Before i even start sharing my experience during #IFNT_EFCTSG i need to let you know that my words might hurt or anger some of you. So please have a mind set that i love my boys as much as all of you do. My experience was great but cmon, you got to agree that there is ups and downs during your times going to any concert. Here goes my rant. Are you ready?

Im a born Singaporean who has half Korean and half British parents. I grew up in South Korea ever since im 16 and have supported INFINITE since they debuted. I have went to countless of their concerts and come back shows. That aside, concerts in Korea has always been amazing. The fans are always so supportive and friendly with each other. So when they announce their first world tour OGS , i was thrilled. And it was the BOMB. I even went to OGS Returns and was blown away by the boys. 

So this year, i have a few changes in my work commitment that have me to be attach in Singapore for a few weeks. I was thrill when the timing suits nicely for me to watch their concert in Singapore. Even tho i have went to INFINITE EFFECT in Seoul but, who ever gets enough of the boys? 

I didnt manage to get a CAT 1 seat and settle for CAT 2. On the day of the press conference, i went down with my cousin to support the boys. First of all, the place is small. I understand that press conference can be held at a smaller place but i know many places in Singapore that has massive venues. Vivo City for instance? Maybe it has to do with the organizer or maybe the accomodation of the boys. I dont know. But the place is small. When me and my cousin reach at around 5pm, many fans has already gathered. I can understand selfie sticks being use but stools? Thats fine. But if you have a stool and you know you would stand higher, couldnt you move to the back? Me and my cousin couldnt get to see anything. We just hear their voices. But i wasnt mad until i saw fans taking chairs for the nearby eatery like macdonalds and coffee bean and leave without putting them back at their respected place. And the amount of thrash after the press conference? Unbelievable. I am not judging all the individuals until the next day i saw a report "KPOP FANS HOGS CAFE CHAIRS DESPITE BEING WARN BY SECURITY AT CITY SQUARE MALL". The content of the article? Read it yourself. I was too upset because INFINITE name was in that article. But heads up, not only INFINITE fans are like that. All fandoms will be thrill to see their artists. I just wish we could be more polite. 

The day of the concert. It wasnt my first time at the venue which is Suntec City Convention Centre. I was there during Taeyang 's Rise too. Me and my cousin wasnt there too early. The concerts starts at 7.30pm and we reach at around 7pm. There was 2 or 3 lines for entering the venue. When we were queing up, we saw 4 man in suits saying in korean to give this tickets to whoever that doesnt have a ticket. Me and my cousin was shock at the generousity. Lucky you, whoever got that ticket for free. Its 7.25pm and the lines are still long. When we finally get to enter, it was dark as usual and me and my cousin have a hard time finding our seat. Then a kind angel came to our rescue, asking to see our tickets and then leading us thru. Thank you, whoever you are. We got to our seats and starts preparing our light stick and fanboard. There is also slogans given out for their closing speech and Woo Hyun and Sung Gyu solo performance. Also a small light for LOVE LETTER project. Around 7.40pm the concert starting video starts to play and the fans were cheering. Its my first concert of INFINITE in another country and i was proud to see the response. The fans infront of me starts taking photos and videos and the security immediately goes to her and ask her to stop. But what makes me upset is his facial expression could be friendlier. He points a finger at her and ask her to stop and i feel that its very rude even tho they are just doing their job. I mean there is always a better way to approach. 

The boys came out with BTD and the screams were deafening enough for me. I keep cheering for the boys and even tho for most of the songs, the fan chant wasnt heard at all, i feel that the boys could understand that. The boys introduce themself after a few songs and i silently was remembering the sequence of INFINITE EFFECT in Seoul. When INFINITE F AND H perform and went down the stage, all the CAT 1 fans ran over to where they are and i couldnt help but sees that none of the CAT 2 fans were running down. Then i saw it, they had put a barrier which wasnt there previously. So the fans at CAT 2 can just stand and look. I bet i know how they feel. So near yet so far. 

I was enjoying myself too much that i didnt know it was the last song already. Then my cousin nudge me and say they skip a few songs, is this normal? I have no answer to that. Maybe the time constrains, i dont know. But it was a bit dissapointing. 

Before their last stage, what does all of us always chant?

Yes, you are right. DASI DOL-AWA , DOL -AWA , DOL - AWA. 

But there wasnt. Me and my cousin were screaming DASI DOL AWA when the crowds goes ENCORE ENCORE ENCORE. 

Phew, i guess we really are foreigners huh? 

They came out and sings TOGETHER and my tears strolls down my face. Its the last time i will see them in awhile. 

A fan behind me makes my day the most during the whole concert. She hears me and my cousin speaking in korean and ask how to say I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU LEE SUNG JONG. My cousin type it on the fan's phone in rom and she shouts it during their bow. And my she can speak quite fluently at that. 

The slogans that were given FOR FREE wasnt use by all. We are all suppose to hold it up together but i realise many of them wasnt. Im sure the fan base who goes the extra mile to do that will feel more appreciated. 

Sums up my night, the 7 perfections never fails to impress. Seeing them in another country is an eye opener for me.

Again, i am not judging any of you. But next time i wish we could do better to show our love to the boys. Them being so far away from families, travel miles, suffers jet lag just for their INSPIRITS. 

We could do better. Because we loves them as much as they loves us.
