Donghae drove Jang Mi home when it’s already 9 in the evening. They spent a lot of time talking and clearing things up.
Donghae kept holding Jang Mi’s hand as he is driving. Jang Mi never saw Donghae that happy. And she never felt that happy too before.
When they reached home, Jang Mi’s mom immediately went out of the house to see her.
Initially, Jang Mi’s mom looked surprised seeing her with Donghae. But after the older lady saw how Donghae opened the car’s door for her daughter and how he held her hand as they approach her, she already got the message.
“Hi mom.” Jang Mi said as they finally went near her mother.
Jang Mi’s mom embraced her and then Donghae too..
“I’ve been praying and hoping this day would come.” The older lady said.
“Auntie, is Bada sleeping already?” Donghae asked.
“No, he’s upstairs, playing.”
“I wanna see him.” Donghae said with a smile.
“Sure, go ahead….. and one more thing, Donghaeya.”
“Yes, Auntie?”
“Call me Umma from now on.” Jang Mi’s mom smiled as she spoke.
Donghae looks so happy with what the latter said.
“Uhm… yes… Umma.”

Jang Mi’s so happy listening to her mom and Donghae’s conversation.
She looked at her mom who’s smiling at her too.
It seems like her mom already knew everything she wanted to say. It looks like she understands clearly.

Jang Mi then opened the bedroom where Bada stays. In there, they saw Bada playing with his toys.
She went in and took Bada in her arms.
Donghae was at the door. He was just staring at Jang Mi and Bada. With so much love
“Oppa… come in.” Jang Mi called him.
Donghae looked like he’s nailed at his feet.
He wanted to get near but just looking at Jang Mi and his son made him feel so happy.
Donghae finally went near Jang Mi.
He took Bada in his arms too.
Bada embraced him.
Donghae looks so happy holding his son while Jang Mi on the other hand, didn’t realize that tears are already escaping from the corner of her eye.
Donghae looks like crying too.

“Bada… what a beautiful name. Do you know your father? Your Appa?” Donghae was talking to his son.
“Son.. .. I’m your Appa. Call me Appa…” He continued talking.
Jang Mi can’t explain how happy she is just listening to Donghae talking to Bada.
“I’m so sorry son. I wasn’t able to take care of you and your mom. But I promise to take care of you two from now on. I’m gonna make up for the days I wasn’t with you.”
“Jang Mi,” Donghae called her.
“Thank you for giving me a son.”
Jang Mi just smiled. She can’t be happier.
Donghae kissed her quickly on the lips.

Donghae and Jang Mi kept the good news from their friends. They just sent invitation cards saying that Jang Mi’s holding a Home Coming Party. But the party was actually Bada’s Birthday.

They held the party at a function hall of a hotel.
They didn’t invite many people only their closest ones.

Donghae purposely have the boys arrive altogether so to not spoil the surprise.

“Donghaeya, I noticed you being so busy these days. You almost miss rehearsals and tapings.” Siwon said
“Yah! Are you keeping something from us?” Shindong asked.
“Nothing really hyung.” Donghae answered smiling.

They then arrived at the hotel.
Before Donghae opened the door of the function hall, he first warned the boys.

“Hyungs and my dongsaengs, if there’s something that will happen inside that you didn’t expect. I wanna say sorry.”

“Yah! What do you mean?” Heechul said.

Donghae didn’t answer and just opened the door.

Everyone saw Jang Mi carrying a baby. It was Bada.

“Jang Mi?” Leeteuk said.

“Hi oppa!” Jang Mi greeted.

“Who’s that?” HanGeng asked.

Donghae then went near Jang Mi and Bada.

“My son… and his mother.” Donghae proudly said.

“Whaaaat?” Almost all the boys said in chorus.
“How did it happen?” Ryewook said.
“Why him Jang Mi?” Yesung spoke.
“I can’t believe you can have a child overnight.” Kangin said laughing.
“I never saw this coming!” Kibum said with disbelief.
“I did!” Sungmin said.
“What?” Donghae said.
“I knew Donghae loves Jang Mi even before.” Sungmin reasoned out.
“How did you know?” Donghae asked him.
“I could sense it. And I saw the way you look at her.” Sung Min said smiling.
“Me too!.” Eunhyuk said.
“Of course I told you!” Donghae yelled
“Me too.” Leeteuk seconded.
“Me too.” Heechul also said.
“Yah! You guys knew it all along and you never told me.” Jang Mi said.
“Of course! We thought you’re dating Yunho so we just kept it.” Heechul answered

“Yah! Jang Mi! How did you fall for this guy?” Siwon asked.

Jang Mi just laughed.
“Mianhe guys…. I’ll explain everything later. C’mon get inside. We have prepared a lot for you.” Donghae said.
“Did you invite your girlfriends? Call them. I have prepared enough for all of us.” Jang Mi said.

Jang Mi and Donghae explained everything to their friends.

“I see. But Jang Mi never looks like she has a child already.” Shindong said.
“Really? Why, thank you oppa!” Jang Mi smiled.
“You must’ve had a hard time when you bore him.” Sung Min said.
“Of course. But it’s alright now.” Jang Mi answered.
“Can I hold Bada?” Heechul asked.
“Sure.” Jang Mi then handed Bada to Heechul.
“Omo! I can’t believe this! He looks so cute. Thank goodness he has a beautiful mother.” Heechul said.
“Yah! Hyung! He has a handsome Appa too!” Donghae reacted.
“Whatever…” Heechul answered.
Everybody laughs upon hearing Heechul.

Each of them became instant godparents as Donghae announced it.

The party then ended and they bid goodbye to each other.

“Drive safely guys.” Jang Mi said to their guests.
They then did some aftercare and decided to go home too.
“Jang Mi, you can ride with Donghae. I’ll take care of Bada.” Jang Mi’s mom said.
“Ok mom.” Jang Mi replied.
Jang Mi’s mom then smiled at Donghae.
“Make it good ok?” Jang Mi’s mom said.
“I will Umma.” Donghae answered.

Jang Mi was left puzzled looking at Donghae and her mom.
I smell something fishy here. She said to herself.

Jang Mi then went inside Donghae’s car. And then Donghae drove her home.

While driving, Donghae then said something.
“I forgot! My gift for Bada! I left it at the apartment.”
“You just bought him an educational plan yesterday. I thought it was your gift?” Jang Mi said.
“No. I have bought something else for him.”
Donghae then turned the car back heading towards the apartment.
Jang Mi then went off with Donghae.

Jang Mi opened the door. It was so dark so she reached to the wall near the door to open the light.
Jang Mi noticed Donghae being so silent. She has this feeling that there’s something wrong.
When the lights were , Jang Mi couldn’t believe what she just saw.
The whole apartment is filled with roses. There we’re white ones and red ones.
ROSES! She said to herself.
It’s her favorite flower. It became her favorite when she knew that her name Jang Mi means rose.
She went in the apartment. She felt like she’s on a paradise. Even on the wall there are flowers. She was amazed on what she saw. It’s the first time in her life that she saw as many roses as this one.

And it was all for me? Did Donghae plan this?

She then realized she was not alone. Behind her was a voice of a man singing a song.

It’s the voice she wanted to hear every day.

She then saw Donghae coming near her.
And he’s looking into her eyes with so much love.
He was singing Marry U.
Donghae was holding a stem of red rose and he handed it to Jang Mi.
Jang Mi accepted the rose. She’s tearing up already.

As he was singing, he then took something in his pocket.

It was a ring!

Donghae then continued singing. It was softer than ever.
