“Happy birthday Hyo!” Exclaimed Tiffany and Yoona loudly, waking up the poor sleeping girl.

“Ugh, why did the loudest ones ended up being in the same house as me?” Hyoyeon murmured, her words muffled since she was trying to cover her ears from her loud friends.

“Come on, rise and shine Hyoyeon!” Tiffany said as she pulled the covers away from the birthday girl.

“We’re meeting the girls before classes.” Yoona said now. “Seohyun managed to get the prefect’s bathroom in the fifth floor to ourselves.”

Hyoyeon sat up immediately, checking her clock only to realize it was barely five a.m., she groaned loudly but got up nonetheless, after all, having the opportunity to take a relaxing bath in the big and private prefect’s bathroom was one to not waste away.

She quickly grabbed her uniform and her towel before allowing the other girls to lead her out of her dorm.

As they exited the Hufflepuff’s basement, she found her other six friends standing outside the entrance while holding a cake.

“Happy Birthday Hyoyeon!” They all yelled at her, congratulating her excitedly, she smiled at them and almost teared up at their sweet gesture, almost.

“I can’t believe you scheduled a quidditch practice today.” Hyoyeon said accusingly at Taeyeon as they all walked to the quidditch field after classes, the girls, aside from Yuri and Taeyeon, were going to wait for them on the bleachers to finish their practice.

“I didn’t schedule it!” Taeyeon exclaimed in her defense. “Professor McGonagall told me the other teams had arranged a lot of practice hours before I got to her office to schedule it, so she assigned every Monday for Gryffindor’s practice so the amount of hours would be even.”

“So now you’re blaming us?” Sunny asked as she pointed at herself and at Jessica and Tiffany.

“No, I’m blaming you and Jessica, have you seen the amount of hours you have the quidditch field to your teams?”

“Of course you wouldn’t blame your precious Tiffany.” Sooyoung said teasingly and Taeyeon blushed at that, Tiffany stared at the shorter one expectantly to see what she would reply.

Taeyeon opened to reply but was interrupted by a loud voice and arms that wrapped themselves around her neck from behind.

“Captain!” The voice excitedly said while Taeyeon just closer her eyes and took a deep breath.

“Rachel, can you please go and warm up? I’ll be there in a second.” With a very clearly annoyed tone of voice Taeyeon said.

“But I got here early so I could warm up before you got here, was just waiting for you Captain Kim!” Her big round eyes shining as she hugged tighter the poor small girl.

“Rachel, would you mind telling the others to start their warm up?” Taeyeon said and noticed the girl wasn’t moving, she sighed before she added. “For me, please?” Just as those words left her the girl let go of her and nodded animatedly, saluting at Taeyeon before she sped off. “Ugh, if only she wasn’t such a good seeker…” Taeyeon murmured to herself but the rest of the girls caught it.

“Why do you always have such clingy fangirls?” Yuri asked as she laughed at Taeyeon.

“I don’t know, I guess it can’t be helped, I’m just too irresistible.” She said sarcastically as she sighed exaggeratedly. “Let’s go Yuri, might as well hurry up so we can finish a bit early.”

The two girls grabbed their brooms before they rushed to the field.

“Ahh!” Tiffany Yelled once those two were out of hearing reach, startling the remaining girls. “I hate that girl so much, how dare she touch my Taetae like that?” She started rambling as they went up the stairs to the bleachers. “I swear I’m going to choke her to death next time she clings on Taeyeon like that.”

“Why don’t you just ask Taeyeon out?” Seohyun said as they all sat down. “That way girl won’t mess with her, because then she’ll actually be yours.”

“I’m waiting for her to ask me out.” Tiffany muttered as she stared at the field, watching as the Gryffindor team started a practice match.

“Then don’t get mad if other girls flirt with her.” Hyoyeon said simply. “If you don’t want to ask her out, then you have to deal with those things until she manages to gather the courage to ask you out, since technically you’re nothing but a friend to her.”

Everybody stayed silent and Tiffany couldn’t help but wonder if she should make the first move.

After a few minutes of silence, Jessica broke it as she accidentally voiced out her thoughts.

“Yuri looks so hot while playing quidditch.”

Jessica blushed as she realized what she had said, covering as she eyed the rest of the girls, wondering if they had heard something.

They all laughed out loud, making it obvious that they had heard her and Jessica couldn’t help but blush harder, she looked away from them, trying to act nonchalant, and focusing her eyes on Yuri’s playing figure.

Yuri was flying around, hitting the bludgers away from her fellow teammates, she’s always had a keen eye to predict where would the bludgers be flying around and she had been a fan of working out in the gym while she was back in the muggle world during the summer, so she was pretty strong.

Being a beater seemed to fit her perfectly.

Suddenly, her broom jerked to the left, causing her to lose her balance momentarily, letting go of her bat as she held tightly on her broom with both of her hands, she frowned as she speculated what could be going on before it jerked roughly to the right and then to the left again.

“Yuri, stop playing around!” She heard Taeyeon’s yell in the back of her head.

“I’m not playing around!” She yelled back, her broom started flying around at full speed while it jerked from side to side along with occasional spinning, she could only hold it as if her life depended from it. “I don’t know what’s going on Taeyeon! My broom has gone bonkers!”

The spins and jerks turned even more violent and the turns were far too pronounced for her not to lose the grip on the broom every now and then, but being able to quickly grab it again, Taeyeon started flying after Yuri, but she was moving to fiercely and too fast for her to keep up with her.

“Yuri!” Jessica’s loud shriek could be heard as she hurriedly left the bleachers along with the other girls; they were all running down the stairs quickly, so quickly it looked as though they were flying.

Suddenly, a bludger went straight Yuri’s way, she managed to avoid it but in her attempt to avoid it along with the abrupt jerks of her broom she fell, she reacted quickly and managed to hold herself in the broom with her left hand, her left hand was now the only thing that stopped her from falling.

Her broom suddenly started speeding up, leading Yuri to the most dangerous heights, Yuri flexed her right arm, trying to reach for her broom to have a stronger grip, she was almost there, she was so close…

Until that bludger from earlier came back and broke her broom, causing her to fall from it.

Taeyeon increased her speed as she saw Yuri’s falling body, she had to save Yuri, she wouldn’t be able to live with herself if she couldn’t.

The running girls had managed to get in the middle of the field and they saw it, they saw Taeyeon’s amazing speed, but they also noticed she wouldn’t be able to make it to Yuri on time, tears were already threatening to fall from Jessica’s eyes, she felt helpless.

Suddenly Seohyun pulled out her wand and pointed it at Yuri’s falling body, silently hoping she wouldn’t miss.

“Aresto Momentum!” She yelled and Yuri’s falling speed reduced exponentially, allowing Taeyeon to get to her before she hit the ground.

Taeyeon landed safely after a few seconds of reducing her speed and she placed the girl who was in her arms on the soft ground of the quidditch field.

“Yul!” Jessica exclaimed as she got on her knees beside Yuri and when she noticed Yuri’s closed eyes… she panicked. “Yuri! Wake up!” She felt beyond hysterical, she was about to shake the girl until she felt arms wrap themselves around her.

“Jessica, calm down.” Taeyeon said, her arms around Jessica’s frame were pulling the mentioned up. “She just fainted.”

Jessica took a deep breath and stood up, feeling relief wash over her as she watched Yuri slowly open her eyes.

A bludger suddenly appeared into view, but rather than head at Yuri’s lying form it headed straight to where Yoona was, the latter just closed her eyes and braced herself for the impact but Seohyun pointed her wand at it and said firmly. “Bombarda!” Causing the bludger to explode.

“What the bloody hell is going on?!” Asked Yoona, panic clear in her voice, as she had a hand in her heart, the bludger had been so close.  Too close for her liking.

Seohyun went to Yoona and hugged her tightly, wanting to calm the scared girl down. Yoona buried her face in the crook of Seohyun’s and inhaled her scent, feeling herself slowly calm down by the smell of lilies Seohyun had.

“I have no idea.” Sunny and Sooyoung said at the same time as they watched Yuri slowly get up and get tackled by Jessica and then stared at the torned up bludger that lied just beside Yoona’s body.

“What a nice birthday.” Hyoyeon said, the rest of the girls nodded, not really knowing what else to say.

I know I normally update on Saturdays and Sundays but yesterday I was attacked by inspiration and had to write this! 

I hope it's good, it's longer than the other chapters xD 

The trouble will begin here, but this story will be more or less thirty chapters long, so there's a lot to look forward to :D
