It has been a month since the doctors felt that you were on the safe side. June got married and lost contact with everyone. It was time for mid term exams and you were scared because for the last month you spent in the hospital. After hearing your confession Kai visited everyday bringing you laughter and even more heart racing moments. Exo came too of course but only for a while as they left to go practice. Chanyeol stopped his visits after he confessed. Daisy told you that he hasn't been paying attention lately in class or at practice. It was starting to make you worry.

Your POV

As I walked to my class room on my day back there was silence in the school. I had came to school early because I knew Chanyeol would be here early. I needed to talk to him. I haven't seen him in a month and I was starting to worry. As I opened the classroom door Chanyeol was there with his head down.

"Baekhyun I swear if you bother me again today I won't let you go!" he yelled surprising me.

"Oppa, its me. ____." I quitely said as I walked towards him. He lifted his head up and was preparing to stand up when I ran to block the door.

"Oppa tell me what's wrong? You haven't been talking to me or anyone. Did I do something wrong?" I asked

"Remember when you needed time to move on. I think that is what I'm going through." he said as he pushed me to the side. I didnt stop him as he walked by Baekhyun and D.O.

"Hyung how can you push a girl!?" Baekhyun yelled as he ran towards Chanyeol. D.O gave me a quick smile before running towards them too.

I felt that my whole world was falling. My best friend the one I should love asked for space. I didn't know what to do.

"___! What's wrong? Do you need to go back to the hospital?" Daisy said as she looked at me up and down.

"Ani...I'm going to be late to class okay?" I said as I walked out. I didn't know where I was going but I didn't want to stay in the classroom.

I ended up in the rooftop when I saw someone laying there. The figure slowly rose and smiled at me. Kai.

No one pov

Kai slowly rised when he heard the door slam. Who is up here this early he thought until he saw you standing there on the verge of tears.

"___... what is wrong?" he said as he quickly embraced you.

You felt warmth and you knew that this is where you belonged. You started crying and through your tears you finally said " Although I can't return feelings for him I wish that I did. But why oppa does it have to be you..."

Kai was shocked by what you said so he just continued to hug you.

"____. I don't know what to say but what I do know is that every time I am with you I have feelings I had never felt with anyone else. Can you accept my feelings?" Kai hesitated in asking

"Oppa... I don't want to hurt him.."
"He'll understand. He always does."

You stayed there in the position until you heard the bell for homeroom ring. As you got up Kai held your hand and led the way. You were shocked at his sudden action but you couldn't help but smile.

As you two walked through the crowd people starting asking questions like if you were together. Kai entered the EXO classroom and said to all the members there with Chanyeol of course not being in the room " From today on I will take care of her. She is mine and I don't want harm towards her.  Is it okay for me to like her?" to which none of the members responded.

Chanyeol entered the room causing you to want to run but Kai pulled you closer.

"As long as you keep her happy that is all that matters." Chanyeol said as he sat at his desk.

"So its offical. Kai and ____ are together...." Luhan said while looking back and forth between Chanyeol and you.

The atmosphere was quite and you let go of Kai's hand as you sat down. Kai than came to you and smiled

"If your okay with it than I'm okay with it." he whispered in your ear before taking his seat behind you.

A smile came onto your face but than a sudden feeling of sadness came when you thought of Chanyeol.

By the time lunch came EXO went to go sit at their usually spot. To your surprise Chanyeol seemed back to normal and you knew that everything was fine. Word about you and Kai spread around school and soon there were people congratulating you two. Lunch was filled with laughter and you noticed that every now and than Chanyeol would stare at you.

"Are you sure you will be fine?" you heard Baekhyun ask Chanyeol

"I should of confessed 6 years ago. But i'm too late. I'll just be her gaurdian angel thats the best I can do now." you heard him say.

Kai grabbed your hand and you looked up to his smiling face. Maybe this is where you should be. Next to someone who you felt was meant for you.

It was after school and Kai wanted to take you on a date. At first you refused because you wanted to talk to Chanyeol but Kaii did his best at aegyo causing you to laugh and say yes.

"Oppa where are we going?" you asked as you two walked hand in hand.

" To my favorite place where you can always find me." he replied with a smile

"What the dance studio!?"

"Hey I don't just dance okay haha no we have to go somewhere. Where I get the chance to drive haha."

You couldn't help but smile even moer. This dork in front of you was finally yours and you were happy.
