Double Wedding Reception: Sweet Moments

Love Covers a Multitude of Sins

HyungJun and KyuJong wasted no time in acting on the request.  YiHyun in heels was almost as tall as her now husband, so without giving her a chance to react, he dipped her and kissed her fully.  Emily too was rather tall, but that was okay.  It just meant KyuJong had easier access to his Bride’s lips.  He slowly wrapped his arm around her waist, making Emily and the crowd impatient for the kiss.  The younger crowd, instigated by JungMin and HyunJoong, begun to chant:  “Kis-eu!  Kis-eu!”  KyuJong cupped his Bride’s face and just as agonizingly slow, he brought his lips to hers.  Emily’s hands were free and pulled him in closer, still.  Ilana had returned to Jihoo’s side, while YoungSaeng joined a few of their old shipmates in the loud cheering.

After what seemed an appropriate length of time and the couples were not breaking their kiss, the officiant cleared his throat.   "You guys just about done?"

KyuJong and Emily broke apart first, with Emily covering her flaming cheeks behind her hands.  Smiling, KyuJong tucked her head against his shoulder and looked up.  "I think we're done.”

HyungJun gave his Bride a quick kiss on the cheek and pronounced they were also done.  "I present you Mr. Kim and Mrs. So," with an open palm he gestured to HyungJun and YiHyun whom immediately bowed to her parents, then his, and finally the guests.  Gesturing again with his open palm, he gestured to KyuJong and Emily.   "I also present Mr. Kim and Mrs. Blake for the first time ever."  They too bowed to her parents, first, then his, and finally the guests.

YoungSaeng walked back to the piano for the recessional.  The maids of honor handed back the bouquets to their Brides and fluffed out their trains.   The two couples didn't need to go anywhere; the wedding coordinator already had people removing unnecessary chairs and other objects to make room for group pictures.  On the lower deck, steaming hot trays of food were all ready for the guest who would be showing up as soon as the group pictures were taken.

HaEun and KangMin had woken up during the commotion, unused to such loud noises.  Ilana immediately handed HaEun over to Appa who oversaw emergency procedures.  Suzy draped a shawl over her and got down to the business of nursing her son.  "On set, say 'Kimchi!"  The photographer yelled over the din of people, talking over each other.  It usually took a few takes to get a group of four hundred people to all look at the camera at once, kids and babies were exempt.  All the short people were in front with the kids; that meant Ilana, JanDi, InHei, and InSo.  Suzy and KangMin were just behind them.  At six feet or just under, all their significant others, were in the back row, towering over everyone else.

Slowly, people began to escape to the other deck for their food.  A good portion of wedding guests attended the ceremony and another portion, sat through the ceremony, only to get to the food afterward.

Once the group of friends was dismissed from picture taking, they all took refuge by the food.  "Sarang, anja, Na will get us plates," Jihoo said.  "Arraso, HaEun and I will wait."

JungMin gave his wife a pout, as he was receiving a certain look from her.  "Arraso...I'll get us plates, too,” he said, resigned.

 - “Gomawo!”

 - “HaEun-ah?  Begopayo?  I’m going to warm your bottle, deh?  Appa will be a while."  Ilana had not worn a nursing dress, informing her daughter that she would have to have a bottle at least once during the evening.

 - “Umma wants to look cute for Appa and her chingu today, deh?”  Ilana watched her daughter crawling on the bed.

Jihoo had just come from the bathroom, freshly showered and overheard his wife’s conversation.  He wrapped his arms around her back.  “Umma is Yippeun in anything she wears,” he kissed her cheek and then let go to pick up his daughter, who was getting closer to the bed’s edge.  “Dtal takes after Umma,” he gave her little nose a kiss.  HaEun gave Appa her winning smile and placed her hands on his face.  “Na will give dtal permission to dance with her InSo Oppa; hajiman if he’s naughty, dtal can just kick him.”

 - “Sarang!”  Ilana laughed at her husband.  “Don’t listen to Appa, InSo’s Umma will pull his ear if he’s naughty.”

 - “Deh…maja.”

 - “Imo?  Can I feed her, juseyo?”  InHei was left in charge of her baby brother, while her parents, much to JunPyo’s dismay, stood in line to get food.  “Umma lets me feed InSo.”

 - “Arraso, let me remove her coat so she doesn’t spill on it.  HaNa was nice enough to give you her coat.  We don’t want to get it dirty on the first wear.”  Coat removed, HaEun cautiously went into InHei’s arms, only after a few silly faces from her Unnie.

In line, there was much sighing from JunPyo.  In some ways, he was still very much the pampered prince, but sometimes it was just an act to cover up his awkwardness in the situation.

 - “Gu JunPyo, you’re sometimes more impatient than InHei?”  JanDi whispered loudly.

 - “The line is moving quickly, your wait will be over soon,” Jihoo clapped his awkward friend on the shoulder.

 - “Easy for you to say,” JunPyo mumbled, just like a kid.  “Na didn’t want to come.”

YoungSaeng and Mina were just behind them, holding hands and HyunJoong and JungMin behind them, teasing.

 - “So…when do we get to sing at your wedding,” JungMin said in a not so low voice.

 - “Yah…will you keep quiet,” YoungSaeng said.

 - “It’s not like you’re hiding; you two have been lovey-dovey since the ceremony was over.”

 - “Deh!  He practically ripped her off my arm after the attendants were done taking pictures with Sinbu & Sinlang,” HyunJoong added, making Mina giggle.

 - “Namjachingu is a bit possessive,” she said, then wrapped her arms around his waist, gave him a kiss on the cheek laying her head on his chest.

 - “No one will blame me,” he responded, wrapping his arms around her as well.

 - “They’ll blame you if you don’t move with the line,” JungMin said.  The line had moved a few paces in that short time and the couple was still lost in each other’s arms.

 - “Leave them; begopayo,” HyunJoong moved ahead of the couple with JungMin.

 - “Orabeoni…we’re going to get in trouble,” Mina looked into her boyfriend’s eyes.

 - “Deh,” he separated himself from her and went back to holding her hand.

 - “Sunbae, where is Harabeoji?”  JanDi asked.

 - “He’s with Ron HySu and his anae and some of the other clinic and foundation staff.  Did you get a chance to greet them?”

 - “Anieyo…someone didn’t want to be left alone,” she stared pointedly at her husband.  “Once we’re seated at the table and someone is no longer shy, Na will go and greet them.”

 - “Yah…it’s just, mollah anyone here.  They are your co-workers.  Anae doesn’t like to be dragged to Shinwah functions.”

 - “Mollah,” JanDi rolled her eyes at him.  At least you have Jihoo Sunbae to keep you company.”

Jihoo smiled at the bickering couple.  If one didn’t know any better, they’d think they had a terrible marriage, but it was the complete opposite.  JunPyo was just cautious in showing his softer side in public.  The two celebrities and the two F4 had all been eliciting stares and whispers as it was.  When JunPyo was with his family, he didn’t like to be bothered.  He could control the media, but couldn’t control gawking commoners.

Unlike western weddings, where no one ate until the Bride and Groom were served, most of the guests had already finished eating and onto seconds or had begun to wander around the ship, by the time the Brides and Grooms took their seat.  They had just cut their cake, after a love shot of champagne for the camera.  The wedding cake was usually just a prop, but they would have it sliced for anyone who wanted some before they left.  The traditional rice cakes were also available on the buffet table.

The two couples smiled for the camera and with the Groom's hand on top of the Bride's they each cut into their own cake.  KyuJong & Emily's had a fairy tale shadow motif, whereas HyungJun and YiHyun's was decorated with stick figures.  "Now, Sinbu, feed your Sinlang," the wedding planner directed.  YiHyun, having never been to a western wedding, gave her husband a neat forkful, while Emily teased KyuJong, bringing a piece of cake in her fingers close to his mouth and pulling it away.  "Paboya!"  He pouted and Emily continued her taunting.  "Chincha?"  Pretending to be angry, he took her wrist as she was about to feed him the cake and without it being intentional, her arm jerked and the cake ended up smashed all over his chin.

 - "Omo!  Mianhae!"  She covered a giggle behind her hand.  "You were too impatient; I was just about to feed you!"

KyuJong had a half smile on his face.  "Jagiya..., na believe the tradition is for me to feed you back, deh?"

 - "Gwenchana...gwenchana," Emily said, between giggles.  Trying to walk back from her husband, she didn't get far, before he grabbed her by the arms and kissed her protesting lips, cake and all.

 - "Choah?"  KyuJong asked once he ended the kiss.

Emily took her finger and wiped some of the cake he had left from her face.  "The cake or the kiss?"

 - "Both."

 - "Masheesuhyo...Red Velvet (the cake) and chocolate mousse (KyuJong)," she winked at her husband.

KyuJong laughed with his teasing bride and took a napkin to help clean them up.  "Messy Sinbu, what will Na do with you?"

 - "Na think I need another punishment," Emily said, grinning.

 - "Later...," he grinned back.

 - "Emily went out of turn," YiHyun pouted.

 - "Na will give you a really big piece of cake, deh?"  Her husband appeased her and gave her twice as big of a bite of chocolate cake.

Ilana observed the newlyweds arriving at their table with wide smiles.  “Oppa, Sinbu & Sinlang-deul are finally sitting down to eat.  When do you want to sing?  After we dock or before?”

 - “Mollah…,” YoungSaeng was suddenly feeling shy.  He’d have to hear whispering and murmuring once people realized he was an idol.

 - “It would be good to do so now,” HyunJoong, said.  "People will be getting restless since they can't get off the ship yet."

 - “Majayo,” Jihoo agreed.

 - “Arraseo,” Ilana said.  She'd gotten used to singing in front of people, the last almost two years.  She went from singing for her Church congregation to singing at the Gala and now in front of an entirely different crowd.  She didn't expect their attention at all.  Most wedding goers in South Korea weren't used to having a reception type atmosphere.  The ceremony was over and most were just waiting until the ship docked, to go about their evening.  Only the International guests and younger Korean generation were staying until the end of the night.

 - “Sarang is nervous?”  Jihoo gave her a knowing glance.

 - “Na can understand Unnie being nervous, but Oppa?”

 - “I’m not!”

 - “Alguesubnida, this is different than hanging out with chingu at the noreabang or performing for thousands of fans.  Fans and Soju are more forgiving,HyunJoong explained.

 - “Sunbae has done this before,” YoungSaeng pouted.

 - “Deh, it doesn’t mean it’s not difficult.  Ka!  Make us proud.  Ilana-yah, this will be a treat for me, since before today Na didn’t know you had such a lovely voice.”

Ilana blushed at the praise of her favorite idol, by default.  “Anieyo…,” she ducked her head in Jihoo’s shoulder, embarrassed.

Suzy began a chant, drawing attention to their two singers.  “Unnie-ah…O-ppa…Ilana-yah …Saengie-yah!”  Soon, the entire table was chanting and clapping.  Ilana looked to HaEun; InHei had taken her from her seat and was clapping her hands for her.

Other tables began to stare in their direction.  “Arraso…arraso…Oppa, let’s get this over with, deh?”

 - “Dehhh…,” he was glad the rest of the songs, he would be with the guys.

 - “Kaja,” Jihoo stood first.  “I’ll accompany you.  YoungSaeng-ssi won’t be overly nervous about having to play the piano as well.”  YoungSaeng and Ilana were resigned to the fact that they weren’t escaping this and followed Jihoo.

Whispers had already begun as people recognized YoungSaeng and tried to speculate who Ilana was, but Jihoo remedied that, by taking her hand as they walked.

 - “Annyeong hasseyo,” YoungSaeng commanded everyone’s attention on the mic.  "Welcome to the wedding of HyungJun-ssi and YiHyun-ssi and KyuJong-ssi and Emily-ssi.  We have prepared two songs to entertain the Sinbu and Sinlang as they enjoy their meal.”  The Brides and Grooms were giving them questioning looks.  “The first song is dedicated to our Maknae, HyungJun-ssi and YiHyun-ssi.  Don’t forget, you placed Ilana and me in charge of special music.”

 - “Nampyon, na think we should be nervous,” YiHyun hooked her arm around her husband’s.

 - “Don’t forget, we know where you live.”

 - “Na will tell your landlady you’re harassing me.”

Ilana laughed and rolled her eyes at these boys; she nodded her head to Jihoo and she began. (Nagging)

Stop being out so late

Try not to drink so often

You don't listen to me like a 10-year-old child

YiHyun had already covered her giggle when YoungSaeng joined in:

I can only laugh

Who are you calling a child?

Really, I can only laugh

You don't know how it feels for me to say these things

You don't know that I only want to say nice things to you

Should I stop? Let's stop

Ilana sang solo again:  From one to ten, they're all words for you

But since you don't listen to me, it's only nagging to you

YoungSaeng answered back:  Let's stop, let's stop

There's not even enough time to just love

The two sang back and forth and soon developed their character:  she ‘nagging’ and he answering.  Most of the guests were at least smiling, those who knew the couple for whom the song was intended were laughing.

Even if you glare and try to scare me

Your face is just too cute to me

Are you going to keep this up? (You) I can't hold back anymore

I really might get angry

A story that wouldn't be told if we were to give up love

The sound of my heart that thinks only of you

Even if you're angry, even if you shout

Your nagging is just so sweet to me.

A story that can only be told if we love

But since you don't listen to me, it's only nagging to you

Let's stop, let's stop

But trust my feelings

YiHyun had been laughing so hard, tears were almost in her eyes“Wau…and you two are chingu!”  HyungJun groaned.  “Mollah…she’s cute even when she scolds me,” he tilted his wife’s face to his and kissed her cute nose and then her cheek.

 - “Junnie, saranghae.  Do I nag?”

 - “Nado saranghae.  Anae doesn’t nag, she just worries about me.  Choah.”

 - “Chincha?”

 - “Mmm.”

Emily and KyuJong were anxiously now awaiting their turn.  “Arraso, what do you two have planned for us?”  KyuJong asked.

YoungSaeng made Ilana play rock-paper-scissors to see who would introduce what song.  Fortunately, YoungSaeng ‘won’ the first round and he had to go first, but now it was Ilana’s turn.  Jihoo gave her a reassuring smile.  "This goes out to our sweet and long-suffering chingu.  To our cute couple who met and fell for each other in the single rider’s line at Lotte World and were actually seated together, instead of separate.  We’re almost positive their thoughts were something like the lyrics of this song."  Ilana nodded to Jihoo.  (So cute)

I know you boy – your eyes, looking at me, are a bit too hot

I love you so much, that’s what I’m going to tell you – you’re so loveable

Cause I need you, I’m going crazy because of you

So, I love you, you alone

Oh, baby, so so much

I keep liking you – stay by me

I just wanna love with you

I’m being careful, I’m afraid you’ll find out how I feel

I don’t know, don’t know, you’re so cute

After a brief bridge, it was YoungSaeng’s turn:

I know you girl – your face, looking at me, is so cute

I love you so much, that’s what I’m going to tell you – you’re so loveable

I think you took all of my heart

Only you can sing my song

Oh, baby, so so much

I keep liking you – stay by me

I just wanna love with you

I’m being careful, I’m afraid you’ll find out how I feel

I don’t know, don’t know, you’re so cute

They finished with:  Neomuneomu gwiyeowo

Oh, oh-oh-oh

Ilana and YoungSaeng grinned at each other as others were clapping and laughing.  KyuJong's face had a tint of pink on his cheek as he tried not to laugh.  Emily laughed silently into KyuJong's arm.  "Judging by the looks on KyuJong-ssi and Emily-ssi's faces, Na guess was right and their love story did start something like our song," Ilana spoke.

 - "Jeogumyo," KyuJong, said still smiling.

Emily composed herself.  "Jagiya...did you really think I was cute?"

 - "Dehhh," he sighed.  He then whispered in her ear, "did jagiya really think I was hot?"

 - "Oh, yeah...positively peng (hotx3)," she said, without hesitation.

 - "And then this yeoja decided to follow me all over the park," he kissed her lips before a pout could form there.

 - "Not fair!"

 - "Nan molla molla neon neomu neomu gwiyeowo," he pinched her nose since he didn't want to disturb her perfectly rouged cheek.

JungMin stood up, even if YoungSaeng was technically the MC, along with Ilana.  "Let's hear it for our wedding singers:  Heo YoungSaeng and Contreras Ilana!"  Both turned and glared at their loud-mouthed friend, but had no choice to respond to the clapping around them.

 - "Kansamnida!"  They both bowed for the guests.

YoungSaeng decided to remove the spotlight from himself, as Ilana had already begun to run back to her husband.  "Hokshina, if we clap and cheer loud enough, our Sinbu and Sinlang will give us bpo bpo?  Bpo bpo...bpo bpo!"  He began to clap and chant, followed by many of the guests.  JungMin began to ding his chopstick against his glass, leading the way for the others to do the same.  While the Grooms were suddenly a little shy, their Bride's took the initiative and initiated a chaste little kiss, that wouldn't get them in trouble with the elders present.  The night was still young and they could indulge once the tut-tutting elders were not looking.  YoungSaeng decided to let the elders have their fun since neither couple would be having a paeback ceremony today.  "At this time, na would like to invite anyone to the mic, who would like to impart some wisdom for our Sinbu-deul and Sinlang-duel," YoungSaeng inclined his head and quickly ran off to his seat.

Mina gave him a kiss on the cheek.  "Orabeoni was daeback!"

 - "Deh?"

 - "Deh," she said with a thumb up.

Soon one by one, well-meaning Harabeoji and Halmoni began to come up to the mic

 - " 잃고 외양간 고치기: losing a cow, then fixing the stable."  (In other words, after a crisis, you prepare against the crisis. It would've been more helpful if you'd prepared beforehand)!

 - "쥐구멍에도 볕들 있다: 하늘이 무너져도 솟아날 구멍이 있다: Even if the sky is falling, there will be a hole in it (Every cloud has a silver lining)."  HyunJoong considered this and thought it was true.  Even in his darkest moment, Attorney Lee came to him.  Even when the media was rampant with lies about him, his fans were there to encourage him.

 - "가는 말이 고와야 오는 말이 곱다: if you speak beautiful words, then people will speak beautifully to you. (You get what you sow)."  JunPyo took his wife's hand; little by little he was learning this lesson, thanks to her.

 - "가랑비에 젖는 모른다: The little things add up, as does the rain in a drizzle (The little things amount to a big thing)."  YoungSaeng wrapped an arm around his girlfriend and leaned her face against his.  He kissed her cheek.  She was his little thing, her kindness, and companionship; even though she will say it was purely selfish, accumulated in his heart until it was bursting with love for her.

 - " 없으면 잇몸으로 살지: If you have no teeth () then use your gums (잇몸) (Make do with what you have)."  HyungJun and YiHyun smiled at each other.  They began their business with a combination of equipment that he had collected on the ship and the few things she'd collected as she studied her hobby and passion.  Now, they sometimes actually had to turn away business.

 - "털어서 먼지 나는 사람 없다: Nobody is perfect. Everybody has faults. Dust (먼지) will come off anybody if you brush them (털다)."  Ilana's eyes turned toward her husband; she once thought she was the Queen of imperfection.  Now she thanked God for dusting her off and Jihoo for taking her just the way she was.

 - "역시 사람은 끝까지 가봐야 안다는 : you only truly know somebody when you've stuck it out with them for a long time."  KyuJong looked at his bride.  He looked forward to discovering more about her.  How she slept, how she brushed her teeth, the first thing she did when she woke and the last thing she did at night.  He wanted to know more about her home, so far she had immersed herself in his culture, but he didn't know much about hers.  He wanted to know her as intimately as his second skin, even if it took a lifetime.

The couples ate while listening intently to the funny proverbs spoken by the elders.  The Ajumma's or Halmoni's usually gave relationship advice, while the Ajussi's and Haraboji's gave advice on achieving success.

Time passed quickly and it was soon time to get rid of...or actually disembark those who would not be staying.  Emily and KyuJong's parents were the only one's staying; YiHyun and HyungJun's parents were leaving.  The rest of the elders were leaving.  They witnessed the marriage, they ate; it was time to go.  The Captain, Brides, and Grooms were saying goodbye to their guests, while tables were bussed, the DJ booth was coming alive with lights and Anju (food for drinking) was being prepared for the 100 or so younger people that were staying (Some, just for the chance to see more of HyunJoong and YoungSaeng).  The bar had been stocked with many types of alcohol for the six-hour wedding.

The Mom’s, at this time, took over a portion of the deck furthest away from the speakers to create their own little space for the babies.  The babies had all been entertained by InHei for the most part.  She did take advantage and ran around the ship with some kids her own age for a little while, but not all of them stayed.  Families had things to do; weddings weren't something you stayed at for six hours.  Even her Appa wanted to leave, but her Umma wanted to stay.  InHei wanted to stay too.  She was still on winter break from school and allowed to stay up late.

Soon it would be time to nurse and hope the babies would be able to sleep so that Umma and Appa could have a little fun.  Some of InSo and KangMin's finery had been removed.  “KangMin-ah, I bet you’re so much more comfortable without all that scratchy clothes on you.  Umma should have let you wear that nice soft tuxedo, instead of the scratchy one.”  KangMin was now dressed in a cozy footie sleeper that was all black and had a tuxedo shirt printed on the front.

 - “Imo Ilana, Na couldn’t be the only namja not wearing a suit or tux!  HaEun Noona would laugh at me!”  Suzy replied.

 - “Andwae!"  HaEun was getting a little fussy, tired of being held, she wanted to play with InSo.  "Deh, gongju?  Do you want to play with InSo Oppa?  Arraso."  JanDi and Ilana had spread a blanket on the floor, so their two little ones had some wiggle room.  InSo had shed his jacket but was still in his little suit.  Likewise, Ilana didn't want to bother changing HaEun yet, until it was time for her to nurse and sleep.  It would disrupt her evening even more.

 - “I think the blanket was a good idea,” JanDi said, as she watched the two play with some blocks, a shape sorter, and one light up musical toy.

 - “They get along well,” Suzy said.  “Na KangMin has his competition.”

 - “Omo!  Saranghae Suzy-ah, hajiman no matchmaking!”

 - "Omo!  Eommonim has already begun talking about whom we should consider pairing InHei with when the time comes."

 - “Unnie!  She's only eight in Korean years!"

 - "She tried to marry off JunPyo at eighteen."

 - "Micheosseo!"  Suzy said.  "KangMin-ah will marry when he's ready.  Until then, he'll be Umma's jogeum namja."

 - "Gwenchana," JanDi, said.  "Poor InHei will be fortunate if her Appa lets her marry before she's fifty."

 - "Deh, na can easily picture HaEun Appa not taking kindly to any namja she brings home."  Ilana and JanDi began to giggle, recalling the stoic face he once had.

 - "Waeyo?"  Suzy asked.

 - "Amugotdo, na was just remembering something."  Shaking her head at the emotionless faces her husband used to make that always terrified her.  "Speaking of the namja, where are they?"  Ilana scanned the room for a sign of her husband.  "Nampyon and JunPyo-ssi were escorting Harabeoji off the ship and haven't returned?"

 - "Ilana-yah, there they are!"  JanDi was looking at one of the other doorways.

Jihoo and JunPyo were rapidly walking toward them.  "Sarang!"  Ilana smiled up at her husband.

 - "Pali, pali!"  JunPyo was already pulling JanDi to her feet.

Jihoo calmly gathered his wife's coat and gloves.  "Sarang, the sun is about to set, pali, if we want to watch."

Ilana was getting into her coat, aided by Jihoo, who was draping a scarf around her neck.  "What about HaEun?"

 - "Gwenchana, ka!"  Suzy said, "I'll be here."

 - "InHei-ah, watch your dongsaeng."

 - "Deh, Appa!"

The ship began to pull out again as the sun was dipping into the ocean.  "Wau!  It's such a treat when we can break from our busy schedules to stop and watch such a spectacle," Ilana said.

 - "Sarang is trembling," Jihoo wrapped his arms tightly around her, making sure the wind did not penetrate.  “Better?”

 - "Jogeumyo."

 - "Should we go back inside?"

 - "Anieyo!  Yippeun!  Na won't be cold if Sarang just holds me."

 - "Arraso."  They continued a silent watch over the quickly approaching night.

 - “Wau!  JunPyo, look at all the colors!  We’re both so busy; we rarely get to treat ourselves to things like this.”

 - “Deh, there is never enough time,” he sighed.  His daughter was eight, his son almost two (Korean years).  Where does the time go?

JanDi heard the sigh next to her.  “Gu JunPyo, time goes by quickly in all families.  You’re a great nampyon and a great Appa.  Even if it means InHei is at the clinic or your office, she is never just left alone with the house staff.  Even if we must go with you on a business trip, you won’t leave us alone for days.  Yeobo, you’ve done what your parents didn’t do and that was put family first.”

 - “Chincha?  It seems with all our money, Na can never do enough.”

 - “Anieyo, InHei knows how hard Appa works and still is home to have dinner most nights and tuck her in every night.  You’ve not missed any ballet recitals.”

 - “What of JanDi-ah?”

 - "Nampyeon is always there when I have a bad day at the clinic.  Even though you might not have words to tell me, Na just need you to hold me.  When Eommonim gives me a hard time, nampyon is there.  And no matter what is happening with Shinwah, nampyon is always home and in our bed by the time I'm ready to sleep.  Even if InHei and I must stay awake a little longer, nampyeon never fails us.”  JanDi forgot the sunset and looked up to her husband.  Nomu saranghae,” she said and inched her lips to his.  It wasn’t easy running a mega-conglomerate and it wasn’t easy being a Doctor at a small clinic, but the two of them had faced every difficulty together, protecting their marriage and family.

The photographer had managed some great pictures of the couples in the sunset and managed to get off the ship just in time before it set sail again.  The two brides and their maids of honor disappeared to touch up makeup and hair.  YiHyun changed her gown into one of ankle length and loosened her hair from the bun it was in.  By the time Jihoo, Ilana, JunPyo, and JanDi were returning to their seats, so were the Brides.  Ilana stopped to get hot tea at the self-service tea bar and JanDi helped herself to some snacks.  There were a few packages of Pepero left that were put out for the kids and JanDi took some to InHei.

YoungSaeng took the mic as soon as the Brides were seated:  "Annyeong hasseyo, our Sinbu-deul, and Sinlang-deul, thank for staying and continuing the celebration.  Our Sinbu-deul and Sinlang-deul would like to share the first dance."   Ilana had told him he was on his own to be an MC, much to his annoyance.  He was still a bit on the shy side, despite his idol status.  “Let’s call up Kim HyungJun-ssi and Anae.”

Bride and Groom walked out on the dance floor as an up-tempo music began.  What wasn’t visible at first, was the wireless mic, HyungJun wore and the handheld one in her hand.  Claps and cheers rose in volume as HyungJun began to sing. (Cross the line)

Let’s cross the line let’s cross

Let’s cross the line let’s cross

I’m happy with staying as we are without any change

Just being together makes me happy

But as you know

There are still invisible lines that come between us

(So I wanna cut it off)

The couple's dancing was centered around an imaginary line.  The fact that HyungJun had singing and dancing abilities was well known, but YiHyun was a pleasant surprise.  Who knew how many weeks they had spent rehearsing.  Just when all their friends couldn't be more surprised, YiHyun placed the mic to and began a rap.  "Wau Unnie!"  Ilana exclaimed while clapping.

When the song was coming to a finish, HyungJun took her in his arms.

Oh, let’s cross the line girl

From friends to lovers

Oh, let’s cross the line girl

From friends to lovers

Let's stop this ambiguous,

cautious fight

Show me your heart, I will go to

you

Let’s cross the line let’s cross

 (Between you and me)

Let’s cross the line let’s cross

(We can get rid of this useless line)

JungMin hurried across the dance floor with a rope or string in his hand, YoungSaeng held the other end.  Once the rope was straightened across the floor, HyungJun and YiHyun stepped over it.  Turning off the Mic, HyungJun turned his wife to him and indulged in a slow kiss, lifting her off her feet for a moment.  When he placed her back down, he whispered in her ear:  "I'm looking forward to crossing over completely."

 - "Pyuntae (ert)," she hid her nervous laugh with one hand and smacked his shoulder with the other.

 - "Yah!  Don't forget you're still on the ship!" JungMin shouted, getting everyone's laughter.

HyungJun shrugged and pulled his wife in for one more kiss.  "Junnie-yah!"  She smacked his shoulder again, for embarrassing her.

 - "Aigoo, you're so cute!"  He pinched her cheek.  He took her hand and they bowed before their guests.

YoungSaeng was beginning to get the hang of being the MC.  "Chukahaeyo Kim-ssi and So-ssi!"  He clapped for his friend.  "Sinbu & Sinlang number two, please comes forward."

 - "Oppa has been on too many variety shows," Ilana laughed and looked to Mina who had a soft smile on her face.  She motioned to Suzy.

 - "Mina Unnie would have that face even if Oppa was just standing on his head."

Jihoo looked over at the two and smiled.  "Should we try it?"  JungMin asked, having walked back to his seat.

 - "Na would say, Oppa would never do that, hajiman …he's not the same Oppa I used to have," Ilana replied.

 - "Deh Unnie, we've all noticed the transformation," Suzy agreed.

Mina remained oblivious, eyes strictly focused on YoungSaeng.

 - "Jongie-yah...you haven't even told me what song we're dancing too," Emily complained as they stepped out onto the floor.

 - "Maja?  Ah...it's because nae Sinbu has never heard it before."  Emily felt a little wronged.  How could she dance their first dance as a married couple without even knowing the song?  KyuJong smiled at her sweetly.  He noticed her face was caught between disappointment and worry.  "Trust me, deh?"

Emily blushed, suddenly ashamed.  If he picked a song, then it most definitely would be special and meaningful.  "Arraso," she smiled back, with a new look of eager anticipation in her eyes.

The intro was unknown to her, but the way he looked at her and held her as if she were made of glass, made her not care if she knew the song or not.  What shocked the most was the singer of the song, was KyuJong.  She stopped dancing, in shock.  Not trusting himself to sing live and not tear up with joy, he made a professional recording of both song choices.  He had asked a favor from Harabeoji to let him use one of the conservatory ensembles to record the music.  “Jagiya, people are watching,” he held her a little more firmly and began to sing a duet with himself. (One Luv)

I’m so curious

Everything about you; even your littlest habits

Just reveal one thing to me

The one thing about you right in front of me

There was just something about this girl that drew him in.  They had only talked for five minutes and he didn't even know what about?  He thought perhaps they had established where she was from.  Obviously not Korean, but she was a Doctor, just like him and he knew he really wanted to know more about her.

All I need is one girl, is One Luv

You are my first

All I need is one girl, is One Luv

Only one thing I need

One luv one luv one luv one luv

When I see you, it’s Baby Baby Baby Baby Baby Baby

Your prim face, your calm voice

I want to engrave everything in my head so they won’t be erased.

Everything about her was so cute to him.  Perhaps it was her blatant Englishness, she stood out.  His quiet nature was the complete opposite.

You’re the background to my success and my secret

No one can copy your style, smell, smile

Pyoong – countless audiences today as well

Hey one and only girl, you know what I mean

The fact that she too came to work for the foundation gave him the courage to formally accept Dr. Jihoo and Harabeoji's offer.  It was a given, that he would accept, but he could still say ‘no'.  He thought the responsibility was too great with his limited experience.  Harabeoji and Dr. Jihoo were putting all their trust in him.  Then there was Ron HyeSu who had been doing the job for some time before KyuJong finally came on board.  He didn't want to displace the other Doctor.  It was Emily who encouraged him to talk it over with him, so he could have peace of mind, taking the position.

 - “I was only hired to manage the mobile clinic.  Everything else, Na was just helping temporarily until KyuJong Uissa returned from the military.  If Jihoo Uissa and Harabeoji hired Uissa, it’s because you’ve demonstrated the qualities they needed.”

With Emily’s encouragement and Dr. HyeSu’s, he could accept and look forward to building this portion of the foundation, to possibly stand on its own, just like the museum did.

You can’t stop this feeling

If I’m with you, it’s perfect – for you girl

You – everything is beautiful

What I need right now is one luv

He embraced her tightly once the song ended.  You’re perfect, nae one luv.”

Emily had tried to hold back the tears, but it was too late, they came down without her permission.  “That was beautiful!  Thank you!”  She sniffled into his coat jacket.  She didn’t know how it was his voice coming from the speaker; however it got there had required time, effort, and expense.

 - “Baby, jagiya, wae are you crying?  Mm?”  He kissed her temple; the rest of her face was buried in the jacket.

 - “I love you so much," she mumbled.

Everyone around them had been forgotten as they murmured to each other, still wrapped in an embrace.  “Haengbohkae that you’re mine.”

 - “I’m happy that I’m yours, too.”  All Korean words had fled her brain.  She could respond to his words but was unable to articulate her own.

Since the world around them had disappeared, it took YoungSaeng to bring them back to reality.  “Emily-ssi, na think Abeojim is waiting for his dance.”

Emily and KyuJong quickly lifted their heads, embarrassed.  HyunJoong was already escorting Mr. Blake onto the dance floor before the two could forget where they were again.  YoungSaeng cued the music and Frank Sinatra was heard over the speakers. (Swingin’ On A Star)

Would you like to swing on a star?

Carry moonbeams home in a jar?

And be better off than you are?

Or would you rather be a mule?

Mr. Blake laughed as he swung his daughter around the floor.  “You would follow me around the house asking me would you rather, questions from the moment I walked in the door.”

 - “You know you loved it.”

 - “I wanted to burn that book.”  His daughter laughed.  “Now you can pester your husband with your ‘Why’s’, ‘what if’s’, and ‘would you rather’s’.”

 - “I confess I already do.  There are so many things about this culture I don’t know yet and I want to so badly!”

 - “Don’t irritate your Mum-In-Law, I hear they can be formidable.”

 - “She’s a total sweetheart, Daddy.  But still, I won’t push my luck.”

 - “The house is too quiet without you; I’ll be glad to have you and KyuJong home even for just a few days.”

 - “I’ll tell Aisla to make more noise for you guys.”

Her Father laughed.  Their youngest daughter would lock herself in her studio and forget what time or day it was.  Sometimes it could be days before they saw her.  If her Mother didn’t take her a dinner plate, she would probably forget to eat.  Sometimes she really did and would have to reheat her dinner for breakfast.

So, you see, it's all up to you

You can be better than you are

You could be swingin' on a star

The song came to an end and her Father kissed her cheek.  “I’d say you’ve done pretty well for yourself, kiddo.”  He tucked her arm in his and delivered her back to her husband “I’m proud of you and I’m happy with your choice of husband.”  He shook KyuJong’s hand and clapped him on the back.

 - “Kansamnida Abeojim.”

While KyuJong, Emily, and her parents were finishing up their bonding, YoungSaeng decided to get the party started.  "Arraso…Everyone on the dance floor!"  He picked one of HyunJoong's songs to open the party with.  "Hey, fine baby, look at me... (Yes I will)."

Mostly everyone got out of their seats and began to dance and have fun.  At least most of the ladies did.  Mina and Suzy had already run off to their partners.  Ilana and JanDi were begging their husbands to take them out.  "Anieyo," Jihoo said.  "I'll stay and feed dtal.  Ka, have fun.  Na will join you on a slow song."

 - "Gu JunPyo, juseyo?"  JanDi pleaded.  "It's too crowded," he whined.  "Na will go later.  Who will watch the kids?"

 - "Gwenchana," Jihoo said, leaning in to give his wife a kiss on the cheek.  "Na do will go later.  InHei wants to dance, it's not fair for her to stay and watch the babies."

 - "Arraso...," Ilana and JanDi went off, sulking.  Their frowns didn't last long as they got caught up with everyone else.  Wanting to start the party with a bang, they followed with DejaVu, and Out of the Club, in which YoungSaeng and Mina, unwittingly took center stage.  Everyone was surprised, that she knew the exact dance routine that YoungSaeng used.  After one more song named Ah-ha, Ilana thought her feet could not take anymore and she needed a drink or perish.  That's when the tempo was brought down.  The slower music began and before Ilana could run out for her husband, he was already walking toward her and JunPyo following.  "You came!"  She immediately let herself get swept into his arms.

 - “My heart beats for you, my breath controlled by you," he quoted.  They were already a few measures into 'U', the song that had been the first dance at their wedding.  The rest of the words faded he pulled her in and pushed her out, both with a soft smile on their lips and eyes only for each other.  The song ended and Jihoo caught her lips very softly.  "Haengbohkae that na found you."

 - "Nado nae Sarang, na do."

That song ended and was replaced by another of a similar tempo.  YiHyun laughed as her husband swung her crazily around the floor while singing along.  "I want to be with you alone without anyone knowing.  Never ever let you go.  I can't look into your eyes.  Baby, you're my girl.  You're so beautiful (Long night)”

 - “Junnie-yah, you better not let go, ever,” she said.

 - “Anieyo…Girl, you're so eye-blinding (It's alright).  Should I approach you?  Oh, girl, I want to match my steps and walk with you…”

 - “Junnie, did you really think so?  Eommonim tricked you into going on the marriage date.”

 - “Na didn’t call you for the second date because Umma asked me too.  Jagi knew Na kept peeking at you from the corner of my eyes.  Na had to have Umma call Eommonim to set up a second date.  Na was too nervous.”

YiHyun laughed.  Truthfully, she was waiting by the phone in hopes that he would call.  “Ah, then this is my part,” she began to word the 'rap'.  “Every, every, every night, in the same dream…I look for you and wonder and wake up.  (Are you like me) if you can't sleep, because of thoughts of me.  (Baby want you love) if you will hold my hand I will have the whole world like a rich girl.  Please come closer to me baby boy.”  Knowing they were amongst friends, she stopped dancing to pull him by the shirt and locked him in a heated embrace until after the song ended.  Hoots, cheers, and whistles went up all around them.

YiHyun’s face was the color of a Christmas Poinsettia and she smacked her husband’s shoulder, again.  “See what you make me do?!”

HyungJun laughed and brought her head into is chest.  “Never change, jagi, juseyo?”

While the dancing continued, Ilana and Jihoo stepped off the dance floor.  “Should we go for a walk?  Or are your feet tired already?”  Jihoo asked.

 - “What of HaEun?”

 - “Gwenchana, she and InSo are sound asleep already and one of the other couples are keeping an eye on them.”

 - “Guerae…not outside, deh?”  It was roughly twenty degrees outside if that.

 - “Arraso,” he smiled at her.  The cold would never be her favorite.

They walked down to the deck below, where a few others were also taking a break from the music and dancing upstairs.  The Tea, coffee, and desserts had all been moved there and Ilana was excited to see rice cake on the table.  “I forgot about those!”

 - “Anja and I’ll bring us tea and cake.”

Jihoo walked back within a minute.  “Masheesuhyo, Ilana took a bite of her cake.

 - “Deh,” Jihoo agreed.  “HyungJun-ssi and YiHyun-ssi really know the industry vendors.  Their wedding won’t be easily forgotten.  It’s a shame Kike Hyeongnim wasn’t able to come.”

 - "Deh…he wanted to spend these holidays with his Umma and the boys, since it was their first Christmas together.   They celebrate continuously until the sixth.  Had it been any other time and his schedule was free, ara he would've been here.  He promised to try to visit while we're here so that he could see the namja face to face again."

 - "Hyeongnim is a very patient namja.  All those years being your Oppa gave him the perfect training."

 - "Yah!"  She set her plate on her lap and poked her husband’s side.  "Take...that...back," she said in between pokes.

 - "Shiro," he hooked his arm around her shoulders and brought her head to lean on his shoulder.

 - "Sarang!  The tea!"  She had a cup of tea in her hand, thankfully it was half gone or it would have ended up in Jihoo's lap.  His own cup of tea was safely resting on the table and he took her cup from her hand as well.

 - "Choah," he said, as they looked out the window to the black night.  "It's been awhile since we've been on a date, just the two of us.  Mianhae."

 - "Wae Mianhae?  Dtal is always our cute third wheel.  Sarang doesn't want to leave her behind any more than I do."

 - "Majayo.  It's difficult to leave her behind when you're still nursing her.  Still, Na don't want to lose us because we're too busy being parents only.  Na owe Sarang two hundred and eighty-three more fountains.  Na would like if we could see a few of them, just the two of us.  Na haven't seen a musical performance in a while, Na would like to take anae to the Seoul Philharmonic or even to the conservatory.  Would Sarang like that?"

 - "Mmm..."

 - "We don't have to be away from dtal for too long," he grinned.  Their little princess was just too cute and sweet, it made him guilty to leave her.  Also, perhaps they both felt the loss of their own parents and wanted to make sure their daughter never had to know what that felt like.

Ilana sat up suddenly.  "Sarang!  Today is the First!"

 - "Deh...?"

 - "Three months from today we'll have been married two years!  Can you believe how quickly the time has passed?"

Jihoo brought her back down to him and wrapped her in his arms.  "Sarang, every day at your side is new and exciting.  Na think watching our dtal grow and change, almost daily, has also made the days fly by.  Eottoke?  How do we slow down time?  When you were away from me, no matter how busy nae days were, they went slowly.  Now, before we know it, we'll have been married two years."

Ilana relaxed in his arms; it was true, she didn’t want to be away from HaEun any longer than necessary.  She closed her eyes, reminiscing their own wedding and all the little moments afterward that have brought them so much joy.

Jihoo was enjoying their solitude, knowing they would need to go back up soon.  He was thinking of their anniversary and how to make it special when they were interrupted by an embarrassed HyunJoong.

HyunJoong had respectfully begun interrupting couples who wanted this private time away from the party upstairs.  Ilana and her husband looked so comfortable, he was hesitant to interrupt.  But if he didn’t, Maknae would come down and make a raucous.  “Jeogiyo,” he tapped Jihoo on the shoulder.

 - “Oh, HyunJoong-ssi, gwenchana?”  Jihoo and Ilana turned back to face him.  They were facing the window and HyunJoong had come up behind them.

 - “Deh, mianhaeyo Maknae is requesting everyone upstairs.”  They were well into the second hour and almost the third hour of cruising the harbor and some of the dancing had tapered off.  That was just not allowed.

 - “Arraseo,” Jihoo said.  We should check on HaEun anyway.”

 - “Annyeong hashiminika!”  YoungSaeng said, through the mic.  Sinbu-deul and Sinlang-deul say kansamnida for joining them this evening.”  He inclined his head.  "At this time, we want everyone on the dance floor for some fun.”  YoungSaeng hadn’t really attended weddings on the ship and wasn’t as exposed to the reception culture.  JungMin, being a bartender and HyungJun, the photographer had plenty of experience.

JungMin took the mic, next.  “Some of you might know this and some won’t but everyone, follow me.  We’re going to turn our hands into chicken beaks, like this…” he demonstrated, “and open and close four times.”  People were looking around a bit unsure, but most had had more than enough alcohol to reduce the hesitation and jumped right in.  “Now flap your arms four times…and shake your tail feathers four times…and clap four times.  Algeusubnida?”  He gave a thumbs up, after demonstrating.  The music (Chicken dance) began and he proceeded to put it all together.

Ilana looked at Jihoo and nodded her head, laughing:  “andwae!”

 - “Na agree with Sarang, anja.”

 - “Shiro,” Gu JunPyo was getting ready to escape this undignified game.

 - “Appa!  It’s fun!  Na learned at school!”  InHei, who had been getting a bit bored, suddenly sat up in eagerness.

 - “Gu JunPyo, just try it…” He was being dragged into the mayhem by his wife and child.  Halfway through, people would see his sheepish grin as he enjoyed himself.  They played a group of organized dance songs, including a fast beat song called ‘Cha-cha slide, which gave the dance steps within the lyrics.  Jihoo and Ilana were not allowed to sit out by Mina and Emily, who came looking for them.   “This one’s not as silly, trust me,” Mina said.  It was quite a lot of fun and even Jihoo was smiling.  HyungJun and JungMin continued to torture the guests into having fun.  No matter how silly or uncoordinated anyone thought they were with these organized western dances such Macarena or Cotton Eyed Joe, had everyone too busy laughing at themselves to care too much about their neighbor.

 - “Kansamnida!”  YoungSaeng announced into the mic.  “We’ll be back with more special music in a little while.  Until then, please, continue to enjoy the dance floor.”

Jihoo, Ilana, JanDi, JunPyo, Mina, and Suzy all went back to sit down.  The babies had been left sound asleep in their carriers, thick quilts canceling out the light and noise.  “She’s still sleeping,” Ilana said relieved as she peeked under the blanket.

 - “I’ll get us a pitcher of water,” Jihoo said.

 - “Gomawo!”  Ilana was fanning herself and so were the others.  “It’s twenty degrees outside and I’m sweating.”

 - “I can’t believe I just did the Chicken Dance and the Macarena.  I’m going to have to have a discussion with my boyfriend,” Mina said.

 - “Speaking of the namja, where did they go?”  JanDi asked.  “Here come the Sinbu as well.”

 - “Annyeong hasseyo,” YiHyun inclined her head.  “We haven’t had a chance to say hello.  Mollah where the Sinlang went?”

 - “Mina’s namja chingu and Suzy’s nampyeon disappeared too.”

Jihoo came at that time and began pouring water for his wife and the other ladies.  InHei had taken over Gu JunPyo’s lap.  “That was fun, deh Appa?”  She said, getting comfortable.

Gu JunPyo chuckled.  “Dehhh, that was fun.”

 - “The great Gu JunPyo dancing the Macarena?  What would the others say?”  Jihoo couldn’t resist teasing his best friend.

 - “Yah…the great Gu JunPyo knows how to relax and have fun too.”

 - “Deh, Appa is daeback!”  The little girl threw her arms around her Appa and kissed his cheek.

 - “Pigonhaeyo?”

 - “Deh, Appa.”

 - “Would she like to go lay down in the Bride’s room?”  Mina asked.

 - “Anieyo gwenchanayo,” JanDi said.  She’ll be fine.  "She just wants some time with Appa."

 - "Little girls love their Appa," Ilana looked over at her husband who was now talking casually with JunPyo and InHei.

 - "Majayo," Emily said, thinking of her own Father.  She looked across the dance floor and saw he was engaged in talking with someone.  One of the other Doctors from the clinics.  She smiled and wave at them.

Mina's phone began to buzz.  "Oh?  It's Orabeoni.  Suzy-ah, he says to arrange two chairs on the dance floor for Sinbu-deul."

Suzy clapped her hands in joy"This is going to be good.  Mina Unnie, eeliwa;" Suzy was pulling Mina up by the hand.

The two Brides looked at each other in confusion, then at Ilana, who was smiling in anticipation.  "Wait...the namja are up to something, aren't they?"  YiHyun remembered Suzy's wedding and Ilana's wedding where they all got up and sang.  "Omo Ilana-yah, what are they planning?"  She asked nervously.

 - "Mollahyo Unnie?"

Suzy and Mina returned for the Brides.  "Arraseo, Unnie-deul, kaja."  The two Brides followed, a little nervously.  They didn't have official 'Bride and Groom' chairs, but Mina improvised with tablecloths and ribbons.  Now, they had special chairs in which to sit in while they were serenaded.  "Anjaeyo, juseyo," Mina announced over the DJ mic before scurrying out of the way.

 - "The wind blows and I slightly lean my head on your shoulder and closed my eyes,"(Stand by me) HyungJun walked in and placed a white rose on his Bride's lap, then went to sit down.

 - "Like the morning that comes only my heart is warm," YoungSaeng was right behind him and he inclined his head to the two Brides before sitting down.

HyunJoong followed YoungSaeng, and then KyuJong:  "To feel you I know oh know," he placed a white rose on Emily's lap.  He led the rest right into the chorus and finished solo:

Stand by me by me, always together by me

, my baby hold me now forever.

Why is my heart beating like this?

You better trust me now

I will always protect you

HyungJun showed off his vocal range for YiHyun by belting out a few high notes at the end of one of his phrases:  "With the words, I've practiced for so long, I will keep you safe."  Needless to say, she was impressed.     This led into the final chorus and JungMin finished it up.

I will always protect you...

The Brides were smiling so brightly and the guests clapped and cheered.  The five took a bow and the two Grooms waved at their Brides, happy that they were happy.  "Choahyo?"  JungMin asked the Brides?

 - "Deh!"

 - "Daeback!"

 - "Haengbohkaeyo...nae chingu have one more song for their Sinbu."

 - "Sinbu, na want you to stand up for this next song," HyungJun said.  "I don't like that sitting thing for this song."

 - "This song is dedicated to you," Jung Min said.

 - "What's the name of the song?"  HyunJoong asked.

 - "You are my Heaven," KyuJong replied.

The Brides and everyone stood, they had made a huge dance floor, enough for everyone to fit if they wanted too.  YoungSaeng began:  "say my love... when you see my heart.  Say my love... when you see my heart."

Followed by KyuJong:  "Give me permission to fill you with my laughter honey.  Don't hesitate, you are the only one to me, honey.  Like that shining star, like a sweet kiss.  My precious love oh baby, I will be protecting you."

Just as they rehearsed they split apart for the rap portion of the song, getting the room animated by jumping, running, skipping and generally being silly.

I am able to hold you tight in my arms

Makes me flutter 2, 3 times more and my heart skips

Nobody can stop my heart towards you, even if I don't know

In the end, I will finally arrive in your arms

I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, love today

I love you, I love you, only you, love tonight

I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, love for you

Only one for me, oh my love for you

The room was responding, Ilana and JanDi even got Jihoo and JunPyo on their feet to clap and sing along.  InHei had 'woken up' at the sound of the fun music.  She was jumping and clapping along with the guys.  The first opportunity to wow the Brides came as YoungSaeng sang "Love is a joy that makes me ravish and dizzy..."  KyuJong & HyungJun went up to their brides, surprising them as they took their hand and spun them enough to lock their arms around them.  Two lines later, the girls were being spun back into place.  The Groom's quickly stepped back into line with the others.

The song was about the happiness that comes with being in love, with being with the person you love.  Your heart is no longer your own as it belongs to your love.  It makes you a bit crazy at times, but the simplest embrace makes you happy.  Your loved one's scent makes you happy.  The smallest detail about your love brings such joy.

It was easy to see the two Brides were well pleased with their serenade.  Their glowing smiles said it all.  The song was coming to an end, the five split up again, leaving KyuJong & HyungJun in the middle.

I love you, I love you, love today

I love you, I love you, love tonight

I love you, I love you, love for you

Only one for me, Oh my love for you

YoungSaeng sang the final line:  "I will only love you..."  KyuJong and HyungJun, who were directly in front of their Brides quickly closed the gap in front of them.  Claps and whistles were heard as the surprised Brides received the sweet and unhurried kiss of their Grooms.

 - "Choah?"  KyuJong asked, with a shy smile.

 - "The song or the kiss?"  Emily asked, draping her arms around his neck.

Before KyuJong could answer his mischievous Bride, YiHyun could be heard next to them.  "Junnie-ah!  That was daeback!  Omo-Omo-Omo!"  She bounced excitedly.

 - "Choah, when nae jagiya is haengbohkae," he lifted her off her feet and swung her around.

The other three walked back to their table to receive praises for their talents and hugs from their significant others.  "Nomu choahyo!"  Mina said, taking YoungSaeng's hand in hers.

 - "Yeobo," Suzy hugged her husband, "when did you guys put this all together?"

 - "They have a great Sunbae," Ilana gave credit to HyunJoong, who stood by a little awkwardly.

 - "Anieyo!  We all contributed to the planning."

 - "Everyone did an excellent job, I'm sure Sinbu and Sinlang-deul will always have fond memories of this day," Jihoo said.  His wife sat next to him and wrapped her arm around his, remembering their own special day and all the meaningful songs HyunJoong and the guys sang for them.

The DJ had started up again and people had begun to assemble back on the dance floor, including the Brides and Grooms.  "Everyone is dancing again," Suzy said, wistfully.

 - "Is KangMin alright?  Should we go back out?"  JungMin asked.

 - "Na better feed him and then we can go back out.  There's only an hour left of the party."

 - "Deh, Na should check on HaEun, just be safe.  Sarang, can we go out and dance after?"

 - "Deh Sarang."

Mina was already pulling on YoungSaeng's hand.  "Don't take too long, guys," she said while dragging her boyfriend back out to the floor.

JanDi also took a peek at InHo in his carrier.  He was still asleep, as was HaEun.  "Na pigonhaeyo," InHei said, hanging on JunPyo.

 - "Chincha?"  JunPyo hoisted her into his arms.  "Does InHei-yah want to dance with Appa?"  InHei giggled, nodding as JunPyo walked with her to the dance floor. (Girl)

 - "Aigoo, dtal took nae dance partner," JanDi smiled at the pair and then turned to HyunJoong who was about to sit.  "HyunJoong-ssi, kaja, don't sit alone, we're all chingu."

 - "Deh, Kaja," Ilana urged.

 - "Arraseo."  Everyone was dancing in a giant group.  Like JanDi said, they were all friends or at the very least acquaintances.

 - "Oh, Girl, Girl, Girl, U Know! You’re my all!  I know, know, know, I know! Only You!"  YiHyun, with her husband singing along, danced their way over to them.

 - "Choahyo?"  She asked.

 - "Deh!Mina replied while the others nodded their heads.

 - "Yah, having fun?"  HyungJun hung on his Sunbae's shoulder.

 - "Ayyy...disrespectful as always," HyunJoong mock scolded.

 - "Jwosongnmnida, HyunJoong-ssi," YiHyun respectfully inclined her head.  "Na will try to work on his manners."

 - "Gwenchanayo, YiHyun-ssi, he's a lost cause."

 - "Junnie Oppa has always been very kind and courteous to me," Ilana defended.

 - "Except when he dragged you off the ship in Costa Rica, was it?"

 - "YoungSaeng-ssi is just as guilty as his dongsaeng, if not more so or has he forgotten his role in that escapade?"

YoungSaeng grinned, "ah...deh...the end justified the means, deh?  Cinderella enjoyed herself."

Ilana narrowed her eyes at her know-it-all Oppa, not sure how to respond.  Jihoo laughed and wrapped his arms around her.  "It's best not to respond, Sarang."

 - "Aigoo, nampyon takes the side of nae Oppa-deul now?"

 - "Deh..." he kissed her cheek.  "Does that make up for it?"

 - "Mollah..."

JanDi was dancing next to JunPyo and InHei, who was still in his arms.  "Choah to see nae Sunbae so happy," she said.

InHei, being the smart child she was, asked:  "Waeyo Umma?  Ajussi was not happy?"

Jihoo smiled at his favorite 'niece' by default.  "InHei-yah...naega even happier with Anae and HaEun at my side."

 - "Because Ajussi was lonely with just Harabeoji for company?"

 - "Maja, InHei-yah."

 - "Appa, were you lonely before Umma and me and now InHo?"

 - "Nomu..." JunPyo smiled at his wife.  He couldn't imagine what his life would have been like, had she not stormed into it.  "Yah, jagiya...you're not as light as your dongsaeng.  Here, let's give Ajussi Jihoo some practice."

JunPyo went over to Jihoo and InHei practically threw herself into his arms, making the ladies smile at such a sweet display.  "Aigoo...you're getting so big.  You'll be as tall as Umma soon."  InHei clung to his neck like she'd done since she could remember.

 - "Imo, Ajussi...when can Na visit your house, again?"

 - "Mollah, InHei-yah...when you're out of school, we're in Seoul.  We'll try to plan for it, deh?  If Umma and Appa agree."

InHei jumped out of Jihoo's arms and clung from JunPyo's waist.  "Appa Juseyo?  Nomu nomu saranghae..."

 - "Oh oh..., her aegyo is better than all of ours," Suzy said.  She and JungMin had just joined them.

YoungSaeng was getting tired of the conversation and wanted some alone time with his girlfriend.  The music switched from one song to another and YoungSaeng thought that was the perfect time to make their escape.  Gently tugging at Mina's hand, he led her to their table.  She took a drink from her water bottle and peeked in the baby carriers to make sure they were all fine.  When she felt her coat being slipped onto her back, she turned.  “Kaja...let’s go for a walk,” YoungSaeng said.

 - “It’s cold out…,” Mina tried to protest.

 - “Na will keep you warm,” he said.

 - “Orabeoni better.”

YoungSaeng flashed his Otter grin, half knowing she wouldn’t tell him ‘no’.

Emily was having a great time, dancing with everyone, but the captain had announced they would be docking in about forty minutes.  They were heading straight from the ship to the airport, so they needed to get changed.  Her parents promised to take everything back to their studio for them.  Jongie-yah, I’m going to change,” she cupped her hand over his ear so that he could hear her.

Before she walked away, he grabbed her hand, with a playful smile on his face.  Nado.”

 - “Yah...you’re up to something?”

 - “Anieyo…” KyuJong put on his most innocent face.  It was easy to do, he was the sweetest, most gentle man ever.  “Na want to walk with Sinbu.”

KyuJong had stashed his change of clothes in the Bride's room before they arrived.  His Mother-in-law had stashed it behind the decorative backdrop they had put up.

They arrived just outside of the room and Emily forgot about the buttons in the back of her dress.  Her husband had distracted her.  “Oh no, I forgot about the buttons!  Call Umma, Mina and YoungSaeng were on the dance floor.  We don’t have much time.”

 - “Na can undo your buttons, he was already walking ahead of her into the room.

 - “Jongie-yah...no fooling around.  We don’t have time.”

 - “Ara…” he gave her a quick kiss.  “My bag is just behind the drape.  Here, let me get your buttons."  He couldn't resist placing a soft kiss on her neck.  "Aigoo...na Sinbu is cold."  He chuckled and placed another kiss on her back as he parted the opening as he went.  The soft touch was giving her goosebumps.

KyuJong was not in a huge hurry and continued, brushing her warm back with his fingers.  They may be docking in thirty minutes, but it took longer than that to anchor and get ready for disembarkation and to get all the guests out.  They were also close enough to Incheon, that he wasn't worried about missing their flight.  He was disappointed when he reached the last button and the last kiss on her soft back.  He brought his hands to her hips and slowly wrapped them in front of her.  "Saranghae, nae aleumdaun Sinbu (my beautiful bride)."  He didn't kiss her, just nuzzled her cheek with his.

 - "Jongie...saranghae," she reached back to hold his face, cherishing the sweet moment.  Suddenly Emily remembered she was supposed to be changing.  "Omo!  We need to change!  Pali, pali!"

KyuJong hugged her tighter.  "Our flight doesn't leave until one.  Even if it takes us an hour to disembark, it only takes thirty minutes to get to the airport."

 - "Jongie!!  We'll miss the last dance.  We're paying for this party, we might as well enjoy it."

 - "Arraso...arraso..." he turned her to face him.  "First, jagi is going to show me the items that poem was making you obsess about."

Her eyes opened wide and she giggled.  "Was I obsessing?"

 - "Deh, jagiya...you kept muttering the poem and na heard you and Aisla cheoje (sister-in-law) talking about it several times as the wedding day got closer."

 - "Mianhae...!  Sinlang thinks I'm micheousso?"  She tried to distract him, by removing his tie.

 - "Sinbu, I'm a very patient, namja.  Na won't be distracted.  Besides, this was important to you."

 - "Anieyo...it's just a silly tradition, but it's fun."

 - "Na want to know..., juseyo?"

She sighed, getting embarrassed by his scrutiny.  There were many times she could sense him staring at her.  It wasn't a creepy, skin crawling, erted stare, just a soft and loving stare.  When she turned her head, she would see a soft smile on his lips.  "Something Old:  Aisla made my garter from Umma's wedding dress."  Getting down on his knees, KyuJong had gone a bit pink but wanted this little bit of intimacy with his wife.  "Jongie what are you doing!"

His hands were already under her skirt and teasing her stockinged leg.  "Na want to help Sinbu, she has to remove it, anyway."  He didn't even ask what leg it was on but assumed it was her right.  He moved his hands slowly upward and downward, repeating until he found the garter.  With the same process, he brought it down her leg.  "Yippeun," he said, studying the detailed lace and ribbon.  He looked up as she was trying to avoid his eyes.

 - "Can we stop?"

 - "Anieyo," he said standing up.

 - "You're mean," she pouted; he was enjoying making her get hot, then cold and break out into gooseflesh.  "Something new:  my wedding dress."

 - "Yippeun."  The dress was already open in the back, he smoothed it off her shoulders, treating each one to a kiss, then nipped at her collarbone, bringing the dress down her body, just like he did the garter.  He couldn't resist giving her stomach a light kiss, making her tremble, and then her thighs.  "Next?"  He lifted her out of the puddle of satin and lace.

 - "Something borrowed:    Umma's freshwater pearls."  At least, she thought, pearls were innocent enough.

He stepped behind her, at least this way, he could hide his own blushing face.  He wanted to treat her like something most rare and precious and valuable, with feather-light caresses and a delicate touch.  Thankfully, the clasp came undone easily and he let his lips come into contact with the flesh that had been covered by the necklace.  "Yippeun."

Emily Tilted her head back, wanting more of his lips and warm breath on her neck.  "Jongie...hajima."  She was standing in nothing more, than her backless strapless bra, flimsy lace covered underwear and thigh high stockings with a garter.  Her shoes had been left in the puddle of dress and yet she felt warm as if wearing a winter coat.

 - "What's next?"  His lips left her neck, but he let his hands run down her arms.

 - “Something blue,” Emily whispered.

His lips grazed the back of her neck until they reached her earlobe.  “Do you want me to remove the earrings?”

 - A-ani.”  Though she wondered what would happen if she’d said yes.

He turned her around and when she finally controlled herself enough to face him; saw his eyes dance merrily while a sweet smile adorned his lips.  She was half tempted to forget the flight and drive as fast as they could back to their studio.  “Anything else?”

 - "A sixpence in my shoe."

KyuJong glanced at the puddle of dress; her shoes weren’t visible.  “Wasn’t it uncomfortable?”

 - “Oh God!  Jongie!

He scooped her up and was now depositing her onto a chair.  “Jagiya, which foot?”

 - “The left...”

Before she could ask ‘why?’ he was already holding her foot in his hands and his fingers began rubbing small, firm circles on her heel.  “Choah?”  He asked, not looking up, but continuing his work from the heel to the ball of her foot.  All Emily could do was nod.

YoungSaeng and Mina didn’t last long outside, it was just too cold.  Though with the small lights and lanterns decorating the ship, it was a perfect setting for a romantic interlude.  He had found them the perfect hiding spot.  A few brave guests had the same idea, but they remained hidden.  “Orabeoni, it’s cold.”

YoungSaeng was blocking most of the wind, it was fortunate he’d at least grabbed his scarf.  Na promised to keep you warm.”  He ed his coat and made her wrap her arms around him.  He’d seen the move plenty of times in the movies.  He wasn’t sure how well it worked, but it was worth trying.  “Choah?”

 - “Deh, that’s better.”  Unable to resist her lips in exact alignment with his, he pulled her flush against him and his lips met hers.

 - “Mm!”  She was caught by surprise.  His lips were cold and yet, she seemed to be feeling warmer.

He arranged his feet so that they locked with hers, like a puzzle.  The coat hampered the feel of her body, but their closeness alone rose his body temperature.  He enjoyed a slow unhurried kiss, he loosed his hold on her only slightly.  His hand urged her closer and she readily complied, bringing her hands up his back, under his coat.

Mina was floating on warm air and when he ended the kiss, she was left to crash.

YoungSaeng smirked at her moan of distress.  "More?"

As if she could ever get enough of his kisses?  She nodded her head, "mani (a lot )."  With one hand splayed on his back, she brought the other to his chest, kissing him a little hungrier.  Picking up on her need, he placed a cold hand over the scarf on her neck and let his fingers caress her jaw.  The other hand, on her shoulder, holding her in place as he parted her lips and fed her desire.

YoungSaeng gave a little groan and slowed their kiss down; with a final nibble to her jaw, he tucked her into his arms.  "Jagiya makes me lose all control."

Mina's laugh was muffled in his chest.  She playfully nipped at the button of his shirt.  "So does Orabeoni."

 - "Yah...if Mina-yang keeps that up, she might not make it home tonight."  She hadn't spent the night in his apartment yet and couldn't help working toward that goal.

 - "I have to work tomorrow."

 - "Friday?"

 - "Orabeoni!"  She smacked his chest, but he grabbed her hand and kissed it.

 - "Saranghae."  He felt her burrowing into him for warmth.  Though they weren't directly exposed to the wind, it was still only in the low twenties (-6 c) out.  There would be snow flurries later.  "Jagiya, we need to continue where we were or go inside before Mina-yang freezes.  Gwenchana, if we continue where we were."

 - "Deh...," she snuggled as close as possible.  "...hajima, na can feel my teeth chattering.  Na will bite you."

 - "Wouldn't be the first time," he teased.

 - "Orabeoni!"  Her cheeks were at least getting warmed again.

 - "Arraso...we'll have a glass of wine to warm you," he kissed her lips once more.

 - "Kaja!"  She grabbed his hand, ready to get out from the cold.

They would be cheated out of truly enjoying their glass of wine.  They would run into HyunJoong and JungMin having soju in the bar.  Suzy, though exhausted from being a new Mom, didn't want to stop dancing.  YiHyun and HyungJun and JunPyo and JanDi were still on the dance floor as well as Emily's sister and YiHyun's friend.  Everyone else had scattered, leaving JungMin and HyunJoong itching for a visit to the bar.

 - "When you're done with MS, we'll write music together," JungMin said.

 - "Groemyo!  Are you going to put your name out there while you're on leave from work?"

 - "Deh...Na have done some work for the locals in L.A. and even got to collaborate with JayPark in Seattle.  I was able to meet Dynamic Duo in L.A. and they said they'd give me a chance to work with them if they feel I'm a fit."

 - "Chukahae!"  HyunJoong clinked his glass with JungMin's.

 - "JungMin-ah...wouldn't it be fun to work on something for all of us?"

 - "Chinchayo?  Wau...that's daeback!  Once you're back out there and settled and YoungSaeng is done with his debut year, we can make it happen."

 - "Choah...Na will let you take control and we'll tell the others when the time is right."

 - "Okay, compadre!"  They took another shot.

 - "Mworago?"

 - "Chingu!"  JungMin explained"You really need to work on your Spanish for your Latin American fans."

 - "Unlike JungMin, Na can only learn one language at a time."

 - "Deh...not everyone can have nae talent."

 - "Here...shut up and drink," HyunJoong poured them another shot.

Jihoo and Ilana decided they better check on their princess and told JanDi they would check on their prince as well.  "Choah, JanDi convinced JunPyo-ssi to come.  They seem to be enjoying themselves," Ilana said.

 - "Deh, running Shinwah is very stressful, even though he has his Noona to help him.  And JanDi will never shake the habit of overworking.  The only thing that slows her down is InHei and KangMin.  If it weren't for JunPyo's spur of the moment vacations, she would never take a break."

 - "Deh...Harabeoji said he had to chase her away from the clinic after KangMin was born," Ilana laughed.  They both sat back down and Ilana leaned her head on his shoulder with a smile on her face.

 - "Haengbohkae?"

 - "Mmm...nomu!  Nae chingu are happy; Naega happy and blessed to be a witness to their special moments.”

 - “Haengbohkae and blessed to see nae anae’s joy."  They remained quiet, watching all the dancers.  The ship should be returning soon, but he thought perhaps they would be going overtime.  He chuckled to himself.

 - "Sarang?"

 - "Anieyo...na was just remembering when Sarang first willingly leaned her head against nae arm just like this."  He wrapped his arm, lovingly around her and giving her forehead a kiss.

 - "Sarang was always dragging me somewhere, hajima just leaning on your arm?  Na don't remember the first time."

 - "It was WooBin and JaeKyung's wedding.  We sat, side by side, drinking tea and watching the dancing.  Sarang was tired and Na leaned your head against nae shoulder."  Ilana smiled at the memory.  "Na didn't even know my own feelings back then.  Na just knew, it felt completely natural to hold you in nae arms while we danced"

 - "Deh, Na can't believe how easily Sarang made me trust him."

 - "Easily?"  He scoffed.

 - "Aigoo, maybe not that easily," she giggled.  "Sarang...Na...just knew I always felt safe around you.  Whether it was my hand in yours or your scent when you comforted me, Yoon Jihoo became a need for me.  Na don't remember all of what happened when I had that horrible flu, hajiman...Na remembered your scent and your voice were important to me."

 - "Na think Sarang is part goyangi herself," he tapped her nose with his index finger.

 - "Anieyo!  Nae heart and Na brain just weren't communicating.  Nae brain was still afraid, yet nae heart knew you were the one.  Na remember HyunJoong-ssi told me once, 'when you find your true love, it will be completely natural, not forced.  It will come upon you when you least expect it and feel like it's always been'."

 - "And is that what happened?"

 - "Mmm...it sure did.  Nae heart and brain caught up with each other while we were dancing at the opening of Club Eden.  Ara right then and there it was you that had filled my heart so completely and I didn't even know when it happened.  Just like HyunJoong-ssi said, it felt like it had always been."

 - "Nado Sarang.  You drew me in like no one had.  Na felt myself come alive again at your side.  Though, Na had met Yesu and accepted him, Na was still wandering.  Not listening to what his plans were for me.  Hajima, he works everything for the good of those who love him and he works it within our own natural realm.  However Sarang arrived in New York, he used it for the two of us to find each other."

 - "And find each other we did," Ilana chuckled silently as she remembered being terrified of him at first.

 - "Na praise God he turned our stubborn hearts."

 - "Mianhae, Sarang...Na took too long and made you suffer.  And that's precisely what Na didn't want to do."

 - "Sarang suffered more than I did;" he lifted her head off his shoulder and gazed at her with unveiled eyes.  Since the day the day she woke up from her fever, he always allowed her to see the care, concern, love and affection in his eyes.  Sometimes it was softer and sometimes it was brighter, like this moment.  "Sarang knows the song, 'I will Praise You in This Storm'?  It says 'I barely hear Your whisper through the rain:  I'm with you'.  Nado barely heard the whisper.  Choah I did and Na could praise him for the storm and the blessings he gave us afterward."

 - "Deh!"  She gave his cheek a sweet kiss, just like when before they were officially dating.

 - "Everyone, we'll be docking soon," the DJ announced, having received word from the Captain.  "Enjoy these final songs with someone you love."

The music began for 'Love,' the song Jihoo and Ilana called theirs.  "Kaja," Jihoo took her hand, leading her onto the dance floor, while those dancing solo scrambled to find their other halves.

 - "Yah...last few songs," JungMin said.  "Kaja!"

 - "One last shot!"  HyunJoong said.  "I'll sing the last song for all the couples."

 - "Daeback!"  Mina clinked her glass with the rest of the guys.  She and YoungSaeng had joined the JungMin and HyunJoong drinking party.  Mina had immediately been initiated into their drinking party.  She couldn't drink as much as they could, but she wasn't too bad either.  Not allowed to pace herself she was just a little tipsy.  The guys had made her pound a glass of beer with a tall shot soju.  "HyunJoong-ssi is so good to his chingu," she fangirled just a little; the drink making her lose her shyness with him.

HyunJoong laughed, "nae try, Mina-ssi."  He and JungMin walked away toward the stairs.

YoungSaeng steadied his girlfriend.  She'd done him proud, but her fangirling irked him a bit.  "Yah," he said as they walked.  "Didn't na tell my Mina-yang, she couldn't have another idol in her life?"

 - "Aigoo...jealous namja chingu.  HyunJoong-ssi is nice and handsome and has a beautiful voice," she boyfriend.  "YoungSaeng-ssi is jealous, moody..." she threw her arms around his neck, grinning.  His eyes were narrowing and getting dark with irritation.  "Sings like an angel kisses like the devil...," she planted her lips firmly to his.  The sultry kiss was interrupted by the DJ once again.  Her face a little pink from her teasing and the overwhelming pleasure of their kiss, "...and the only one for me."

 - "Na yeoja likes to drive me crazy, deh?"  He dragged her outside and out of sight and kissed her again quickly and fiercely.  The previous song had already ended.  We better go, Sunbae is taking my job as MC.”  HyunJoong could be heard doing a sound check.

 - “Where is the other Sinbu and Sinlang.”

 - “Deh...they disappeared a long time ago!”  Someone said.

 - “Leave it to the quiet ones!"

 - “Aigoo...we can’t end this party without them,” HyunJoong said.

 - "They'll be up soon!"  Emily's Mother shouted.  "They are changing!"

 - "Changing...deh..." Maknae snickered.

 - "Junnie...you're so bad!"  His wife said.

 - "Maknae's thinking is probably not far off," JungMin also jumped in.

Suzy put her hands up to her ears.  "Yah!  Knock it off!  I don't need any mental pictures of Emily and Uissanim!"

 - "Yah...KangMin Umma...what are you thinking?"  JungMin asked.

 - "Amugotdo anya!”  Suzy ran off, leaving the laughter behind.  She checked on KangMin and sat next to Ilana and Jihoo, who were still close enough to the scene, but far enough not to get caught up in it.

KyuJong and Emily didn’t mean to take so long.  Who knew changing outfits could be so distracting?  Since KyuJong had ‘helped’ Emily out of her dress, it was only fair that she returned the kindness and add a few bonus kisses to his delicious neck and collarbone.  How her hand easily undid his shirt buttons, neither knew.  The hand slowly working its way down his torso to his hip was making him rethink leaving for their honeymoon tonight.  Her hand on his trouser button was frozen in place by her phone ringing.  "I'll just change while you answer," he let out his breath and ran behind the curtain.  Any longer and they might have been found in a compromising position.

Even the captain had been informed of the missing Bride and Groom and was purposely stopped just outside of the docking area.  Thanks to Emily's Mother's call, they got back to what they were supposed to be doing and were back upstairs only five minutes after HyunJoong began to call for them.  "Here they come!"  Someone noticed them trying to sneak back into the banquet area.

 - "Ah...let's hear it for KyuJong-ssi and his Sinbu Emily-ssi!!!"  HyunJoong said.

The two blushed easily.  KyuJong wrapped his arm around her as if blocking his new wife from the ribald teasing.  "Jwosongmnida...we had to change," KyuJong said apologetically.  "Eommonim, we tried not to leave the room a mess for you."

 - "It's okay, dears."

 - "Now..."  HyunJoong went back to addressing everyone as if he were having a casual conversation with his fans at a concert.  "The Captain is waiting patiently to dock until we have one last dance with our Sinbu-deul and Sinlang-deul.  Our missing chingu have returned, looking Yippeun.  They used their time well."  KyuJong had on black casual pants and a black button-down shirt, while Emily wore a black sweater with a cream jacquard skirt over black tights and lace-up wedged short boots.

 - "What were you two up too?"  YiHyun gave her friend a knowing look.

 - "Snogging (making out), most likely," her sister said.  "Her hair is still in place, so maybe just a little canoodling (kissing/cuddling)."

 - "We were just changing!"  Emily said.

 - "Whatever your dongsaeng just said sounds serious," YiHyun giggled.  Emily glared at her sister.

 - "So for this last song let all the couples get nice and close.  Na will do my best acapella."

 - "I can play?!"  Aisla said excitedly.  She was self-taught on a keyboard.  Wouldn't know what to do on a real piano, but she knew most of HyunJoong's ballads.

 - "Jeongmal?"

 - "Yes!  Just ask me and I bet I can play it," Aisla was already standing in front of him, practically jumping up and down.

 - "Arraso..." hand covering the mic, he told her which song to play.  Aisla went straight to the keyboard and gave him the correct key:  "Nothing on You; Nothing on Me; Oh, Baby..."

Whenever things were hard

Without even knowing

You were always with me

The couples began dancing:  some close like JunPyo and JanDi, HyungJun and YiHyun, and KyuJong and Emily.  While others like Jihoo and Ilana, JungMin and Suzy, and YoungSaeng and Mina used more of the dance Floor.  They came close together and swung apart; often turning across the floor.  The song had something for each couple.  Jihoo and Ilana were apart for three months and indirectly, without her knowing, he was still at her side, protecting her.

A beautiful person

The person who found me

I’ll remember you because you’re my everything

Mina diligently waited for her handsome shy prince until he found her.  JungMin similarly cast all caution to the wind and declare himself to one he finally found to give all his heart to.  Suzy, of course, had been waiting patiently for that day to happen.

Alright, I remember, when I felt alone

When I was being stubborn out of feeling empty

You always comforted me

Your thumbs up always comforted me

Through that, I became a precious person

Now I even feel that I am special

My everything, I won’t take that lightly

That’s all I do

Aside from JungMin and Suzy, the others had experienced some sort of loneliness from being stuck in the military away from their loved ones like KyuJong and HyungJun.  Also, out of sheer stubbornness, like Jihoo, Ilana, and YoungSaeng or by dumb luck like JunPyo and JanDi.  Thankfully someone came along to comfort them and transform them into that precious person.

Nothing on You

Nothing on Me

Till my last breath (my heart)

I’ll smile by your side (my heart)

Thank you for loving me, for only looking at me

HyunJoong looked at his friends with a happy smile on his face.  All but one had said "till my last breath" to that special someone.  The one that hadn't, he was confident, would do so soon enough.  Those big-hearted fools weren't foolish enough to let go of a good thing once they had it.  "Kansamnida!"  He bowed.  "Kansamnida, for spending the afternoon and evening celebrating with nae chingu."  One of the banquet staff came up to him.  "Deh, kansamnida," he inclined his head.  Returning to the mic, he said:  "Na have just been informed we are docking.  Can nae get a 'manseh!' for Sinbu-deul and Sinlang-deul?  Hana...dol...set..."

 - "Manseh!"  Everyone shouted.  Aisla, still at the piano, began to play the traditional wedding march.  HyunJoong already jumped back into the crowd of well-wishers.

More wedding fun next chapter.
