The road in front of me is hazy. My wiper keeps on waving back and forth. Tears are pooling at the back of my eyes ready to take their fall. I glanced at the speedometer and it read 180 km/hr. Am I in a race? No, it can't be. I'm never this anxious. Not even when a car is one lap ahead of me. I'm nearing to a black Audi in front so I stepped on the break. But the car won't slow down so I changed lane hastily, hoping no car is on the opposite side. But as soon as I stirred the wheel, a bright light blinded my vision and—

I woke up screaming my lungs out. I clutched my chest wishing my heartbeat would slow down. It felt like my heart woild jump out of my chest any time soon. Cold drops of sweat rolled down my temples.

I was still in my claming trance when I heard a soft knock. My legs are in their jelly state but still I managed to get the door. I was greeted by Belle whose face changed as soon as she saw my face.

"Sam what happened with you?" she ushered me towards the room wrapping one arm around my shoulders.

"I had a bad nightmare," I stated as a matter of factly.

"You really had it bad. You look disastrous!" Belle brushed away the tendrils from my forehead. "Do you want to talk about it? Maybe it would ease how you're feeling."

I contemplated for a moment. "Thanks, but no thanks. I'll be fine. Perhaps shower would do the wonders," and quickly, I proceeded to the bathroom without even looking back at Belle. I know I sounded rude but I'm sticking to my decision of not telling anyone what has been bothering me.

The water felt colder than any other days but my body is still numb from the fright I've felt from my nightmare. It's already late spring, approaching summer, but these days revelations made my heart grow colder than the winter season. I let the water wash away every worries I have. Today's the Seoul Fashion Week and I don't want to look like someone who was ran over by a ten-wheeler truck. My nightmare felt like that.

I stepped out of the shower feeling half refreshed and half tired. Belle is still sitting on the couch wearing a sorry face which made me feel terrible that I took out my anxiousness at her.

"Eonni, what I've said a while ago—"

"Eyy, it's alright. I completely understand. So are you feeling better now? Or should I tell Eric that you can't do the Seoul Fashion Week?" she said with her forehead creased.

"Yeah, I feel a lot better. And, eonni, do me a favor. Please, whatever happens, don't tell Eric. I don't want him to worry."

The last thing I want right now is Eric finding out what I have discovered the past few days. I have a feeing that he's keeping something from me and whatever that is, I ought to find out.

We arrived late at the venue though we intended to be early. EXO is on the stage practicing. They just began so I rushed backstage. When my turn came, I strutted in the runway and Sehun joined me halfway. This time Sehun didn't tremble but I did. The fuss from last night's bad dream just won't go away.

When the rehearsal was over, the models and some EXO members dispersed to their own worlds. Only Sehun came up to me and asked if I'm okay.

"I'm fine Sehun-ah. This always happen before the show," I lied. The truth is I never get nervous during fashion shows.

I stayed seated on the platform for a few minutes and then realized that Eric must be looking for me so i went to the dressing room. I wore my poker face as soon as I entered and thankfully, he didn't notice.

Belle and other people prepped me up for the show. Dabbing make-up all over my face. I sat there without saying anything. Eric kept striking a conversation with me but I just nodded or shook my head. Belle, on the other hand, was glancing at my reflection as if askig if I'm okay or not so I gave her an assuring look.
