"You're creepy."

Myungsoo doesn't respond, staring over Dongwoo's shoulder, the page in a book he's reading frozen mid-turn.

"Super creepy. Stop that. Every time he even grazes your peripheral vision you go possum mode."

"He's so cute!" Myungsoo drops the book on the table to smush his face in his arms, fanboying.

Dongwoo rolls his eyes. "Creep."

"But Sungjong, you don't get it. He's seriously handsome. Ugh, I wish he'd talk to me." Sungyeol rolls over so his face is in the pillow.

"You could talk to him first."

Sungyeol sits up and stares at Sungjong like the younger boy's an alien. "I can talk to him first? Yeah, maybe I'll do that. Just stroll on over, chat about whatever's going on and how I think he's attractive and that we should go on a date. Totally."

Sungjong huffs, murmuring to himself. "That'd work though..."

"Okay, let's go through the plan again?"

"I go up to him, ask for his number, and see if he wants to go out sometime."

Dongwoo grins. "Good. Now stop looking like you're about to have a heart-attack."

"Sungyeol, please. It's easy. You go over there, ask if he's single, then get his number."

"But what if he's not?"

"He is, trust me."

 .

"Dongwoo, he got up and he's coming over here. Dongwoo." Myungsoo grabs his friend's sleeve.

"Well, I guess that means I should leave. Good luck!"

"Dongwoo! You can't– oh God, what am I supposed to do." he sets his eyes on his book, trying to look like he wasn't staring.

"Uh, hey. Mind if I, uhm, sit... here...?"

"Hm? Oh, no. I mean yes. I mean– go ahead." Myungsoo blushes more and his shoulders hunch as he stares blankly at the black letters.

Sungyeol sits down across from him, awkwardly twiddling his thumbs. He should've at least brought a book.

"So," after five minutes they begin in sync, immediately stopping again.

Myungsoo tries to laugh it off. "Go ahead, you first."

"No, it's fine."

"Oh, um, I was wondering if I could have your number? If you don't want to tell me that's fine too. I mean, creepy campus boy, asking for your phone number. Totally weird."

"No! No, it's totally fine, yeah, uh.." they both pull out their phones, hesitating awkwardly as to how they should exchange before finally figuring it out. Sungyeol smiles as he takes his phone back. "Hey, uhm, wanna maybe grab some lunch?"

Myungsoo thinks his heart is going to explode. "Of course! Right now?" Sungyeol nods. "Yeah, let's go!"

"Happy Anniversary!" Myungsoo holds the bouquet in front of him, laughing as Sungyeol tackles him in a hug.

"Gosh, you're the best."

"I know."

They join hands and begin the walk through the shopping district back to Myungsoo's house. It's been less than two minutes and Sungyeol freezes.

"Myungsoo, oh my God. It's so cute!!!" he stares into the shop window at the sleeping golden pomeranian puppy. "Let's get one like this someday." he's gushing to it as it blinks awake.

Myungsoo  hugs Sungyeol from behind tightly. "You're adorable."

"Hey, people are gonna start staring."

"Let them. I think some guys over there were checking you out." he tilts his head a little in the direction they came from.

"Aw, protective Myung. Cute." he pats his boyfriend's hair before taking his hand again to continue their walk.

"Hey, you know.. five whole years, huh? You were super nervous when I came and sat down." they're sprawled on the couch together, absentmindedly playing with each other's hands.

Myungsoo rolls his eyes. "You were super nervous asking to sit down."

"You were blushing so hard over lunch I thought you were sick."

"You're blushing so hard right now."

"What? No I'm not–" he's cut off as Myungsoo turns and leans up to kiss him.

He pulls away, panting. "Yeah, you kinda are."
