Standing at the entrance to the café, Baekhyun looked over to Chanyeol and bit his lip. This was a bad idea. He should just turn around and leave... but then Sehun would only push him back in and he would look like an idiot! 

Whilst he stood there contemplating on what to do, Chanyeol looked up from his phone and waved Baekhyun over, smiling when he sat across from him. 

"I was beginning to think that you weren't going to show up" Chanyeol said
"Sorry about that, kind of lost track of time" Baekhyun replied with a shrug of his shoulders whilst Chanyeol waved the comment away 
"Forget about it, you're here now" he said as a waitress came over to take their orders. After that? Well, the two of them just sat there. They didn't say anything because they usually only spoke after something had happened and Chanyeol wanted to know if everything was alright. 

"Why did you do this?" Baekhyun asked, expanding his question when he saw Chanyeol frown 
"Ask me to come here with you?"
"Well the only times the two of us ever talk is usually after something has happened. So I thought the two of us could use an afternoon of chatting with each other without all the hassle" he explained. 

"Why couldn't we do it at school?" Baekhyun asked 
"Would you want Sehun listening in on our conversations? I wouldn't want my friends earwigging" Chanyeol replied 
"Plus there aren't really any private places in the school" Baekhyun muttered 
"See what I mean" Chanyeol said, the waitress coming back with their drinks.

Again silence came between the two of them. This time it wasn't so awkward. What was awkward was the fact that Chanyeol just kept staring at Baekhyun and Baekhyun didn't know what to do. Did he just stare back at Chanyeol? Did he try and gaze anywhere else? Did he try to do something that didn't make it so awkward for him?

"So... tell me about yourself then? Because all I know is that you're called Park Chanyeol and you hang around with team members of the school football team" Baekhyun said, hoping to break the silence. 

"I'm more interested in learning more about you" was Chanyeol's reply, Baekhyun trying with all of his might to not blush 
"Why would you want to know more about me? I thought this was to get to know each other... not just me" he managed to say to which Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders 
"Can't hurt to know more about you" he said and Baekhyun paused before nodding. 

"Alright then, I'll tell you something about me, but in return you need to tell me something about you" he said 
"Agreed, go on then" Chanyeol said and Baekhyun paused to think before he finally said something 
"I was the one who had to speak to Sehun to become friends with him" he said and Chanyeol nodded.

"I have an older sister who is training to be a journalist" he said 
"My dad works dead end jobs to keep up with the fee's to send me here" Baekhyun continued 
"My parents pay to send me here so they don't have to deal with me and my sister being around them all the time" Chanyeol muttered, making Baekhyun frown. 

"R-really?" Baekhyun asked 
"I thought we were telling each other facts to get to know each other" Chanyeol said, quickly changing the subject 
"Alright then... my cousin put some eyeliner on me when I was ten years old and insists on me wearing it ever since" Baekhyun said but quickly blushed whilst Chanyeol grinned. 

"Eyeliner.... really?" he asked 
"She was bored and didn't have a barbie doll to play with... so I became her doll" Baekhyun quickly explained before Chanyeol began laughing and Baekhyun nudged him.

"You still have to say something" he said 
"Alright one more" Chanyeol said and Baekhyun nodded, sipping his drink 
"I'm not as clueless as everyone thinks I am" he added, making Baekhyun frown. 

"What do you mean by that?" he asked and Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders 
"Exactly that" he replied and left it at that, the getting to know each other time up. For now anyway.

"See, this evening was fun" Chanyeol said, the two of them exiting the café and made their way back to the school 
"Apart from the bit where you burnt your tongue... three different times" Baekhyun replied and grinned when he saw the pout on Chanyeol's face 
"I didn't think they'd be that hot" he said 
"They were coffee's and hot chocolate's of course they were hot" Baekhyun replied whilst Chanyeol gently pushed him. 

"Don't laugh at my pain" he whined 
"Think of it as revenge for laughing at my eyeliner story" Baekhyun said whilst Chanyeol nodded and they made their way down the road, laughing and joking about anything the popped into their heads. This was turning out better than Baekhyun thought it would be.

"Really?" Baekhyun asked before he began laughing at the story Chanyeol was telling him 
"You should have seen his face! We honestly thought he was going to kill us or something!" Chanyeol replied before he began laughing himself. This evening had actually turned out great for him. Gone was the guy who would always stutter and blush around him... okay... he still blushed. But at least he was able to hold decent conversations with him!

"The sky looks really nice tonight" Chanyeol muttered, looking up, though Baekhyun's attention was turned towards a figure on the roof he was sure was looking at him. He didn't need to doubt who it was and quickly waved at the figure, turning his attention back to Chanyeol as the two of them made their way inside.

"We need to do these more often" Chanyeol said, walking down the hall with Baekhyun 
"It would be nice. Something like a once in a month kind of thing" he said whilst Chanyeol frowned 
"Is that it? Once a month?" he asked and Baekhyun shrugged his shoulders. 

"Who know's how busy we'll be. We may not be able to make it a frequent thing" he replied, the two of them stopping as Chanyeol smiled and ruffled Baekhyun's hair 
"Thanks for a great evening" he said and with that, walked down the hall towards his room. 

Baekhyun watched him until he rounded the corner. With Chanyeol gone, Baekhyun couldn't stop the grin that had appeared on his face as he squealed a little and skipped down the hall to his room. Tonight was deffinitely a night he wouldn't be forgetting in a while! 

I sense Baekyeol development!! :D :D 

Next few chapters are going to be Hunhan but remember! They can't start to like each other quickly, or that will be too unrealistic. Let's just say, I see Baekyeol getting together earlier than they will.
