EffleurerPrologue
“Don’t you think Chanyeol has a crush on you? I mean, he’s pretty much glued around you like, every single second. You should see the look he got on Youngho oppa every time he makes a conversation with you.” Yoomi said as she threw her books inside the bag, clearing up the scattered stationaries on the table.
The girl couldn’t help but laughed. “Eyy, Chanyeol is my best friend, there’s literally nothing like that.”
Yoomi rolled her eyes. Everyone in the school had pretty much known how Park Chanyeol was—the school’s rock star and everybody’s sweetheart—if there’s any girl allowed to be around him anytime and anywhere, it was just this girl everyone already knew about, Aerin that is. “If Chanyeol ever asked you to be his girlfriend, you better treat me to a full big bowl of Aunt Kim’s patbingsoo.” She said, earning a louder laugh from her friend who was all set, ready to go home.
“He wouldn’t.” She exclaimed loudly, but then she lower her head to face her tablemate. “But I think Youngho oppa would.” She whispered before frantically laughing, leaving her friend to go to Chanyeol who was already standing in front of her class. “Bye, Yoomi!”
“Yah! Please accept if Youngho oppa asked you out on a date!” Yoomi shouted, making sure that she heard everything she said. But the latter just waved her hand in the air as a reply.
“Youngho? Did he really ask you out on a date?”
Aerin just rolled her eyes and snorted when Chanyeol asked her the thing he clearly heard—of course, Yoomi was literally screaming. “No, Chanyeol. But I think he would?”
“What?” He stopped and raised an eyebrow.
“What?” Aerin turned back to him, asking him back.
“Are you... Are you going to say yes if he asked you out?”
“Not sure, yes, probably.” She said as turn her attention back to the front. “He’s cool, by the way. He invited me to some of the basketball match and I saw him playing basketball many times. He’s… charismatics. A lot of girls would kill to have a hot date like him.” She stopped again, realising that Chanyeol didn’t even move from his spot. “Oh, come on, Chan.”
Chanyeol didn’t realize that he was actually frowning.
“You said you want to stop by somewhere?”
“I wanna go to the arcade.”
“Chanyeol, I have a practice for the audition.”
The boy quickened his pace to catch up with the girl. “No, you have to come with me.” He said before grabbing her bag—clearly knew that she would refuse as he was already aware of her schedule—and ran away.
“Park Chanyeol come back here right away!” Aerin ran quickly, trying to catch up with the tall man who was taking away her bag after she refused to go with him to the arcade. Chanyeol kept laughing as he widened the gap between them. The girl kept screaming for her bag although she knew there were many people around looking at them weirdly. Meanwhile Chanyeol didn’t show her any sign of stopping, and she really couldn’t keep up with the long stride that the boy took because of his long legs.
Taking a while to take a breather—she knew where he was heading to anyway—she bent and held her knees. Looking up a bit, she still could find his head although it was already too far—he’s a giant so it wasn’t so hard to spot him in the crowd. She only took her first step and about to run when suddenly she felt a sting on her left ankle and couldn’t help but winced in pain. The girl would have fallen on her knee if it wasn’t because of a pair of hand which suddenly held h
