“Lulu-hyung! Lulu-hyung!” Yixing shouted excitedly as he jumped up and down on his Lulu-hyung’s bed. “Hyung! Wake up! It’s Yixing’s birthday, neh? Neh?!” he shook his Lulu-hyung’s body strongly, making the elder whine in his sleep.

“Baby, let hyung sleep first,” Luhan murmured as he snuggled closer to his pillow.

Yixing pouted sadly as he felt that his Lulu-hyung wasn’t really excited for his birthday. But he chose to ignore it because he knows that his Fanfan-hyung will be really happy for him. “Fanfan-hyung!” he shouted as he ran further inside the room to his Fanfan-hyung’s bed. “Fanfan-hyung! Wake up! It’s Yixing’s birthday! Wake up!” he shook his hyung’s body but his hyung only covered himself with a blanket.

Yixing stilled as his lips pouted, tears forming in his eyes. He felt his chest tighten as he realized that it was only him who wanted to celebrate his birthday; that his hyungs didn’t want to celebrate with him. “H-Hyung…” he quickly wiped his tears before they could even fall down his cheeks. He sniffed quietly as he didn’t want to disturb his beloved hyungs’ sleep more but then, he couldn’t keep it and his quiet sniffs quickly turned to loud sobs and his Lulu-hyung finally woke up.

“Dandan!” Luhan quickly went to the crying baby. “What’s wrong?” he asked as he wiped the baby’s tears with his thumbs. He glanced at the clock and saw that it was only 2:30 in the morning. The baby probably didn’t know that it was still dark.

Yixing quickly hugged his Lulu-hyung, his face buried on his brother’s chest as he sobbed. “Yixing… birthday…” he couldn’t even complete a sentence since he was crying so hard.

“What’s going on?” Yifan finally woke up and he sat on his bed, wiping away the sleepiness in his eyes with his fists. Once his vision was cleared, he saw their little baby crying his eyes out against Lulu’s chest. “Xingxing?”

“Dandan, we’re sorry, but you see, it’s still dark outside,” Luhan said and as if on cue, Yifan slid the curtain open for Yixing to see that it was still dark outside.

Yixing’s eyes widened in surprise but quickly turned sad, guilt evident in his eyes when he realized that he was wrong. “S-Sorry…” he sat back on the bed and hugged his knees close to his chest.

“It’s okay, Xingxing,” Yifan caressed Yixing’s back to comfort the kid. “How ‘bout you sleep with hyungs tonight?”

Yixing sniffed as he looked up at his hyung with teary eyes. “Can Yixing sleep here?” he asked with the tiniest voice.

“Of course!” Both his brothers exclaimed. The twins stood up and pushed Luhan’s bed closer to Yifan’s to make one, big bed. “See?”

“Lulu-hyung, Fanfan-hyung… Yixing is really sorry…” Yixing apologized once again once they settled themselves on the bed, Yixing in between the twins. “Yixing thought it’s Yixing’s birthday already. Mama said that it will be Yixing’s birthday when Yixing wakes up,” he explained, still pouting.

“It’s your birthday, silly!” Lulu exclaimed, tickling Yixing’s sides so the baby would smile, and smile he did. “It’s just too early to celebrate.”

“Happy birthday baby!” Both of them greeted, kissing his cheeks at the same time.

“But let’s sleep first, okay?” Luhan spoke.

“Fanfan-hyung is really sleepy!” Yifan whined as he poked Yixing’s dimple.

“Okay! I love you, Fanfan-hyung! I love you, Lulu-hyung!” he kissed his brothers’ cheeks. “Goodnight!”

Yixing stared at all the food on the table. Everyone just finished singing him a happy birthday and now, they were all busy stuffing their tummies, except the birthday boy of course. He was busy being curious at the set of bowls filled with tiny, colorful bears. He didn’t know why they were on the table so he took one bowl and ran to his mama.

“Mama! Mama! What is this???” He asked as he showed his mama the bowl full of tiny bears in his hands.

Baekhyun stared at the bowl first then smiled at Yixing’s cute face. “Baby, those are called gummy bears,” he answered as he lifted his tiny Yixing up.

“I knew it! They are tiny Mr. Bears!” Yixing exclaimed, smiling at the bears in his hands. “Mama, why did you put them on the table? People might eat them!” he said as he looked at his mama, worry evident in his eyes.

Baekhyun smiled. He never gave Yixing gummy bears before because he knows how Yixing loves animals and he was sure that the baby would cry if he was told that the gummy bears are food. But Junmyeon generously brought big bags of gummy bears, thinking that all kids like gummy bears, so it was inevitable. “They are meant to be eaten, honey,” he said making the birthday boy frown.  “Gummy bears are little candies.”

“Candies?” Yixing frowned more. “But Mr. Bear will cry!” he told his mama as he held the bowl close to his chest, protecting the tiny Mr. Bears.

“Baby, try eating one. They’re delicious,” Baekhyun said as he put Yixing down on a chair.

“But mama—” Yixing wanted to say some argument, he really wanted to but his mama pressed a bear on his lips so he didn’t have any choice but to shut his mouth close. “Mph!” he shook his head sideways.

“You know, your Junmyeon-hyung brought this, hoping you’ll enjoy eating them,” Baekhyun informed the little kid while tapping that little nose.

Yixing’s lips pouted as he gazed down at the little bear touching his lips. He thought for a while. His Junmyeon-hyung brought this for him so he should at least taste one, right? Tears formed in his eyes as he opened his mouth so he could eat the bear. When the candy entered his mouth, he couldn’t help but sniff as he bit the bear… and then it hit him.

His mama Baekhyun seemed to notice the change because he suddenly smiled widely. “It’s delicious, isn’t it?” he asked in which he received a nod. “So, do you like it?”

“Neh!”

“Well, go and play now!” Baekhyun wiped Yixing’s tears first before he let the baby ran to his hyungs.

“Lulu-hyung! Fanfan-hyung!” Yixing called once he reached his brothers.

“Oh, Dandan, we’ve been looking for you!”

“We got this balloon for you,” Yifan said as he showed Yixing the purple balloon in his hand.

Yixing squealed in delight as he let his Lulu-hyung grip his hand while his Fanfan-hyung tied the string a little not too tight around his wrist. “Wooow!!” Yixing watched in awe as he watched the balloon sway in the air while he waved his arm.

Then he remembered the candies in his hands. “Lulu-hyung, Fanfan-hyung! Look at this!!” he said as he showed his hyungs the bowl of gummy bears. “It tastes good!”

Luhan and Yifan were surprised at first that Yixing actually like gummy bears but they chose to just ignore it and took pieces of gummy bears for them to eat.

“Sooo?” Yixing stared at them with bright, hopeful eyes.

“Tastes good, baby!” They both said.
