Author's POV

Hyorin who was on vacation having finished her concert tour around South Korea was relaxing by a pool that had an amazing view of the Jeju Island ocean.

Her phone rings and she answers it, "Hello?" "How's my lovely daughter doing?" her father ask, "I'm good dad" "I'm glad to hear it" "So why have you called? You know I'm still on vacation?" "I have some good news" her father said happily, "What?" "We're preparing your Japanese debut" he said.

Hyorin was completely surprised, "What! no way oh my gosh!" she yells through the phone, her father laughs, "Once your done with your vacation you will be packing to move to Japan" "I can't wait" Hyorin tells him, "Me either.. I love you" he said, "I love you dad" she said and Mr. Kim hangs up, "I can't believe I'm finally going to make my Japanese debut" she thought.

Mean while in Japan.. Jungah was having a meeting with her staff to start discussing what they would be doing for Hyorin's debut. "Tell me what has been planned for Kim Hyorin?" Jungah ask the marketing members, "We decided to stick with her style, the song is somewhat slow and smiliar to her Alone single" a member said, "Has anyone got in contact with the choreographer yet?" Jungah ask, "We will after this meeting is over" another member said.

"Do we have a date for Hyorin's debut?" "Since its summer now we thought the song would be good to release during the fall in october and let her debut at the Japan Music Awards" "Sounds great.. I will be leaving now so send me a list of everything once its finalized.. Remember Hyorin is set to be here next week" Jungah said and left the meeting room.

It was early in the morning when Hyorin and her manager got on a private plane to go to Japan. It only took and hour and a half to arrive in Tokyo. Once off the plane they walk through the airport with fans trying to take pictures while trying to get autographs but couldn't because of security.

Finally getting out of the airport Hyorin and her manager load up her bags into a van that was waiting for them, "I'm so excited" Hyorin said getting into the van, "I know you are" her manager said smiling. 

They arrive to 2K Japan Entertainment Company and exit the van leaving all the bags, "Lets go" her manager said walking to the entrance with Hyorin following, they enter the building, "Kim Hyorin this way" a woman's voice said, the woman was standing by the front office desk, she walks to the elevator while gesturing for Hyorin and her manager to follow, "I will take you to see Ms. Kim" the woman said.

Jungah was waiting in her office patiently for her newest member of the Japanese company and future "fiance" to arrive. She played with a pen on the desk until she heard a knock at the door, "Come in" she yells and the door opens with Hyorin and her manager walking in.

They bow to Jungah and she smiles at them, "She's even more beautiful in person" Jungah thought "Hello my name is Kim Jungah and I am the vice-ceo" she said, "Wow who would've thought a ceo would look so pretty" Hyorin thought. 

"Hello my name is Kim Hyorin" she said, "And this is my manager" "Nice to meet you" they both say, "Nice to meet you two" Jungah replys to them then got up from her chair, "Now that we have the formal greetings over with lets talk friendly with one another.. I don't like people in my company feeling like strangers or out of place" she said eyesmiling, "Ok" Hyorin said smiling back.

"Let me show you both around the building" Jungah said leading them out her office closing the door behind her, "Right now we are on the top floor of the building.. There are 5 floors total.. At end of this hall is the ceo's office and we have a break room to ourselves" Jungah said pointing to where both places were, "Now we'll get on the elevator and I'll so you the places you'll be using" they walk towards the elevator.

Hyorin's POV

"The 4th floor has the recording room, meeting room, and break room" Jungah said as we got off the elevator. We walk into an open area, "This is the break room where you can eat, watch tv, and anything else you like whenever you have free time" she said, "This is nice" after looking around we went to the recording room, meeting room, then we went down to the 2nd floor and visited the marketing rooms. I met at lot of people, almost everyone was speaking Japanese until I told them I couldn't speak but a few common phrases.

We arrive to one of the three practice rooms that Jungah said was on the 3rd floor. We walk in and there were six people in the room, they look at us, "Everyone this is Kim Hyorin your new label mate from the Korean company.. I am showing her around the building so treat her well whenever you see her" Jungah said I'm not sure what she said since it was in Japanese.

The group of girls bow and smile at me and I do the same, "That is Son Dambi" she said pointing to a woman in the middle of the girls, "She is a soloist and those are her back up dancers" she explained and I nod my head.

All the women get up and music starts playing as they start dancing, I never really took notice of  the room in detail because I was focused watching them, "Lets go" Jungah opens the door and we leave.

There was a gym which we glaced at, you really didn't have to go inside to see it because the top half of the glass windows were clear.

We visited the other two practice rooms and I met the Japanese boy group Boyfriend and they all could speak Japanese but Korean as well so that was good, "Now we're back on the 1st floor and besides the front office desk there is a security room and restrooms" Jungah said, "Thank you for showing us around" my manager said, "It was my pleasure" Jungah said smiling at both of us, "Oh yes that reminds me follow me" she added and we all walk over to the front desk.

Jungah speaks in Japanese, "I need the copy of Kim Hyorin's apartment information and the keys" "I asked if I could get the information to where your apartment is and the keys so I could give it to you" she translated for us, "Thank you" I said.

After getting the information and the keys we go back to the van and surprisingly Jungah walked out with us, "Once you arrive and get everything settled please call me" she said to my manager as we got in the van, "Will do Ms. Kim" my manager said with a salute causing us to laugh, "Tomorrow I will need you to come by again and we will have your schedule ready" she said, "Ok see you tomorrow" I said and she smiles at me one more time before closing the door, the van drives away taking us to my new apartment.

Jungah's POV

I walk back into the building after Hyorin left and go up to my personal break room on the top floor. I make me some coffee then sit on the couch thinking about my first meeting with her. I hope she likes everything..

A few minutes later my cellphone rings, I answer it, "Hello" "Jungah has Hyorin arrived? Everything go well?" it was my father, "Yes dad she arrived and I showed her around the place and she just left to go to her apartment" "How was she? Is she nice? loud? shy?" I laughed at my fathers questions, "From a first impression she was really nice and polite" "Thats great" he said, "How's everything else going?" "Fine as always" I said then took a sip of my coffee.

Finally getting off the phone with my father I go back to my office to look over some papers. It was now in the afternoon when my cellphone starts to ring, it was Hyorin's manager, "Hello" "Ms. Kim I just wanted to tell that Hyorin is now settled in and everything is fine" "Thats wonderful I'll see you both tomorrow" "Ok bye" "Bye" I said and ended the call then I texted Dambi:

To: Dambi - "You still practicing?" - 3:20pm. 

From Dambi - "Nope I'm finished, why want to go eat somewhere?" - 3:22pm.

To: Dambi- "Yes, meet me at my car!" - 3:25pm I text as I'm walking to the elevator.

Fortunately our company owns the private parking deck beside our building, "Hey" Dambi said still full of energy, "Hi" I said unlocking the car doors, we get in and I take us to the usual place we eat at. 

Sitting in the restaurant we chat waiting on our food, "You know why I never told you the name of the girl I'm suppose to marry one day?" I ask, Dambi looks at me funny, "No I don't but why are you bringing it up? Did you fall in love with someone else?" she ask with her eyes getting bigger, "Of course not" I pause, "Its Kim Hyorin thats why I didn't say anything" Dambi just looked at me for a minute then she points at me.

 "Oh my gosh really? You mean Kim Hyorin the girl from this morning?" she said in Korean, "Yes her" I said smiling, she replied back in Japanese, "You two didn't become awkward with each other knowing you have to get married one day?" I sigh, "The thing is she doesn't know that she is to marry me she only knows that she is to marry someone one day" "This should be interesting then" she said smirking, I look at her confused, I was about to say something but our food arrives.

We get back to the company and go back to doing our work. I go down to the marketing rooms to get Hyorin's schedule after that I check on my other soloist Soyou who is promoting right now and I make sure that Boyfriend and Dambi are ready for the open concert next week.

Finishing all of that I go back to my break room and lay on the couch, just when I was about to rest my eyes my cellphone rings, it was a NU'EST member calling me, "Hello" "Umma can you come over tonight and make dinner for us?" Aish these kids..

"I can't tonight" "Awww whyyy" he whines, "I'm tired but tomorrow we are having a new labelmate dinner so I will be paying for everyones food then" I said sitting up from the couch, "Really? We have a new labelmate?" "Yes she is a soloist from the Korean company, Kim Hyorin" I said.

"Really! She's awesome" I laugh at his statement, "Glad to know you already know her.. I'll see you tomorrow with the others" "Ok umma bye" "Bye" I said. I decide to get off the couch and go back to my office since I took that phone call as a sign not to take a nap.
