CHAPTER 84

 

 

 

Big Bang is back to work. Big Bang has been busy doing activities in Korea right now. Being the guests in different programs, like Come to Play and Infinity Challenge.

GD helps other members about the song.

While they’re busy in YG, Dara is finding a way how to excuse him from work and make a surprise. She said “How should I get him off to YG? Who should I call? Big Bang? No, they’re also busy. Uhmm… someone with higher position to allow GD… Uh, YG? Aigoo. I’m scared to disturb him. Who? Omo… Think… think…… Ah-huh! G-Dragon’s manager! Right! Kim Nam Gook oppa!”

She called him.

Nam Gook said “Ne?”

“Nam Gook oppa! Good Afternoon.”

“Ne? And what is Sandara Park doing at my caller I.D?” –Haha!

“Ah oppa. Sorry to disturb you. But may I ask for a favor?”

“What is it?”

“Can you excuse Jiyong on his work later?”

“Jiyong is in YG right now. Why don’t you just excuse him yourself?”

“I want to prepare a surprise for him.”

“Ahh… What’s the surprise for?”

“Should you really know about it?”

“I am his manager. Of course!”

“Aigoo~~ It’s for our anniversary.”

“Oh. Tsh. Youngsters. Fine.”

“Thank you! Thank you so much!”

In the YG building…

 

Hours have passed and they’re done recording. Jiyong goes out of the recording studio to warm himself because he’s been locked to a cold room for so many hours. Haha. He then received a call.

He answered it. “Ne, Nam Gook hyung.”

“Kwon Jiyong. Let’s talk about something later. Are you free?”

“No.”

“I’m supposed to discuss something to you.”

“Discuss? Oh you can discuss it now while we’re on phone.”

“I can’t. We need to talk personally.”

“Then what’s the purpose of this call?”

“To inform you! Aish. Little rascal!”

“You mean you want us to talk personally?”

“Yeah.”

“But I’m with Big Bang right now. Can we go there all together?”

“Ani! I want a private talk with you! Aish! Is it that hard to understand?!” –LOL!

“Why?”

“I’ve known you the right way. Ay~ You’re really a man full of curiosity! Can’t you just follow what I’m saying?”

“I don’t follow without a reason.”

“Aissh!! This is going to be tough.”

“What are we going to talk about?”

“That’s why I’m asking you to meet me in a restaurant for you to know that! Aish… Patience. Whew…” –LOL.

“This is doubtful. You don’t usually call me to meet you in a place to talk privately. What are you going to tell me?”

“……………….”

“???????? Oh!! Don’t tell me you’re resigning?! No! No! You can’t do this to me again! I’ve already told you this, years ago! Seriously, I’m hanging this up! I am going to hang this up!!”

(It is a fact that GD’s manager was going to resign before in YG due to personal reasons, YG accepted it. Jiyong was in Japan that time, when he came back to Korea and knew about it, he called his manager and said “You can’t do this to me! You can’t quit!”, without hearing his reason he just hung up. Therefore, because of G-Dragon, Kim Nam Gook is still working in YG.)

Nam Gook said “No! No! Don’t!”

But GD already disconnected the call. LOL!

Nam Gook said “Why am I even in charge of this guy? Aish!!” –Hahaha!

He called him again. Good thing GD answered.

He said “What now?”

“I am not resigning! Babo! (Idiot!)” –Hahaha.

“Then why?”

“I will retire if you don’t go in this restaurant!”

“Where is that restaurant?”

 

Then he followed. Haha! Aww. It only shows Jiyong’s affection to his manager and Jiyong values his manager even before.

After the recording, GD went straight to the restaurant that Kim Nam Gook told him to go and it’s Se7en’s restaurant. (Yeolbong)

He said “What is that man up to?”

He entered the restaurant and no one’s there. He said “Nam Gook hyung??”

But the restaurant has no people. He said “Aisssh! Nam Gook hyung is used to being late for schedule! He is really good in running away! Ayy~ What a natural given talent~” –Haha!

He looked around the restaurant and said “Hmm? This restaurant used to have many customers~ What happened?”

Kwon Young Don (one of the Kwon twins/ back up dancer in YG) appeared in front of him and said “GD hyung!” (They are working in Se7en’s restaurant.)

“Oh! You’re here. What’s with the empty seats?”

“This restaurant is temporarily closed.”

“Really? Why?”

His twin appeared too, Kwon Young Deuk. He said “Someone ordered us to close this.”

“Ohhh. Who? Se7en?”

“Yes.”

“What has gotten into his wits to do that?”

“A special someone prepared something for you. This way hyung~”

They guided him and lead him the way to a seat with a candle on the table.

The Kwon twins go away.

Jiyong was left there. He thought “I think I know what’s going on now.” –Haha.

Then Dara came out walking close to him while holding a cake. GD helps her to carry the cake and lay it one the table. He said “Woah! This is impressive jagiya~”

Dara is smiling. She said “Surprise!!”

GD said “I’m more surprised to my manager’s call to me~” –LOL!

Dara said “Aingg~ How about this?”

“Ye. I am surprised! I wasn’t expecting this from you! Did you also plan my manager’s call and did you reserve this whole restaurant?”

“Yes! Thankfully, I’m a close friend of Dongwook-ie!”

“Whoa~ This is full of effort! Thanks!”

He smiled widely. Dara said “Jiyong… this is our time.”

“Only ours! *looks at the cake* A blueberry cheesecake? Right on time! I am craving for sweets!”

“You like it?”

“Yeah! It feels like it’s my birthday today!”

“Haha! Let’s eat it.”

“Yeah.”

He called the Kwon twins after and shares the cake with them too.

The two were left now.

Dara said “I’m really sorry for my actions before. 2NE1 got occupied because we’re busy on our new album and because of 2NE1TV Season 3.”

“That’s fine with me. Just text me or call me once even if you’re busy just for me to know that you’re okay. I’m totally on with that.”

“Yes! Thank you!”

“This is my first time being surprised with my girlfriend like this. So no, thank YOU.”

“Really?”

“Ye. Would you like us to go out after this?”

“Yes sure! I missed that!”

“Me too.”

 

After 30 minutes… They ate the cake then go out. It’s been a long time since they last go out together. They cherished the remaining time that day.

Dara said “I’d save our every day together as a treasure and then again.” –Aww.

The couple is back to normal and they’re okay now.

At the end of the day, GD brought Dara a cup.

GD said “Okay. This is the weirdest gift I’ve ever given to anyone *laughs to himself* but this is special.”

“Why?”

“Fill it with your heart and you’ll soon know what a perfect thing tastes like.”

“Ohhh… Thanks! This gift has a wonderful thought!”

“Yeah. Keep it!”

“I will definitely!”

GD and Dara continue celebrating their anniversary until the end of the day.

 

On the other side…

 

Seungri go out too. He is feeling strange and he doesn’t know why. He is still thinking about what GD told him before.

 

“Seungri…You’re getting old. Please act matured! I know it’s fun to do when you’re still young. But don’t you realize that time is running for you to waste it all by just playing around? You need to find the right one. Stop playing games.” –GD. (cut from Chapter 83)

 

He thought “Since he said that, it never slips out of my mind and it never makes me sleep at night!”

He walks around and saw CL on the other recording studio. She looks stunning. Seungri stares at her.

Seungri thought “Am I really serious about her? Maybe what GD hyung said is right. But should she be a girl that I need to take seriously? I’m afraid of rejection. Everybody is… What should I do?” –So, is that the reason Seungri why you’re playing around with girls first because you’re afraid to fall in love seriously and became rejected afterwards?

She smiles. Seungri saw that. He said “She’s pretty.”

Then Teddy showed up beside CL. He’s giving a paper to CL. It may be the lyrics of their song. Seungri thought “Oh, so is that why she smiled? Because Teddy is there?”

Teddy and CL talked for business purposes so their faces are serious.

He goes away on that spot and sits alone in the cafeteria.

He puts out his phone and looked at CL’s picture. He stares at it. He said “Do I really like you? You can’t even talk to me properly. Why do you have to wear those pretty smiles and attract me?! Why do you have to act so cute sometimes? You know I get attracted to cute girls!! Aish!”

 

“On the first hand… why do I keep collecting your pictures? You’re a big temptation to Lee Seungr’s life!” –LOL!

 

A voice spoke “Lee Seungri is insane.”

He said “Oh!! Is it true? The picture spoke to me!”

“Ani! I’m here!”

Seungri looked up and saw CL in his front. He was surprised.

“Wah! How did you go here so fast?”

“I think I saw you outside the recording studio lately.”

“You followed me?”

“Why didn’t you enter?”

“Do I have to?”

“You’re weird. You’re just standing there for what?”

“Nothing.”

“And now, you’re talking to your phone. What is that talking picture that you’re saying?”

She tries to see but Seungri hides it in his pocket and said “Andwae! That was another girl of my life.”

“They’re many. I won’t waste time asking who it was. Why are you alone here mister?” –Aww. CL, only if you knew that it’s your picture! Kyaha!

“I want some time alone.”

“Oh. You should have said it earlier~” She’s going away.

Seungri said “Don’t go. Let’s talk!”

“I’ll be in the recording studio.”

“Oh…”

“???”

“Can we… can we… uh… *coughs* go out together? *coughs*”

“Sure. What time?”

“Wae?! I mean, are you serious?! Are you going out with me?!”

“What do I have to say to make it sound like, ‘yes. I am.’?” –Kyaaaah!

“I can’t believe it! Later after you record! And can you… do it faster?”

“*chuckles* Alright. So I’ll meet you here?”

“Yeah. Ye! I’ll be waiting here!”

“Don’t go away there! Bye!”

 

CL goes away. Seungri said “Whaaaat?! She approves to go out with me! This is impossible! Is this really happening?! She should be rejecting me! Whoa! Really unbelievable~!” –Haha!

 

He thought “Where should I take her? Oh! Am I really going out with her? Is this real? CL is going on a date with me! Oh!! Oh… This is going to be……awkward!” –LOL!

 

He worried about their date. Instead of being excited, he’s feeling nervous more.

He said “I am not usually getting nervous before going on a date! But why is it to CL, I’m so… so much feeling… nervous! Is it because, she’s classy? No… because she’s cool? No, I’m cooler than her. Or maybe it’s because she’s not the sweet girl type? She’s kind of mean… Aish!”

 

1 hour later…

 

CL goes out of the recording studio and goes straight to the cafeteria. He saw Seungri patiently sitting on the chair and waiting for her.

She said “Oh. Seungri-yah, you’re still waiting?”

“You told me to wait for you so I did.”

“Wow.”

“Why ‘wow’?”

“Nothing. You waited for one hour? That’s incredible for a guy like you.”

“Tsh. Heh! Yeah I know! So let’s go?”

“Where should we go?”

“I’ll go anywhere with you.”

“Can you join me find clothes?”

“Sure!”

 

They go shop for clothes. CL said “Hold this please.” and lets him hold the clothes that she picked. Seungri follows what she says.

Minutes have gone by and CL is still doing the same thing again and again. She keeps on asking for Seungri’s help in carrying stuffs. Seungri holds all of the clothes that CL chose. Haha.

CL said “This too!”

Until…

Seungri said “Ya! Aren’t these getting a little bit… no, not a little bit, but ‘HEAVY’?!”

“Oh sorry, *smiles* let me bring that to the counter.”

CL bought it all.

Seungri said “You bought a lot.”

“Aren’t you buying for yourself too?”

“Ani~ I don’t shop in this kind of place.”

“Where do you shop? Dongdaemoon? Tsh.”

[NOTE: Dongdaemoon is a place in Korea where you can find trendy and fashionable clothes. People rely in this place when they want to find good clothes.]

(CL said that to insult Seungri, saying that he only relies on the place to find fashionable clothes because he doesn’t have that good taste when it comes to choosing the right clothes.)

“It’s a secret.” (The truth is, the reason why Seungri doesn’t shop alone is because he doesn’t have that unique fashion sense and he thinks that if he shops with CL, he will just embarrass himself to her. LOL)

CL said “Let’s go to the next shop.”

“You’ll shop again?!”

“Yes. Accessories!”

“Aish! You should be with G-Dragon, not me!” –LOL.

“Do you want to come with me or not?”

“Oh. Yes, I’d love to!”

“Then would you please carry this other bag?”

“Okay.”

They walked to another shop. Then when they’re already walking far away, Seungri said “*gasps* I took back what I said… I hate coming with you. You know… with this heavy bag!”

“You kept on complaining! You’re acting like a baby!”

“Where else do you want to go after this?”

“I’m planning to, oh! Should we buy gifts for GD? GD oppa’s birthday is near!”

“And what else do you got in your shopping list?” (insulting her)

He said that instead of dating, they just ended up shopping because of CL. LOL.

“What’s the problem with that? I just want to give oppa a gift.”

“Yeah, but GD hyung’s birthday is months away from now!”

“I’ll buy one earlier because I can’t go out next month. We’ll be busy. And since we’re in this place, I’ll buy now.”

“Okay. Then you buy a gift!”

“You won’t buy? What’s ‘Tom & Jerry’ for?”

“Oh! Ugh! Alright! I’ll buy even if it’s pretty not my type who buys gifts for Big Bang hyungs.”

“Try it once. Make a change.”

They pick stuffs for GD. They roam around and buy this and that.

Seungri thought “Aish! This is obvious! CL takes me just to shop.”

 

As the day goes on, Seungri is still following CL’s commands, favors and even doing what she likes. He carries CL’s shopping bags, asked him to wait for her on a place until she comes back and picks this and that for her.

 

Until he says, “Did you really go out with me just to have someone together with you?!” –Hahaha!

“Why did you ask that?”

“It feels like you go out with me just for me to be your assistant!”

CL laughed and said “You’re quick huh~”

“Aish! I can’t believe I fell out to this mess!”

“You call this a mess?”

“Yeah! You screw me up! And yeah, you got it! You nailed me!”

“Tsh! Hah~ Excuse me. That’s ridiculous, I screwed up? How? I-In what way did I? Huh?”

“You brought me anywhere and I followed you! You asked me to do things through your order!”

“That’s because I thought you said you’ll go anywhere I go?! Oh! Ohh! So you’re telling me… was it just another pick up line?”

“Aniyo~”

“Then what?”

“*inhales deeply then exhales* I’m sorry.” He instantly decided to calm down to cool things down.

“And now you’re sorry?”

“Let’s continue. Let’s avoid fighting. This is not good for us.”

“Fighting is never good to anyone.”

“Forgive me if I have a bad temper sometimes. So where do you want to go now? We must go on!”

“My tummy is complaining. I think we should eat.”

She started walking. Seungri said “That’s what I’m talking about! Hurray! At last! For the whole day of being with you, we found something in common!”

He walks and follows her. He said “Hey wait for me! So we both love foods? What are the foods that you like? Do you also like pizzas, hamburgers and foods like that?”

“No.”

“Oh come on!!” –Haha. They still have nothing in common. LOL.

“What are the foods that you like then?” He said.

“I’m just kidding. I love those too.”

“Ay~ See? Finally! Haha. Where are we going to eat?”

“We’ll look for a place.”

“We should look for a good looking place, somewhere with standards.”

“You don’t even have your own standards, why are you looking for a place with it?” –Haha. Nice.

“Me? FYI, I am Seungri of Big Bang! Sounds appealing eh? That’s because it’s me!”

“Can’t you just shut up even just for a minute? I swear, you kept on talking since lately!”

“I must have been so trained being in various talk shows.”

(He’s nagging to CL because he’s always the one being a guest in talk shows than her.)

“Oh shut up~”-LOL.

 

Later on…

 

They found a place, ate together and their conversation stays… hmm… still somewhat like that until the end of the day.

 

But before their day ends, they go out and sit on a bench at the park. Seungri sighed and said “I think my feet are dead. I can’t feel it anymore.”

“Mine too.”

Seungri looks at her feet. He said “You’re not wearing your heels?”

“Obviously, I’m not. I’m wearing my trainers right now, if ever you can’t see it.” –Haha.

“Should we buy pain relievers?”

“Ani~ This is just a common footache! Stop buying material things!”

“Tsh! Look who’s talking. What are those shopping bags by the way?”

CL laughed. Seungri said “There she goes again…”

“Huh?”

“Nothing.”

Seungri thought “She smiles. I fall.”

CL said “It was fun… somehow.”

“What?”

“This.”

“I had fun too! Best date ever!”

“Oh…oh-hoh…Haha! No mister! This is not what you’re thinking! Date? That’s a NO.”

“This is not a date?!” –Hahaha.

“Yeah! And I don’t believe that this is your ‘best date ever’! How many ‘best date ever’ have you been before me?”

“Seriously, you’re the first one who made me exhausted after a date—”

“Not a date!”

“Well then, a hang out! You’re extraordinary! Aigoo~  CL of 2NE1 is the bossy type, for real!”

“They said so too.”

“But thank God, this date, *shakes head* I mean hang out, didn’t end up as a disaster.”

“Yeah.”

“Let’s do this again next time.”

“If I can find time, uhmm… I have a little question to ask to you… Ahh… Why are you acting like this to me? What I mean is—”

“I’m just trying to be the one that you want me to be.”

“I’m not telling you to change on the first place. Don’t change, just stay as what you really are.”

“Oh, okay. “Nan Eojjeoragoooo~~”(“What Can I doooo~~”)(he sings)” (It’s a song from his solo album, “VVIP” entitled “What Can I Do”)

“Okaaaay? What was that?”

“The real Seungri acts like that!”

“Fine. Do it all you want!”

“Nan Eojjeoragooooooooo~~”

“Stop! It’s hurting my ears!”

They laughed. Seungri said “Let’s go home?”

“Yeah. Sure.”

They stood up. Seungri looked at CL and said “You made me happy. Thanks!”

“You’re welcome. Bye.”

“Bye CL… Take care.” –walking backwards.

“You too. Watch where you’re going!”

“I will *smiles*”

“As in now.”

Seungri bumped into someone. Haha. So that’s why CL said that. CL smiled. Seungri bowed his head to the woman he bumped to.

He said “Sorry. I’m very sorry.”

“The woman said “Oh! Seungri! Omona~ Can you sign my notebook!”

“Sure.”

He signed the notebook and the woman said “Thank you so much! I’m going to tell my friends about this!”

“Go tell them~”

The woman ran away. Seungri looked at the place where CL is standing but found her nowhere. She’s gone. Seungri said “Oh, where is she? She left so fast.” –Aww.

He said “I never had the chance to tell her that I still like her. But anyway, we’ll see each other again. Maybe next time… thank you for the good time CL… Thank you…”

Then he goes away too and goes back home.

 

They had a fun together, like how two friends spend their day. Yes, ‘friends’, but at least there’s a progress because they’re getting close to each other now. The thing between them may be reacting so slowly but the good thing is, it is moving. ^_^

 

In Big Bang’s dorm…

Seungri just came. GD was in the living room. He said “Seungri-yah. Where did you come from?”

“You won’t believe me. I went on a date with CL.”

GD looked back at him and his eyes followed Seungri to where he’s going. “Woah!! Really?”

“Yeah.”

“How was it?”

“It goes well.”

“Wohhh! Seungri-ah! You’re finally a man!”

“I am a man!!”

“Why did you date CL at a sudden?”

“She approves.”

“So it means you asked?”

“Well…”

“Ohh!! Haha! I’m proud of you maknae-ah! So what happened? Tell me what happened.”

“Sorry. I can’t.” then he thought “Half of it was a failure, I can’t tell it or else he’ll laugh at me.”

“Let’s see, what is she wearing? Is she wearing a dress?”

“No, she’s just wearing stylish clothes, pants and a pair of trainers.”

“Is that so? ……I’m disappointed.” –GD, what? Hahaha!

“Me too.”

Seungri said “What are we doing?” and they laughed. Seungri said “I’ll go to my room and I better sleep.”

“Okay. I’m a bit tired too so I wanted to sleep. Let’s sleep now.”

“Yeah!!”

 

And they go to their rooms. GD lied on his bed. He said “Hahhh. Something good happened to Seungri today uh. Same thing goes to me… I feel very relieved to know that we’re finally back to the normal ‘us’. We’re ‘okay’! I knew the answers to my questions. I am happy now. Hhhh… I love her soooo much!”

 

Because his mind is at peace right now, he easily fell asleep.

 

In 2NE1’s dorm…

 

CL just arrived too. She goes straight to her room and leaves the shopping bags on the floor. She sighed and said “This day is successful. I was able to test him. But the answer is still on doubt.”

-Waaa. So she goes out with him to test his feelings if it’s real or not? Ohhh...

 

3 hours later…

 

GD was in his deep sleep when his phone rang. It rings many times but he’s not yet answering. Haha! GD can’t get awake easily with just multiple rings because he’s born to be a sleepyhead! LOL. But since it’s already irritating his ears, he got awake. He said “Who would call me at this time?! They should know that I’m resting by now!”

He answered the phone call with his eyes closed and with an annoyed tone of voice.

“Yoboseyo?”

“Ah! Oh! He answered! Jiyong oppa?”

Jiyong wondered who the caller is so he opened his eyes and looked at his phone to see who it was.

He said “Eh?”

“Annyeong Jiyong oppa. Did I disturb you?”

“Who is this?”

“Ahh. I’m your fan!”

“Ohh.”

“I’m… I am actually a friend of Jin-ah(GD’s ex girlfriend).” -?!!?!

“Jin-ah?”

“Yes. And if you’re wondering where did I get your number… I got it from her. I saw your name from her contacts so I called you immediately.”

“Ahh…”

“Oppa. You sound weird.”

“Your call came into the middle of my sleep.”

“I’m sorry. Oppa! How about the three of us meet? Jin-ah is our mutual friend! Isn’t it perfect?”

“I can’t meet anyone these days unless it’s about work. I feel sorry about this but I really can’t.”

“Oppa, Uhm… actually… I’m with her, right now. Do you want to talk to her?”

“Ah. Oppa needs some rest. I’m not feeling that well right now. I want to talk to you hopefully next time.”

Until, he heard her speak… “Jiyong…” It was Jin-ah.

GD said “Ye? Oh. J?”

“Yes. This is me.”

“Ah.”

“Jiyong… How are you?”

“Ah yeah. I’m good.”

“Ahh… So can’t we really meet again? My friend wants to meet you so bad.”

“Okay. I’ll look for a free time.”

“Thank you! I’ll just call you or you just text me?”

“I no longer have your number in my contacts. Better call me.” –Aw.

“Okay. I will! Thank you again. Good night.”

“Ne…”

“I missed you.”

“*background noises*” –Aw. He didn’t say a thing.

“When should we meet?”

“I have your number now in my received calls. I’ll text you when I’m free.”

“Okay! Thanks! Bye!~”

Her friend said “Aigoo! Oppa! How could you agree to her while to me, you said you can’t~!”

But then it’s a dial tone already, GD hung up. LOL.

Jin-ah’s friend said “Aish! There! I already did the call. I did the favor! Just like what you wanted.”

“Yes. Thank you.”

 

What is that favor that they’re talking about?

 

After that call, GD went back to sleep, like nothing happened. Haha!

GD rested the whole night. Good for him though. He was able to retrieve hours of sleep that he lost before.

 

The dark sky lightened up. Another day in YG starts.

Dara and G-Dragon are back to normal. G-Dragon is still the supportive boyfriend that she’d known. Aww =) He never changes.

On that day, Dara went to find GD in the YG bldg. and finds him inside Teddy’s recording studio.

He’s with Harang, son of Sean, and Kush. He’s playing with Harang again. G-Dragon is composing lyrics for his new solo album to come next year. He’s having his early preparation.

Dara is looking at him through the glassed door.

G-Dragon is sitting on a couch with Harang.

He is laughing with Kush.

GD said “Harang-ie! Dance for us! Come on~ “Girl~ I need a girl~” (he sings a song of Taey
