I trust you..!!

Kyu, I trust you!!

Mira screamed in her heart. The cry of her heart, but it just couldn’t make its way to voice it out of her lungs.

Kyuhyun gulped at the thought of Mira not trusting her. How do you go through a relationship without trust? Does she trust Soohyun? Maybe she’s better off with him then.

Just then, Kyuhyun’s phone rang.

“yeoboseyo. Ne, Zhoumi ssi. We’ll be there,” and he hung up, slowly placed his phone back into his pockets. Should I even bring her there? There were questions about whether or not he take her to the place he had intended.

I just want you to be happy, he said in his mind and pulled her slowly to walk with him—Mira was quiet throughout the journey, battling with herself, having thoughts about how things should be. Why can’t she just follow her heart?

“Welcome to unit 4B-9!”

There stood in front of the two was a tall Chinese guy, speaking in broken Korean.

“Sorry, I don’t speak good Korean, he explained himself, seeing the two unenthusiastic people in front of him. He must’ve thought that they were unimpressed of this unit, whereby they were just two people who are having issues with themselves.

“A house? You actually dragged me here to bring me to this house?” Mira looked to Kyuhyun who was beside him. He looked at her in a confused way. Why? Was she expecting to go somewhere else? Lotte World? Should we go to Lotte World? What?

“Ahh! Just the people I want to see. Please..Please.. do come in and have a look first, Don't judge yet! Just walk around. Heh heh..,” Zhoumi welcomed them in, trying his best to not sound desperate.

The couple walked in. It was a moderate house. Wasn’t too big, nor was it too small. Perhaps just right. They walked all over the fully furnished house, with Zhoumi’s voice echoing throughout the humble  loft, being helpful in explaining everything about the house--how his mother picked the colour of the curtains, the history of the potted plants by the balcony, the tiny scratch on the wall near the kitchen and how he tried his best to get rid of it, and many other things you don't really need to know.

“Ah. Excuse me one moment. I have to get this important call,” Zhoumi excused himself hurriedly, leaving the two inside the house.

Mira turned to look at Kyuhyun, asking him to explain, “Why are you showing me this house?”

“Why did the hospital grant you the advance pay check?” he answered her with another question.

“So that.. I can rent here?” she sounded confused.

“Deng,” he smirked and stepped closer to her.

was what he wanted to say, looking at her face like that and the very little distance between them, but he might get injured by Mira’s slap or pinch, so he chose to be serious instead.

“This apartment is right next to town.. and to the hospital. There are 24hour marts just down the road, though.." he stopped and placed his hands on his chest, " I most definitely-- most strongly oppose the idea of you going down there late at night. Umm.. Oh. There’s also a park nearby and the unit beside this one,” he paused again to point to the direction of the house next door, “agreed to babysit uri Sehunnie,” he smiled and he shoved his hands down into his pockets, satisfied occupying his heart. “So, no. Your advance pay isn’t for you to rent this house. It’s for you to buy it. It’ll be enough for you to cover the down-payment for this unit. I’m pretty sure about that. I made my homework.”

There. If that doesn’t deserve a reward for kind act, then I don’t know anymore.

“When did you—why did you—“ she couldn’t help but felt touched by what Kyuhyun had said and done.

Every little aspect of her had Kyuhyun taken into consideration.

Kyuhyun knew Mira wouldn’t feel comfortable (yet) living with him, and he most certainly didn’t want her to live in Soohyun’s house, even if Soohyun wouldn’t be there, so he asked his friends to ask their friends if any were selling a unit. It just so happened that Ryeowook’s friend from the agency decided to go back to China for good, and that he wanted to let his house go, and thus, here we have them with Zhoumi ssi.

Kyuhyun knew Mira wouldn’t want him to help her 100% with her problems, so Kyuhyun, being the CEO of the hospital issued for an advance pay for Mira to settle her house issues—and here we have Kyuhyun running away from the stigma of rich chaebols being bastards.

Kyuhyun knew there would still be problems with Sehun—like where to place him when she’s out at work, so he asked around. Pure luck hit him when he asked the unit next door if they knew anybody who babysits, the lady owner offered her help to look after Sehun.

Above all, this wasn’t done with an intention that Mira would love her more or deeply than ever before.  

All that Kyuhyun wanted was for Mira to be happy. That would satisfy him for days and nights. Just so to be clear about Mira being happy; doesn’t concern her staying at Soohyun’s house, thus his kind action of looking for a house for her.

“But I thought you wanted me to stay with you..? at your house?” she murmured. She still remembered that day in the sandwich outlet and the unspoken fight between him and Soohyun. Feeling a little bit guilty for not making a decision about whose house to pick, Mira kind of decided that staying at Kyuhyun’s house was what she should’ve picked.

“Mi..” he held Mira’s hands, both of them, letting the hands dangle in between them.

"If you're willing to stay at mine, just because you think it's the right thing to do, then I would rather you not," he shook his head a little and look at the girl who was gazing straight into his eyes. It was hard to control himself when she's looking at him like that--like her eyes have their own vocabulary, describing them with normal words would be underating them "I think I know you well enough now.. My house is always open to you and Sehun, you know that. So let me help you just this much and--"

Kyuhyun stopped talking.

He stopped talking when Mira raised her hands up to pull him by his neck and closed their distance completely, as she sealed their soft lips together in a slow yet tantalizing dance of kiss.

As surprised as Kyuhyun was, he quickly took over and let his hands crawl over the small of her back to pull her in closer into the kiss. The fringe of his brownish hair tickled Mira's forehead, but of course she didn't mind. Pftt.. Who would?! Kyuhyun couldn't help but to smile in the kiss, feeling a sense of serendipity unfolding itself.

"I trust you, Kyu.." she whispered into his ears, and there and then she decided to trust him whole heartedly, including that picture of him and Jimin. She trusts that there must be an explanation for that. She trusts him.

"Well, I'm happy that we're all happy," Zhoumi chimed in as the couple break free from each other, but not too far apart, because Kyu was holding her by the waist.

Kyuhyun chuckled a little before he said, "She's taking the house, Zhoumi ssi." He turned to look at his sunshine beside him before continuing, "and yes. We are happy," as he tugged her closer to him.
