Three(Present Day)
"..He was the best leader and friend that a man could ever have. He worked so hard for Shinhwa to stay together, carrying the burden for the six of us. Eric hyung, may you now rest in peace."
Andy bowed before stepping down the platform.
"Thank you, Andy-sshi," said the pastor.
"Sara-ah, don't you want to say something about Eric?" my mum whispered from my side. I looked down at my trembling hands.
Let's do this, Sara. For the last time.
I stood up from my seat and slowly made my way to the platform. Hundreds pairs of eyes stuck to me like bees to a flower.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down before speaking into the microphone.
"Hello, everyone. I am, or was, Eric's fiancée.
Eric was the perfect boyfriend that a girl could ever have. He stayed by my side when I was ill or down, even though he was busy. He prepared surprise events for me, even when the day was just any other normal day. He protected me from harm, even it meant that he had to die-" My voice cracked.
"I-I'm so s-sorry. Because of m-me, he d-died. Eric is g-gone. H-He's never going to c-come back-"
My sobs echoed around the room, through the speakers. I heard a few others in the room starting to cry.
I felt a muscular arm wrapped around my shoulders. "It's okay, Sara-ah," Junjin said softly as he led me back to my seat where my mum opened her arms for me.
