blushed when Jongin hugged him from behind, he tried to push him away but he didn’t budge

 

“I didn’t mean to stop this emotional and oh so cheesy or whatsoever confessions! But yes I brought your notes hyung! I’m just gonna leave them on the counter! But before going i‘m going to tell you that I’m so happy for you kyungsoo hyung you deserve this happiness especially after what hyunsik did. Just be happy with that guy alright? But if he hurts you I’m going to kick him in his precious jewels alright! Now see ya on Monday hyung.”

 

And with that he smiled at us and left, Kyungsoo let out a sigh and turned back to look at jongin, he was smiling

 

“Hyung you’re mine!”

 

“Nope! Not yet!”

 

And he pouted. And aww how Kyungsoo missed this cute sight.

It’s been nearly 2 months since Jongin and him got together, and each day was so amazing, Kyungsoo never knew that the latter could be so cheesy, but apart from that he personally took Kyungsoo with him and they went to meet krystal, Jongin explained to her that he couldn’t be with her anymore as he couldn’t get over the fact that she cheated, to which she replied that she knew something was off when jongin ‘accepted’ her, still she wished them all the best and went away. And from that time everything fell right in place, Yixing and Suho did an interrogatory session with Jongin and warned him if they see Kyungsoo crying again, they will skin him alive to which Jongin gulped and promised that he’ll never hurt him. And soon Chanyeol introduced them to his Baekyunnie and Kyungsoo hated to say this but they are the loudest couple he's ever encountered! But right now his life was perfect.

 

“Baby! Where are you lost? It’s time for you to go on stage! Give the best graduation speech ever baby! All the best!”

 

Kyungsoo blushed a little and soon went on stage and managed to give a decent speech, and that’s it all of them graduated! He was actually glad that he repeated a year cause he got to meet jongin and he longer regret it. All the hurt and the tears are forgotten. Now cheers to the future,

 

“Kyungie come here and take a picture with us sweetie.”

 

Kyungsoo smiled and made his way to the Sulay couple who came to support him for his graduation, Suho managed to cry a little and Yixing looked proud as ever. He looked for Jongin dragged him with him so that they could take a family picture together,

 

“Say cheese!”

 

And they did. Later that day Jongin and him were cuddling on his bed, with Jongin hugging him tightly from behind

 

“Babe?”

 

“Hmm?”

 

“Now that we’re going to go to the same university I was thinking how about I move in here?”

 

Kyungsoo turned around and looked at him,

 

“Are you sure you want this?”

 

“Yes hyung! I just don’t want to miss any moment with you!”

 

Kyungsoo smiled a little

 

“I guess you can! As long as you don’t burn my kitchen and whine about not eating chicken for a day! I guess I can allow you to”

 

He stick his tongue out and then laughed

 

“I love you kyungie”

 

“I love you too jongin ah”

 

And with that he pressed his lips against kyungsoo's. He closed his eyes and responded to the kiss. Honestly Kyungsoo was really looking forward for their time together in the future, as he knows that even if they’ll have a lot of ups and downs they’ll still manage to get over it together as a couple.
