“Here you go!”

                “What is this?”

                “Another business trip.”

                “Again??? As I recall, we just come back from Japan for less than a week,” Yonghwa nagged.

                “I’m aware of that. But, you suit this best. Take a look at that!” said the secretary.

Yonghwa paid attention at the business proposal offered to him.

His suddenly smiled as he looked at the word “Busan”

                “I will go to Busan?” he said with bright eyes.

                “Hehehe… I know you’ll love it. That’s why pick you.”

                “Mannn….. this is great….. I miss my hometown so much”

                “You know Busan well. So, Seo sajangnim trusts you,” the secretary assured him.

                “Am I going by myself?”

“Well actually we plan to send you and Lee Jonghyun, but he will fly back to Japan to manage the press conference

and legal documents with Yoo Jaesuk sunbaenim,” she explained.

“Oh yeah… he told me that,” he replied.

“Prepare yourself, then. You’ll be leavin tomorrow morning.”

“Roger that,”

The next day, Yonghwa landed at Gimhae international airport.

He was really excited to meet his family after such long time.

He took a cab and go directly to his house at Busan.

The meeting will be held at Monday, so he got two free days to at least prepare and meet his family.

                “Abeoji!!” Yonghwa hugged his dad when he saw him.

                “Oh Yonghwa ya…. Why are you here? You didn’t tell us that you will come” his dad replied.

                “I wanna surprise you. Hehe…. Where is omma?”

                “She’s at the kitchen. Let’s go there. She’ll be really happy”

Yonghwa and his father entered the kitchen.

Yonghwa stood behind his mother and surprised her.

                “My handsome son!” his mom said and then kissed him.

                “How I miss you so much… How are you? Do you eat well? You look so skinny now?

                “Gwaenchanhayo omoni. I miss you too,” he hugged his mom.

                “Yonghwa……”

Yonghwa heard a soft voice at the kitchen door. He smiled to the owner of the voice.

                “Ah.. You here…. How are you?”

                “I’m really fine.. it’s nice to see you… It’s been so long…”

“Shinhye dear… you come at the right time. Yonghwa just arrived. I’ll prepare the table so we can have our lunch,” his mom said.

“Let me assist you then,” Shinhye told her.

“So nice of you,” his mom smiled.

“She’s getting more beautiful, isn’t she?”

“Hmm????” Yonghwa puzzled.

“Shinhye… She’s getting more mature and beautiful now,” his mom said.

“Ah… that’s right,” Yonghwa nooded.

“How about you take Yonghwa to walk around after this, Shinhye? He must be longing to see his hometown,” his mom said while looking at Shinhye.

“I would love to,” Shinhye replied.

After the lunch, Yonghwa and Shinhye left the house to walk around the neighborhood.

They did not talk to each other. Yonghwa didn’t seem to interested as well.

                “What are you doing at my house?”

                “I always visit your mom. She kept telling me to come. How can I resist that?”

“We’re done long time ago. Don’t tell me you forget that?” Yonghwa said as they stopped at the beach.

“So???” she replied lightly as if she teased Yonghwa.

“So please keep a distance from my family, especially mom,” he said firmly.

“I have done that. But it seems, your mother loves me too much,” she smiled.

They kept walking at the beach. No words came from Yonghwa as he heard Shinhye’s last statement.

He knew exactly that his mother loves this girl so much.

He knew that his mother would love to see him marry this girl.

But he also knew, that wish will never come true.

Shinhye stopped walking and turned around to face Yonghwa.

                “Last time we were here, you told me you love me,” she said.

                “Ah yeah….” Yonghwa replied in uninterested tone.

                “And this is what we did back then……”

She moved closer to Yonghwa, put her hands on his head, and kissed him on his lips.

……..

Yonghwa surprised with the kiss and immediately took one step back,...

                “Yonghwa oppa……..”

A voice called out his name.

A voice that he wished to hear everytime.

A voice that he hoped to cherish all day.

He knew the owner of this voice....

then he turned around.....

                “Seo Joo Hyun………”
