I rolled my stiff shoulders back as hands ran across my face and hair. I could feel someone fixing my collar; hands were hemming my pants and sleeves. My mind lost focus like it usually does when I’ve been drinking the night before or when I haven’t had enough sleep.

I could see her grabbing a fist full of rings and bracelets and I swallowed hard telling the women around me that I would need five minutes to use the rest room. They nodded and left and I walked past her head turned following my movement.

“Hey.” She said when I walked back I scanned the room, no one was watching.

I held out my wrist and she stacked the jewelry she’s been holding onto my arm. She avoided my eyes as she worked.

“Their perfect.” I eyed the colorful ethnic jewelry.

I knew that I shouldn’t use that word to describe them when Naomi wearing an onyx slip dress her thick curls were pulled back from her face.

“I knew you’d like them.” Her hand lingered at my throat as she placed a pendant around me.

“Let me take you out tonight.” I muttered without thinking, it was best that way.

“What?” she hissed her eyes widening.

“I know it’s random but, I want you to have dinner with me…please.” I held her gaze for a moment.

“JiYong I…don’t know if that’s best for us to…”

“I don’t care about that anymore. This is what I want. Just say no if you don’t want to.” I knew that I was taking a risk.

“JiYong! We need you over here now.” My manager called.

“Go…” She whispered and I turned around leaving her.

NAOMI’S POINT OF VIEW

I watched JiYong’s interview from a monitor in the waiting room. My head was spinning in agony.

It was wrong wasn’t it? I didn’t want to cry at the fact that Calvin was calling me less often. I wanted to be his just like I promised.

The audience laughed at something JiYong said. No traces of the few words we exchanged were visible in his facial features.

I knew what I wanted too…but was I brave enough to let go of what I worked hard on and go with what is totally effortless.

I watched as he came back into the dressing room. I waited for him to look at me, but he didn’t. I felt guilty as I watched his happy smile turn into a miserable grimace.

“JiYong…” I touched his slender shoulder.

“You shouldn’t be here, I’m changing.” He muttered.

I stayed and he shrugged pulling layers of clothes off. He caught my eyes lingering as he reached for his belt. He loosened it slowly and I continued to stare.

“Hand me my jeans?” He whispered as his pants fell to the floor.

I grabbed his jeans and handed them to him. He didn’t say anything as he put them on and crossed his arms. JiYong leaned against a dresser.

“I was thinking why you were filming…” I played with the tinny silver chains around his wrists.

I stared him in the eye and he didn’t seem upset anymore.

“Yeah?” he whispered.

“I let you take me to dinner.” I sighed looking away.

“Let you?” JiYong laughed.

“I want you to take me to dinner.” I let the words roll off my tongue with out analyzing them so I wouldn’t freak out.

He was quiet for a moment.

“I’ll pick you up at eight.” He said eventually as the room filled with his entourage.

I freaked out realizing that I had nothing to wear. I stared nervously at the clock when I finally chose dark silk pants, silk campaign tank top and pilled crystals and silver around my neck.

My phone vibrated as my hands drew a thin dark line across my eyelids.

“Hello?” I brushed furiously thru my thick curls and running gloss thru them.

“Hey…um are you ready yet?” JiYong laughed nervously.

“No…why?” I put in diamond studs in my ears, tinny silver ones in my second and third holes.

“I’ve been out side for twenty minuets.”

“Oh my God I’m so sorry!” I yelped looking for a purse.

“That’s alright I’m inside right now.”

My heart stopped. “Wait, what!?” I turned as I heard three soft knocks on the door and Noona muttering annoyingly in Korean.

JiYong pleaded back with her and I yanked the door open.

“JiYong!” I gasped as he stepped in bowing apologetically to Noona and she rolled her eyes.

GDRAGON’S POINT OF VIEW

I smiled at her totally surprised face. My eyes fell on the exquisite necklace that surrounded and fell into her exposed chest. Then down to her bare feet.

“You look amazing.” She saw me staring then closed the door behind me.

“JiYong you’re supposed to stay outside.” She sighed turning to face the mirror and she rubbed berry colored lipstick on her lips.

“You were taking too long.” I admitted. “And I wanted to make sure this matched your outfit.” I held out the brown and black box to her.

She stared at it for a moment. “JiYong what is that?”

“I know you wanted it. But most importantly…” I added as opened to protest. “I would love to see you walk in these death traps, it’s ing y.”

She laughed taking pulling the ribbon apart and opening the box she pulled out the black shoes and slipping them on. Her head reached my jaw as she pulled the empty box out of my hands.

“You’re so sweet.” She grabbed my face down, kissing my jaw.

I pulled her waist close to me and she hugged my neck tight.

“You deserve the very best.” I said simply into her ears.

“I left the engine running.” I whispered letting her go.

“We should go then.” She walked to her dresser grabbing her bag and walking ahead of me. I grinned watching the Louis Vuitton shoes in action. They gave her hips a y sway as we made it to my car.

“Bentley?” She eyed the white car as I opened the door for her. “No driver tonight?”

I closed it walking around and getting into the car. “Can you blame me if I said that I want you all to myself?”

She pouted and I started the engine and driving off into the night.
