The familiar stranger stares back at me as if remembering a dream.

"I Know You!" He exclaims, "You bumped your head onto the light pole yesterday!"

I mutter a curse under my breath, he remembers too.

"Yeah, I was...Distracted." I try to cover my obvious embarrassment.

"Distracted huh?" He chuckles, "Well let's not hope you get distracted today" he flashes a charming smile.

I laugh a lighhearted giggle, "Let's hope not!"

"Oh? Do you two know eachother?" My Omma inquired.

" Oh no! We had a little encounter at the square yesterday. Who would have thought that my date would be the same girl!" He chuckled a laugh, "Oh! How rude of me! I haven't introduced myself! My name isOh Sehun. It's a pleasure to meet your aquaintance"

I blink at him, then introduce myself, " My name is-"

"Lee Eun Mi. I know." Sehun says with a hint self gratification. His face quickly flicked to worry, " Mrs. Lee told me earlier on, before we met. I didn't stalk you or anything, just your basic information." His face flushed, " I meant I-I uh."

I could see his effort to keep his cool, I couldn't help but smile. At the corner of my eyes I could see my Omma trying not to laugh as well. Impressed that he made bot my Omma and I laugh, I cut him some slack.

"Of course! Don't we all wonder about who our parents set us up with? I apologize I hadn't asked about you in advance though due to the fact that this date was so last minute."

"Last minute? but-" He shot Omma a confused look.

"OH! How late it is! you two must be going!" My Omma flailed her arms doing weird motions at us and ushered us out of the foyer out to the front, " I hope you both have a good time! Bye now!" She closed the door but just a second before that I saw my Omma flash a 'look' at Sehun. I wonder what that's about 

"That was weird." I said in utter confusion, " I know my Omma is strange but THAT was ridiculous."

"Huh? Yeah..." He said, Well, let's get going!"

I nodded and followed him to his car, which I have to say was a very luxurious one. He strode over to my side of the door and opened it for me. I hopped into the passengers seat and fastened my seat belt. I watched him hurry into his seat and buckled his seat belt.

"Ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be." I said and flashed him a sweet smile. It was the one I used whenever my Omma sets me up with anyone. Whether it be a marriage candidate or a play date. These engagements were very political. Even if I ended up not seeing the person again, I would still have to make a good impression for the sake of the family name. It's better to leave a good word for my family. So I played it perfectly until the end. The only people I could be myself around were my best friends. Usually whenever I had one of these appointments, I would tell them about it right after but I can't do that now. I felt my heart pulse. Not good, I should be more positive. I in a breath and said

"So Sehun, How old are you?"

He quickly glanced at me, "Im Twenty-one. We are the same age."

"Really now? What are you studying?" I imply genuinly interested.

"I study Sociology and also psychology, I haven't graduated uni yet, compared to a genius like you I have a long way to go." He smiled.

"Don't say that, Im sure that I am no better than you. But exactly when is your birthday date? I realize we are the same age but who is older? You don't want to be disrespecting your elders now." I joke. But I was surprised he was my age. He looked as if he had just graduated high school.

"Your birthday was not to long ago right? I remember going to your party."

A rush of memories flood my mind, "That's right."

"Then that means you have to call me " Oppa", "He says smugly, "You wouldn't want to disprespect your elders now, would we?" He laughed again. He seemed like a bright person. It made me feel lighter inside.

"Alright "Oppa" What are we doing today?"

"It's a surprise" He says.

I start to feel anxious. What if this guy is some crazy psycho or soemthing? I mean.. he has been laughing all this time. Maybe he was laughing because things are going according to his plans. I start to feel tension.

"Are you ok? Do you not like surprises?"

"Oh no I like them." Maybe I am being a little crazy. Ok a lot crazy. What if he's really nice and sweet? Only time will tell. Ok I was seriously over thinking this. My Omma would never pair me with a weirdo and he seemed to be very well mannered. I laugh to myself.

"gwaenchanha? Why are you laughing?"

I look over to him, " I remembered something funny.."

He smiled a sweet smile at me, one that Im sure was worth 1000 watts. We get to this mysterious place. I exclaim in amusement, we were at the park and set up by a shading tree was a fancy little picnic.

"How cute!" I exclaim, "You prepared this? I can't say Im not surprised. Usually on blind dates the guys would take me to some over priced resturant."

"Well I thought you might enjoy the scenery and I would like to get to know you better without the busy restuant ambiance."

"Well said" I laugh. We talk about a lot of things what we want to do and things about our life. I was really enjoying myself. Before I knew it, the sun was setting. 

"Wow, Its already so late!" I say.

"Yeah we better get you home." We pack up the remains of our picnic lunch and bring it to the car.

"I want to stay a bit more the sunset is too beautiful not to stay and watch," I glance at him as we are walking back," It was really fun talking to you." I smile at him.

"Well I had more than fun today." He was smiling ear to ear," Pretty good first date then?"

"Pretty good indeed "Oppa"! " I put emphasis on the last word.

He grinned, " I really did have a lot of fun today though, " He looked at me, "considering that it was our first time meeting too."

"Well we just had a lot in common."

" Yeah..." He quieted. I looked over to him and we just stood there looking at eachother for what seemed like forever. Then he started to lean in, I was so surprised I didn't move but before he reached my lips he stopped. Right then I had said

"Stop!" I turn my head away.

"Sorry I... I wasn't thinking." A few moments past and he apologized, "Im sorry ,that was wrong of me to do that to you please forgive me."

I felt the sincerity in his voice. I turn back to him, more calm that he had apologized. "It's fine I should have stopped you if I hadn't wanted you to."

He looked up surprised, "So you had?"

"Oh No! That wasn't what I meant I-" I flushed a bright red. He laughed, Then I started to laugh too.

He looked over toward the horizon. "Looks like sunset is over, we should go."

I smiled, the same smile that I used on these types of dates," yeah"

We walk towards the car and we reach the lot were the car was SUPPOSED to be.

"What in the world?! Where is my?" He exclaimed. He looked extremely upset, " Someone stole my car!" 

"But how did this happen?" I asked.

"I don't know! I....." His face changed to a heavy, burdensome frown, " I left the keys in the ignition when we were putting the stuff back."

My heart sinked, "Omo! This is my fault I am so sorry! I'll make sure to compensate! Omo...eotteohge?!"

"No It's my fault, I left it in the car don't worry."

"No! It was my idea to watch the sunset! Im so sorry!" I felt so guilty, " I'll get you the exact model!"

He gave a weak smile," Well I suppose we should call someone to get us?" 

He searches through his pockets and looks stunned, " I might have left that in the car too."

" Oh then let me get mine!" I reach to grab my phone from my bag but it was non-existent, " Aha....uhh I might have..."

"Yeah.."

"What are we going to do?"

"Let's walk, if you don't mind?"

"No I don't! Let's go! " I smiled brightly but in my head I was thinking exactly how I was supposed to get home walking in my heeled sandals. But what else was I going to do? I was the one who caused this so this is my punishment. To my astonishment I made it about two thirds the way home with out much struggle. It was the last One  third when they started to ache. Sehun was such a kind gentleman too. He offered to give me a piggy back ride but I refused, He has done so much already for this first date and I had gotten his car stolen. I am walking slowly lagging behind, Sehun looked back, paused, walked towards me and scooped me up princess style.

"OMO!! What are you doing!? Put me down!"

 "It's getting dark and I have to get you home, don't complain." 

"But people are staring and-"

He looked straight ahead ,"You got my car stolen." That shut me up. My cheeks were flushed red and I couldn't look him in the eyes. It seemed to take longer to get home this way but when I saw the dim lights shimmering in the distance I felt relieved.

"We're back, you can put me down now."

"No."

"Bwoh? Why? I can manage from here," I try to slip down but his hold gets tighter, "Why?!" 

"Because"

"Because what?" 

"Just beacuse" This stalling went on until I was already at my front door but when we got there he didn't put me down.

" You can put me down now." He didn't say anything but he slowly put me to the ground.

"What is with you? I said I could manage!" 

He didn't look impressed, "Your hurt."

I paused and looked down at my feet, they were covered in blisters and were swollen the back of my heels had a bit of blood on them. I looked at him and he looked at me.

"Why are you being so nice? This is our first date. I got your car stolen and you had to carry my back to my house. Most guys would have dumped me by now."

He hesitated, " I really enjoyed your company today. I feel like I really connect with you"

" This is going way to fast! We just met THIS AFTERNOON!" Ok I was right, this guy was crazy.

He looked at me directly in the eyes. They were big and brown and sad," Sorry, I kept you out to late. Good night, I really had a fun time today." He turned to go I felt this strange ache in my chest. Like a heavy plate of guilt made out of metal was placed on top of it.

'Hey! How are you supposed to get home? And .....Sorry. Im just not used to dates like this."

"Dates like this?" he looked puzzled

I took a deep breath, "Dates where I actually enjoyed it."

He looked taken aback then he smiled that 1000 watt smile, " Well, If you don't mind I could take you on another date and maybe you might enjoy that one too?"

I smiled, " Your sly, come in, you can use our phone to call a car"

He comes in and makes his call efficiently. The car was ready to outside in five minutes.

I see him out the door.

Sehun says, "No second date?"

" I'll think about it." 

"And how are you supposed to contact me if you changed your mind?"

I sigh a laugh, " Give me your phone." We exchanged numbers.

"Until you change your mind then." He waves off.

"Wait!" I say, I run up to the cab and him window rolls down.

I peck him on the cheek and I run back inside. I don't glance out the window to see. I hear him call out 'good night'. I know what face he's making. He would smile that amazing smile and I was smiling ear to ear but not with the smile of the usual blind dates, but a youthful, innocent smile.

" Good Night, "Oppa"
