“Time’s up ladies, please leave the room, you’ll see her tomorrow, she’ll need to rest!” Madame Pomfrey suddenly started, ushering them all out of the Hospital Wing.

Seohyun watched as all the girls waved at her and headed out of the Hospital Wing, all except for one girl. Seohyun frowned for a second and was about to ask Yoona if there was anything wrong before she was interrupted by the older girl’s soft voice.

“I’m glad you’re safe and sound.” Yoona said as she brushed Seohyun’s hair away from her face, the younger one could only blush at the girl’s sweet gesture. “Good night, I’ll be here tomorrow morning.” Seohyun noticed Yoona leaning in, her breath got caught in as she felt the girl’s breath brushing against her face, Yoona then placed a lingering kiss on the corner of her lips and the younger one couldn’t help but feel her heart beat speeding immensely, she felt time go ever so slowly and she could only internally whine at the fact that the almost kiss was too long for it to be an accident but two short for her to get to memorize how the older girl’s lips felt, or actually feel how warm or how soft they were, it was too short for her to map the shape of the older one’s lips and when Yoona headed out of the room, Seohyun could only blush brightly and wonder what was all about.

Seohyun stared at the door, lifting her right hand and touch the corner of her lips that were touched by Yoona’s not long ago.

“She’s the one you rejected that boy for, am I right?” Madame Pomfrey asked as she brought Seohyun a small cup with a draught that was going to stop the pain on her body, Seohyun blushed and placed her eyes firmly on her lap, feeling very embarrassed. “I’m sorry for listening, but I was about to tell your friends off when he confessed, I’m a hopeless romantic so I couldn’t interrupt him.”

“It’s… okay.” Seohyun replied, her eyes still on her lap.

“She is, right?” Madame Pomfrey said once again, placing the cup on her hands for her to drink it.

Seohyun just nodded and smiled shyly at the older woman, who just smiled excitedly as she helped her drink up the contents of the draught.

“Why does McGonagall always want to speak with Taeyeon only?” Tiffany asked with a cute pout adorning her face, watching as her girlfriend followed the headmaster to her office. “I wanted her to walk me to my our dorm.”

“Maybe they have an affair.” Yuri said teasingly to Tiffany, the rest of them just grimaced.

“Ewww.” Hyoyeon said while making a disgusted face. “McGonagall is like a hundred years old, I’d rather not think that’s possible.” The girls laughed at Hyoyeon’s comment.

“But in all seriousness,” Jessica said. “Maybe she thinks Taeyeon is a suspect or maybe because she’s the oldest among us and supposedly more mature.”

“Let’s emphasize in supposedly.” Yoona said amusingly causing the rest of the girls to chuckle. “We should head back to the dorms, it’s sort of late already.”

The girls just nodded and said their goodbyes, Yoona, Hyoyeon and Tiffany headed together to Hufflepuff’s dorm and Yuri accompanied Jessica to Slytherin’s dorm, leaving Sooyoung and Sunny alone.

“Well… I guess I’ll head to my dorm.” Sunny said with a cute smile. Sooyoung just shook her head and smiled back.

“Can I walk you there?” Sooyoung asked, Sunny’s hair turned slightly pink before she nodded.

They walked in silence all the way to Ravenclaw’s tower, but the silence wasn’t something Sunny was accustomed to, even less when Sooyoung out of anyone was with her, it wasn’t even a comfortable silence, it was the most awkward silence she had ever found herself trapped in.

“Is there anything wrong?” Sunny asked as they walked to the dorms.

“Not really, I’m just thinking.” Sooyoung replied with a smile.

“And nothing’s wrong, you say?” Sunny replied teasingly, causing the other girl to chuckle and to slap her arm playfully.

“I think all the time, you know.” Mainly about you, Sooyoung wanted to say but decided to save that last part to herself.

Sunny laughed; glad that the awkwardness was slowly vanishing.

“I know I’m just teasing you:” She said, noticing as a small smirk made its way on Sooyoung’s face.

“I know you know, I was just teasing you.” Sooyoung replied and now it was Sunny’s turn to slap her arm playfully.

“You know…” Sooyoung started. “Today’s events got me thinking.”

“Yeah, me too, like who would want to hurt them.” Sunny replied honestly.

“No, not that,” Sooyoung said, seemed to think for a moment before continuing. “Well, that too but I was talking about something else.”

Sunny looked at her with confused eyes and she tilted her head to the side, unconsciously looking incredibly cute.

“What was it, then?” Sunny asked as she noticed Sooyoung was exprecting some sort of feedback before continuing.

“Michael’s confession.” She started. “I mean, what he said was very true, things we don’t expect to happen, occur and we might miss big chances in life if we don’t take risks every now and then.” Sooyoung continued, she stopped walking and placed herself in front of Sunny, not allowing her to keep moving.

“Sooyoung…”

“So I wanted to tell you now, even if you don’t feel the same way, I like you and I like you a lot.” Sooyoung held Sunny’s surprised gaze although she felt like hiding under a rock out of embarrassment.

“You… you like me?” Sunny asked, her head turning a bright yellow with pink strands.

“I do.” Sooyoung said and she couldn’t help but smile when she noticed the brightness in Sunny’s hair and Sunny’s smile.

Sunny threw herself at Sooyoung, wrapping her arms around her neck, making the way taller girl lean down.

“I like you too.” Sunny murmured after a few seconds of hugging. “I like you a lot.”

“Good.” Sooyoung said, before she leaned out of the hug slightly before leaning down again, placing a small kiss on the short girl’s lips.

“Take a seat Miss Kim.” McGonagall said as she sat before the Headmaster’s desk.

Taeyeon just nodded and sat in front of her, wondering what could the Professor tell her this time.

“How is Miss Seo?” Taeyeon frowned, McGonagall had already asked this.

“Well, like I said before she’s feeling quite well.” Taeyeon said and wondered if she should tell her Seohyun had figured she was next and prepared herself.

“Madame Pomfrey told me that Miss Seo was prepared to be attacked.” The headmaster said. “Was she threatened before the game?”

Taeyeon shook her head.

“She meditated before the game, she was nervous, so she realized Yoona and Yuri who had been the ones attacked so far are muggleborns, just like her.” Taeyeon said confidently. “She’s a smart kid, that one.”

“I’m sure she is very smart, Miss Kim.” McGonagall said. “I’m glad she didn’t get hurt.”

“Professor, last time you told me you’ll try to protect them, we know now Yuri, Yoona and Seohyun are the ones who are being targeted.” Taeyeon said. “You also said you’d cancel the quidditch season if this kept going, what if they get hurt?”

“Miss Kim, it may seem cruel, but we need to use them as bait so we can catch the one who is behind this.” McGonagall said firmly.

“But they could get hurt!” Taeyeon exclaimed loudly. “What if Seohyun hadn’t discovered that while meditating? What if she hadn’t protected herself? What if she had gotten as hurt as we all thought she would be? Are you going to let that happen? Do you expect me not to tell them this either?”

“Taeyeon, if something harsher happens then I promise you, I’ll cancel it.”

“Oh, so they need to get seriously hurt for you to stop this?” Taeyeon said, anger building inside her.

“If I cancel the season we won’t get anything out of it, we need to find the culprit so this won’t happen again.” McGonagall said, looking at Taeyeon with warm motherly eyes. “Just trust me, it won’t get worse.”

Taeyeon just sighed; she knew she couldn’t do anything or refuse her even if she tried.

“Okay, professor.” Taeyeon said firmly. “But you have to promise me you’ll do anything you can to protect them.”

“I promise I’ll do so Miss Kim.” She said simply. “I promise.”

Just wanted to upload a small update, will update again on saturday :3 Dude, I checked my outlines and so far the story will be 29 chapters long + an epilogue ! But I always end up writing more xD 

Hope you enjoy the chapter! Even if it was short and didn't have much action, next chapter will be focused 100% on HyoNic, I'll reveal more of their background :D

And then... the next chapter more action will be going on ;)
