CHAPTER 78

Seungri said “I was waiting for my blind date here but she never comes. If I left, then she came, she will regret not meeting me at the right time!”

“I’ll just order a coffee frappe.” She stands up.

“Wait! Order me one too!”

“Move your feet, lazy bones.”

So Seungri stands up and follows CL to the counter. He is standing after her.

The counter personnel recognized CL and said “Oh! Omo!! 2NE1! CL! Annyeonghaseyo! ^.^”

CL just bowed and showed a slight smile. Seungri was like “I’m just behind her, how come she didn’t see me here? Hey, I’m also a star!”-Hahaha!

Seungri overtakes CL and he leaned his elbow to the desk of the counter, trying to make himself noticeable in an obvious way. LOL!

CL was clueless of what he’s doing. Seungri said “One caramel coffee frappe please.” with full of charisma.

And at last! Seungri gets noticed! Haha. The personnel said “Seungri-ssi is also here! Uhwaa! Can I take a picture with you two?”

CL said “Sure.”

The fan calls her co-personnel and asks her to take a picture of them through her phone. She stands between Seungri and CL and *flash* the picture was already taken. The fan bows 90 degrees, presenting how thankful she is to have a picture with them two because some artists won’t allow their fans to take pictures with them in regards to the rules of their agencies.

Suddenly, Seungri said “May I see?” –Haha. It is unusual for an artist to look at their picture after it was taken but since Seungri always makes sure that he’ll look good in public, he checks it. LOL. Seungri is really close to his fans. He acts like a normal person to them, like everyone is in to his circle of friends. Haha!

The picture was shown to him. He said “Aigoo, such a wonderful guy out there, right? Could there be a man who’s hotter than the Big Bang’s Strong Baby?” -with an overflowing confident look. Haha! The fan was just smiling.

“Don’t post it anywhere in public, okay?” He said.

“Oh. Waeyo?”

“Just trying to avoid issues.”

CL said “What issue?”

“We’re together. You know what runs in people’s mind only when they saw two celebrities together, right? They would consider it as ‘dating’.”

“Aish. There’s no way we would date. By the way, *looks at the personnel* I’ll order a chocolate coffee frappe.”

“Okay. I will not publish this photo anywhere. Thank you again. One chocolate coffee frappe and caramel coffee frappe, coming! Please have your seats and wait for the service of your orders.” The personnel said.

“Ne.” CL said and goes back to their seat.

Seungri goes after her. They sat. Seungri keeps on looking around. He said “She’s not yet coming? Aish!!”

She’s actually there since lately and she’s with you right now, sitting in front of you Seungri! =)

CL was just keying something on her phone and ignoring Seungri. What is it that she’s typing? Hmm…

-In the van-

Dara’s phone beeped. She said “Oh! It’s from CL!”

She reads it aloud, “Dara unnie! Okay, so who really is my date?!” –Haha! She’s confused of what’s happening and she has doubts if ever it is really Seungri who is her date for the day.

Dara said “Oh! Euhaha! I think CL had an idea now!”

GD said “Don’t reply! Turn off your phone too so she can’t call.”

“Okay!” she said while smiling excitedly.

In the café, there’s still no progress with CL and Seungri.

Seungri said “CL-ssi.”

“Ne?”

“Does your bruise hurt yet?”

“Like you care.”

“I’m not kidding.”

“It doesn’t hurt anymore.”

“Ahh. It’s good.”

“Why do you keep asking about it? Just yesterday, you were insulting me with what happened.”

“I’m just joking with that. I need to brighten the atmosphere by entertaining everyone.”

“You need a lot of attention, don’t you?”

“A ha ha ha~ *arrogant laugh* Anya… Haha. *inhales then exhales* I mean, yes.”

“You’re crazy.”

“I forgot to tell you, you look good today.”

“Is that the way how you hook up girls on a blind date? …because it’s not effective to me.”

“It’s not effective? Or is this just your first blind date?” (He’s saying that it might be her first blind date because she has never experienced such a pick up line like that. LOL)

“Shut up there. I’m not supposed to be here with you. Why are you even here?”

“I’m waiting for my blind date but since I can sense that she won’t come, I’m here with you.”

“Whatever.”

“Did you come here without your assistants or body guards? You came by yourself?!”

“What is it to you?”

“You’re brave, as for a girl.”

“Why is that considered brave?”

“For me, girls who go out by themselves are the independent ones. They think they can protect their selves, that’s why.”

“I am not the only girl who can do that.”

“No, but really, you look good. You’re always the swagger type whenever you go out in places. It’s like you’re going to perform on stage every time. *sings* ‘I go by the name of CL of 2NE1~’”

CL laughs. She said “I will take that as a compliment.”

Seungri becomes quiet after. CL said “Why be so quiet now?”

“Nothing. I just don’t feel like talking for a second.”

“I never thought that you also want silence at times.” –LOL!

“There are also times that I get serious like this.”

“It doesn’t match you.”

Seungri makes face and it is hilarious. CL laughed. Seungri stared at her face and he saw something on it. He saw a spark! Haha! He tries to rub his eyes but it just won’t get out of CL’s face while she’s laughing.

He said “Wow.”

CL said “Eh?” She’s still fresh from laughing.

“You’re smile is…amazing.”

“What?!”

Seungri is dreaming while he’s awake. He became serious while looking at her. He thought “Why does Chaerin look so beautiful in my eyes?” –Kyaaah!

Until their orders were served by the waiters, the coffees were placed in the table.

CL said “Kamsahamnida.”

Seungri is still staring at her like a man who’s trying to figure out something.

The waiter leaves. CL caught him still looking at her. She said “What’s wrong with you?”

“Ne? Ah…” He goes back to his senses.

“Now, you’re being weird. Here’s your coffee.” She moves the saucer with the cup on top to him.

Seungri thought “This is the first time that I felt this. I like her but I’m not so serious about it before. Why now? I’m feeling different! Oh aish! My heart is skipping a beat!”

CL started drinking the coffee. She talked after having a single gulp “So how was your album doing?”

“My album?”

“Big Bang’s.”

“Ahh. GD hyung is still composing songs.”

“Hm.”

"Hehe."

“You must be thinking of something right now.”

“What? No!” He thought “Can she read minds?!” –Hahaha!

CL looked at him and said “Huh?”

“I’m not thinking of someone, I mean, some—sa—something.”

“Are you getting insane or what? I’m just asking if you’re thinking about your soon to be released album. Big Bang’s album! And no, not someone, it’s an album, you know, the thing with the songs in it? Aish. If you have your psychiatrist, try to consult him daily.” –LOL!

Seungri changes mood. He can’t lose to her. Haha. So he said “Oh congratulations Chaerin-ssi for knowing what an album is. I’m impressed!*sits haughtily*”

“Aissh! You’re not yet even drinking your coffee and you’re acting like you’re overdosed.”

“Yeah. I’m feeling a little bit…*sigh* overdosed. (talking about what he’s feeling now towards CL) you know what, I said that we should stop this, right? Let’s stop fighting. Let’s be matured enough. Let there be peaaacceee~!” –Hahaha! Such a cute manly maknae.

“Matured? Tss! You can’t even act like one, how can ‘we’ be?”

“This is me. Am I not matured enough?”

“I don’t see any maturity from what you’re acting right now.”

“You won’t like me when I act mature, CL. I’m telling you.”, then stares right to her eyes with a seductive look.

CL said “Aigoo. You’re disgusting.”

“All men are disgusting for you!”

“No, you’re wrong. Teddy oppa is not.”

“Okay, so what is with Teddy hyung that I don’t have?”

“Teddy oppa is my ideal type, period.”

“So you like rappers uh?”

“Aniyo~ I like his attitude.”

“Ohhh… If I…had an attitude, would you like me too?” He said in a joking way.

CL looked at him after he said it then laughed. She said “That is if you’ll have.”

“That means that I have a chance! Haha.”

“Why are you talking like that Seungri-ah!”

Seungri just laughs pretending that he was not serious to what he’s saying.

CL said “Is this your first blind date?”

“Ani. My first was through a program, ‘Enjoy Today’.”

“How did it go?”

“It was not successful. *bowed his head with a shy reaction* I called GD hyung that day for the fan but he didn’t pick up the phone, and ya! I called you too but you did the same thing! What’s up with the leaders, really?” –LOL!

“I think we were shooting a music video that time so my phone isn’t with me.”

“You embarrassed me to them. Aissh.”

“Why isn’t it successful by the way?”

“The girl that I’m dating likes G-Dragon more than me.”

CL cackled and said “No wonder she would pick him.”

“I know. But I’m still a beautiful living matter in this world, I believe that.”

CL drinks again and keeps on looking somewhere. Haha. She looks not so entertained by Seungri.

Seungri looks around too. He said “Ah! CL-roo! Since my date is not showing up, should you be my date?”

CL looks at him and stopped drinking. She said “Will you repeat what you said?!”

“Let’s date.”

“Ya! Seungri-ah!”

“I’m just kidding.”

“I was actually planning to leave this café if you’re serious.” –Hahaha!

“Why are you always avoiding me? We were close, right?”

“Yeah. We’re close.”

“But why? This is the perfect time for us to fix everything between us.” –Hah! Finally! Seungri got the purpose of their blind date. Will Dara and GD’s plan become successful?

“What are we going to do?”

“I want us to stop fighting. Let’s act mature, let’s act like our age………Okay, I just said that lately, right?”

“It must be so difficult for you to act mature, but okay, deal.”

“Deal?” He raised his little finger and asking for her to make a pinky swear to him.

CL said “Deal!” and linked her little finger to him.

Seungri smiled mannish. He said “From now on, CL and Seungri will stop fighting!”

“Yeah.”

They drink their coffees at the same time after which was a concurrence! They laugh, stop then look at each other.

Seungri said “It is better like this, ne?”

“Right.”

“By the way, will you be going once you’re done with your coffee?”

“Unless I’m going to buy something and drink more, therefore, I will stay.”

“Let’s buy another coffee. They’re serving foods here too, right?”

“Ye.”

“I will treat you. Will you stay?”

“Ne? *chuckles* Well this is the first time.”

“You’ll stay, right? Okay. I’ll buy something for us.”

“Alright.”

Seungri bent his body sideward. He laid his elbow on the chair first and unnoticeably, he tried to tuck his hand in his pocket and gets his wallet. Under the table, he opened his wallet and checked how much money he has right now.

He thought “Aish!! Why did I just say that I will treat her? I don’t have enough money! I don’t want to say it to her now because I’ll humiliate myself! Seungri! You’re so stupid. Aaahh~ What will I do? She’s waiting!”

He’s already sweating. LOL! CL sees that Seungri is a bit on a panic mode but he’s trying not to make it obvious to her. CL thought “Look at this man. He’s still acting cool despite of his sweaty forehead!” –LOL!

She said “Do you want to go to the comfort room or what?”

Seungri said “Aniiyyo~”

“Ya. I’m done drinking.” She stands up.

“No! No! Wait! I’ll—”

“Let’s go.” She left her cash on the table, as a payment for the coffee.

“What?”

CL goes out. Seungri said “What happened to her?” He left money too and runs after her.

-GD and Dara-

GD said “Oh!! Where is she going?! She can’t leave!”

Dara said “Waaa! Chaerin-ah! Don’t walk out~ T^T”

“What do you mean don’t walk out? She’s already walking out!”

“I don’t know. Aigoo! Don’t ruin the date CL-roo!”

“She’s ruining it! She’s going out. Aissh.”

CL said to Seungri before opening the door, “Let’s not eat.”

“Why?”

“As if you have money to buy, let’s just go, I don’t need your money.”

“How did you know that I don’t have money?”

“Your acting is terrible, cocky guy.” She goes out from the door.

Seungri is just walking behind her. “Aigoo. So are we going home now?”

“Ne. Why?”

“Hyung will deduce that I’m not good at dating. He warned me to be good at my date and he will surely scold me for not meeting my date and because I escaped to her! Let’s stay together for a while, please~”

“Wait, hyung? So he set you up here? Who is he?”

Waaaa! CL will know!

Seungri said “It’s—” Swiftly, a car blows its horn so CL didn’t hear.

And by surprise, it’s Big Bang’s van, the van wherein Dara and GD are in. They immediately hide behind the front seats, so in case CL and Seungri look back, they will not see them two.

GD said “Aisssh! Driver-ssi! Why did you blow the horn?! We’ll be in trouble!”

The driver said “Sorry sir, I accidentally pressed it. It won’t happen again.”

Dara said “Aigoo! I think I bumped my head somewhere here.”

“Oh. Are you okay? *he hugged Dara’s head while whisking it* Ayy! Don’t do that again driver, okay?” –Aww. A concerned boyfriend.

“Yes sir, mianhamnida (I’m so sorry).”

“Ne… Did they look?” He’s asking the driver.

“Uhh, yes sir. They’re currently looking.”

“Aish! What are you doing?! Hide!!” He shouted. Hahaha!

The driver hides too. GD said “Because of the noise, they will notice the van. Shall we move out?”

Dara said “No. If we move out, they will suspect of us more.”

“What are we going to do?”

“Let’s stay calm.”

“Alright. *exhales* That rushes my blood in my veins!”

Dara just smiled.

-CL and Seungri-

They’re looking at the van. Seungri said “Is that… our van?”

“Where?”

“That! *he points it out*”

“Ah. It looks like it.”

“It just doesn’t look like it. It is our van for real! Look at the plate number! It’s ours!” –Waa! GD and Dara, the van gets noticed.

Seungri runs to the van. CL shouts “Ya! V.I! What are you going to do?” and follows him.

Seungri is near the van already. He said “Ha ha~ Why is this here?”

Inside the van, it was full of tension! Hahaha.

GD murmured “I told you we should just moved out!”

Dara said in reply, “Then what? Cars don’t have plate numbers at the back?”

“Aghh! Driver, lock the doors!”

The driver locked it all. They’re all hiding. LOL!

Seungri moves closer to the windows of the van and said “Who are here?”

His voice can be heard inside the van so it is making them more nervous, not only because Seungri and CL will know that Dara and GD are in to the set up of their blind date but also, they will see that GD and Dara are together! Haha.

Seungri tries to open the door but it’s locked. So Seungri puts both of his hands on the window and ready to move his head closer and his eyes in the middle of his both hands, like a binocular. He is trying to see what or who’s inside behind the tinted black window of their van.

Until CL talked “Why are you so curious about who are inside? Maybe your driver just goes out to buy something and parked it here.” that made Seungri stop. Haha. Whew.

“But it blew its horn, could the parked van do it by itself?”

“Maybe that’s another car.”

“I’m sure that it is the sound of the horn of our van.”

“So what if it is really your van?”

“Nothing. I’m just wondering.”

“You’re such a baloney.” She walks away. (‘baloney’ means ‘nonsense’)

“What did you say?!”

CL just laughs. They go far away while walking beside each other.

After they’ve gone away, GD and Dara sit back on their seats.

GD said “He almost knew that we’re here!”

“Oh. *gasps* Glad that they’re gone! My heartbeat is so fast when they get closer to your van!”

“I wasn’t expecting that Seungri knows our van very well.” –Haha!

“They’re going away, should we follow them?”

“In our situation, I think no. Seungri will take this as an evidence that we are really watching over them.”

“So we’ll stop here?”

“Yeah.”

Haha! Too bad, Seungri still doesn’t know that his blind date was with him already until now while CL slightly knows it already. She also forgot to ask about who sets Seungri up with his date because of the disturbance (horn) so she doesn’t know that GD and Dara are the ones who set them two together! The accidentally blowing of horn still helps, don’t worry GD. Haha!

CL and Seungri are walking.

Seungri said “Where are we going now?”

“Should we separate our ways now? People will see us, as what you’ve said.”

“It must be so hard going out with a celebrity, right?”

“Let’s just go somewhere private.”

“I like that. Haha! --to a seaside or where?”

“Will you just come with me without asking questions?”

“Ah sure ma’am.”

CL continues walking. Seungri said “When I was a kid, I don’t walk to many places.”

“Unbelievable.”

“That’s true. I’m always with my younger siblings at home. As their older brother, I have to take care of them.” –Aww.
