“I wish he'd be as sweet as you though.” Sooyoung mumbled

“ Oh, haha,” Key nervously laughed “No one’s really called me sweet before.”

“Oh!” she said, shocked that he heard her “I-I’m serious though. I hope he isn’t anything like Kyuhyun.” She said obviously annoyed at the thought of the guy who just won’t leave her alone

“Who’s Kyuhyun?” Key asked innocently, as if Yunho didn’t tell him the story

“Well, he’s this really arrogant guy who just won’t leave me alone.” She said as clenched her fist

Key could only say “ohh” and decided to change the topic. Sooyoung, no matter how he tried to change the topic, asked him if he liked anyone.

“Aniyo, no one for now I guess. Besides, it’s only the first day right?” He half-smirked at her

“I guess so.” Sooyoung chuckled. She was obviously enjoying every minute she spent with Key and she didn’t even realize it.

“You know, no one really treated me the way you guys treat me in my old school. Some of them even called me a freak. ” He said laughed slightly reminiscent

“Jinja? Why were they mean to you?” she asked, puzzled as to why people would treat a guy as sweet as Key so meanly

“I didn’t really talk much there. They actually called me the mute wake boarder.” He chuckled at the thought of the lame nickname people used to

“Bwoh?! You’re a wake boarder?!” Sooyoung asked surprised

“Neh,” he laughed “I’m actually here on a sports scholarship.” He shyly admitted

“Wow. Shinhwa only gives scholarships to those who are really gifted. Hyukjae oppa and Hyoyeon unnie are actually on dance scholarships too. Unnie applied for a scholarship and oppa was recruited. They’re really dancing machines!” she laughed, quite proud of her unnie and oppa “How about you prove to me that you’re really good at wake boarding when we go to the family island?” she challenged him

“Your family owns an island? Wow. You guys are really rich,” he laughed trying to change the topic. But when the look on Sooyoung’s face showed that she was serious, he quickly added “how about I teach you how to wake board after I show you how pros do it?” he

“Psh. Don’t boast! I might be a natural wake boarder and beat you when you teach me how to do it!” she said as she stuck her tongue out at him.

“Aigoo ah, look at you being so ambitious. You’re soo cute!” Key teased as he pinched her cheeks.

Sooyoung’s blush was evident but Key thought her cheeks were pink only because he pinched them. Time flew by as they had their lunch with the seniors and the next few classes passed by quickly because they weren’t so boring.

At the school’s gates

“Noona, I’m going to walk Yuri noona home today. Will you be fine walking home by yourself?” Minho asked concerned for the wellbeing of his sister.

 “Aigoo~ah, Minho you don’t have to walk me home.” Yuri said as Minho pouted

“Minho~ah, I can walk her home. It’s no problem, I think we’re going the same direction anyway.” Key offered when in fact his house was in the opposite direction.

“Is it really okay hyung?” Minho asked his eyes full of hope

“Neh. Besides, you really have to bring Yuri noona home, it’s not safe for a lady to go home alone you know?” Key said as he winked at Minho

Minho got the message and grabbed Yuri’s hand as he pulled her so Yuri could get home before it got dark. Onew, Jonghyun and Taemin used Key’s statement as an excuse to walk Taeyeon, Sica and Yoona home.

“Taengoo~ah, you heard Key, it isn’t safe for a lady to go home alone. Besides, what would my umma say if I didn’t send my best friend home?” Onew teased as he nudged Taeyeon. Taeyeon laughed but agreed as well because she could spend some time with Onew while walking home.

“Sica, is it okay if I walk you home? I’d feel guilty if I didn’t though.” Jjong shyly said as he scratched the back of his neck. Sica timidly nodded and shyly held on to Jjong’s arm when he offered it.

“Tae, come ooooon! You’re the only one who won’t walk me home!” Yoona pouted as he pulled Taemin’s arm

“We both know you can get home safe without me and that you can defend yourself considering your dad taught you judo since you were three. You don’t need me to walk you home Yoong…Unless,” he wagged his eyebrows at Yoona “Unless you want me to walk you home because you want to spend more time with me.”

“Aish, Taemin, just walk me home!” Yoona laughed as she playfully hit Taemin’s arm
