"I didn't lie.."

“It’s my birthday..”

In the hall, there were music, dances and everyone dressed in their best. Taeyeon dragged her feet in, and she could feel Jiyong's hands gripping on hers. Taeyeon tried to remove his grip, but Jiyong fastened it.

"Hold onto me if you don't want to get lost in here.." 

Taeyeon could hardly hear him. The music is so loud, and the crowd is in a mess. Following Jiyong, Taeyeon still confused with her decision to come into the party with him. She was firm at first. But she changed her mind after a few words from Jiyong.

"What's the big deal?" 

"It's just a party."

Jiyong is probably right. A party is not a big deal. Taeyeon knew she can't hide forever. There are 2 more years before she can graduate from high school, and before that, she has to see Baekhyun & Hyuna everyday. No matter how hard she tried to ignore their presence, they are still there.

Perhaps... avoiding is not the way to move on. Taeyeon knew she has to face it, and accept it. She has to get back on her feet in the shortest time. There is no way she is going to let her father see her like this when he returned home.

"Suzy ah, how come your date is not here yet?" asked Hyuna whose arms never leave Baekhyun that night.

Suzy pouted as she browsed the crowd. 

"He said he will be here.."

Shortly, Suzy found the uniquely shaved hair in the crowd.

"Ah~ Jiyong oppa. There he is..!"

Hyuna and Baekhyun turned to where Suzy is pointing to.

"Wait, Suzy.." Hyuna said. "Look who's with him?"

The smile on Suzy's face instantly turned into a furious frown. "What the hell is she doing here?!"

"And look... they are holding hands."
