There were three beds, each with small bedside drawers beside them. Three wardrobes with different colors were neatly lined in one corner. There were also two doors, one leading to the bathroom and the other to the veranda overlooking the cool view of, well, trees. You loved sleeping in corners, but you also don’t like the idea of sleeping near windows in a place full of monsters. Who knows what’s gonna pop out there in the middle of the night? You decided to take it anyway since your roommate had already taken the side with no windows. You crossed over to her side of the room and gazed at the Shinee and Infinite posters plastered on the wall. There were also pictures with autographs pinned there. Your roommate apparently has a thing for boy bands. It didn’t bother you though. At least there’s something here to remind me that I’m still in Korea and this is still earth. You were about to unpack your things when you remembered that you still yet had to meet with the chairman. You spent a few seconds in front of the mirror to fix yourself, though you didn’t look any better than before. “Ugh! Whatever,” you muttered and headed out of your room. It took ten minutes by foot to reach the school gates and a couple more minutes to reach the center building because of the enormous school grounds. You immediately went to the second floor and searched for something that would indicate where the chairman’s office is. To your confusion, there was nothing but classrooms there. You assumed that you must have gone to the wrong building so you went back to the school grounds to look around at the many buildings around you. There was apparently no one there to ask for directions. I didn’t get lost on the way to campus alright, but I’m lost INSIDE the campus. Sheesh! I should have asked Doctor Jung for directions. You decided to go to the place where there’s a big chance that there was someone there. You pushed the door to the cafeteria. You were relieved to see that you were right. You saw a very tall guy standing in front of the vending machine. “Excuse me,” you called, but the guy didn’t seem to hear you so you walked towards him. “Excuse me, you there.” The guy took a can of Coca Cola from the item slot and turned his attention to you. You caught your breath when you saw his face. He probably was the most beautiful creature you have ever seen. He had a small face with sharp features which were astonishingly striking. His pale skin complimented his small, pink lips and dark brows. What caught your attention the most were his fierce and cold eyes. He raised an eyebrow inquiringly. You realized that you were gaping at him so you quickly snapped out of your daze and pretended to clear your throat. “Uhm, I’m looking for the Administration building. Can you tell me where it is?” “West side, second building,” he answed curtly with an accent. “Oh...Okay. Uhm, thanks,” you said uneasily. You couldn’t figure if he was just in a bad mood or if he was naturally cold-mannered since you couldn’t feel any animosity from him towards you. You gave a quick bow. He only gave you a small nod and turned his attention back to the vending machine. Ice king! You had caught a quick glance at his ID which was dangling from his pocket but you could only make out the words ‘Wu’ before he turned to look at you again. You smiled in panic and turned to leave but your foot got caught in one of the chairs. You nearly tripped but you felt a strong hand holding your elbows firmly just in time. You looked up at the same guys as he casually helped you regain your balance. “Ahhh….thanks.” He only grunted in response. He faced the vending machine again and bought another can of Coke. And a coke freak. You successfully made your way out of the cafeteria without engaging yourself in another accident.
