"I'm hungry- buy me fooood." Beside her, Jongin clung tightly to her arm and continued his constant whining, however, this time, he decided to add more cuteness and emphasis on the word 'food'. After ten minutes of this, Soeun had easily gotten used to his complaining and decided this was the perfect time to take advantage of his cuteness. 

"Hmmm... Do you know what I really like?" Jongin looked up into her eyes and she couldn't help but laugh at his puppy-like eyes, "aegyo- I'm a fan of aegyo." Just like he had been doing she started to emphasise the word 'aegyo' and received a roll of eyes, Soeun intertwined her fingers with his in hope that this would coax him into the act. 

"I'm only going to do this because I think you're cute." He quickly pulled her out of the crowded streets and onto a nearby bench, he slowly took one breath at a time and was forced to begin with a soft punch at his chest. His eyes made its way to hers and he inhaled one last time and finally broke out into aegyo. Jongin's usual deep voice had now raised up to a pitch Soeun couldn't even reach, and his lips were pouted to an extreme. Alongside this, his cheeks were puffed out and his fingers seemed to just be rapidly jiggling next to his cheeks. Overall, Jongin looked like a chipmunk on some sort of sugar rush. Soeun immediately burst into hysterics and tears of laughter quickly brimmed her eyes. 

"Yah! You definitely have to buy me food now." His stomach growled in response and Soeun was sent into another fit of giggles; it took ten minutes for her to finally pull a straight face but couldn't help but chuckled whilst thinking about his aegyo. Jongin also took advantage of this situation and made her buy any food he wanted from the store because of how she had reacted, he picked out more pastries and piled them into the basket. 

"What are you doing?" Soeun pulled out the pastry he had placed in and put in another type of assortment, "This one has a better deal- 3 for the price of 2!" She waved jazz hands to try and make the deal sound even more convincing, just because it was a deal it didn't mean the bread was bad... right?

"Fine." Jongin playfully huffed before finding his hand safely locked with hers, he took the opportunity of Soeun looking at all the deals to admire her features. Her lips curled in delight at the prices of all the deals and he couldn't help but be sent into some sort of trance. 

"Yah- pabo, are you sleeping? What kind of person sleeps whilst standing? You should've spent your time sleeping in the hospital instead of planning your 'great escape." Soeun eyes the boy one last time before giving a sigh of disapproval and started to pull her hand out of his, however, this just caused him to awake.

"I wasn't sleeping, I was day dreaming about y-" He quickly recovered with a dashing smile and hurried the girl to the checkout in hope that this would make her forget what he had nearly admitted, Soeun could only look in confusion before being shoved towards the counter.
