"I'm not going to sing to you!" she said forcefully, almost making him drop the phone he had in his ear. He hurriedly sneaked into the living room, stretching out on the sofa. "I had a bad dream..." he said cutely, and she smiled that he was doing what she'd done. "Have you tried hiding in the closet? it works for me..." she said jokingly. "It's too small for me and there's four other member's clothes in it so the closet's packed" he stood up again and went to sit at the window sill. "I can hear the rain from your phone, are you by a window as well?" "Mmm..." she stared dreamily at the sky. "I like rainy nights in the city, but when i went to busan with my mom and sister on holiday the night sky is beautiful without all the city lights..." they both chuckled. "Me and my family go to Busan every year, and it's true! the stars are so bright and the sky looks huge..." He yawned once. "If you go to sleep by the window you'll catch a cold..." she chastised, now sitting on her bed. "I brought my blanket with me so i think i'm okay" Even though they weren't talking, he felt like curling up right there and then with the phone in his ear so he could fall asleep just to her breathing. "Close your eyes" she ordered softly, lying back on her own bed. He did as he was told and leaned back against the window ledge. It was very spacious because there used to be cushions that lined the window like a couch. Even though it was bare now it was still fairly comfortable. "They're closed" he confirmed. "Imagine the night sky in Busan, there's no light but it's still really bright because of the moon and the millions of twinkling stars in the sky" he pictured it in his minds eye. "Now you're lying back on a large grassy field like jeju island, its really warm and you're looking up at the night sky again. Im lying beside you and we're trying to count the stars..." and he opened his mouth in awe as he now pictured this scene with great detail. Only he wasnt looking at the sky, but at Naeun. Her skin was as pale as the moonlight and she wore a billowy white strapless dress barefoot. She looked simple and innocent with her long straight hair as she stared at the sky, laughing. He turned back to the sky as well and pointed his finger into the air with her. "Now count the stars until you fall asleep" Naeun said finally, closing her eyes as well and snuggling into the blankets. "1... 2... 3..." "4.. 5... 6..." Taemin carried on, his head dropping lower and lower. "7... 8... 9..." Naeun struggled to stay awake. They kept counting, not knowing when they stopped and almost nodding off to sleep at the same time.
