TAEYEON’S POV

“Nooooooooooo!!!!!” The loud yell destroyed the serenity for that one very peaceful early morning. The sound of me gasping for air echoed. Terror engulfed my shaken body as I was stricken into silence.

! What kind of dream is that?

“Hey, what happened?” Jonghyun came running, his face was written with curiosity. He was already in his work clothes. Despite looking handsome and dashing, those qualities weren’t good enough to scoot the horror in me. My lips were sealed shut as my mind was still trapped with that one disastrous dream.

“Yah!”

“Huh?” I glanced at Jonghyun. He was tying his tie, eyebrows jerked.

“Are you okay?”

“Nightmare.”

“Bwoh?”

“Nightmare.”

Jonghyun didn’t response to my one word statement. Instead he walked to the kitchen. I pushed the comforter away from my body and leaned my back against the sofa. Head shook from left to right.

Is the fever screwing up my brain? Shoot, please don’t! Immediately, my hand went to my forehead, checking my temperature. Okay. The fever obviously has gone down but that dream? Geez! Now I understood the true definition of the word NIGHTMARE. Lee Jonghyun kissed me in my own freaking dream! Why the hell would I dream something outrages like that?

My eyes rooted to Jonghyun’s figure at the kitchen. And that was when I flew back straight to my dazzling fantasy land. What if that really happened? I meant I fell asleep unknowingly last night. I won’t even notice if he did pecked my forehead.

“You better sleep missy. If not, I’ll sing a lullaby and heck I won’t promise you that you can ever fall asleep without hearing my lullaby after this.”

Jonghyun’s words echoed inside my mind. Yah Lee Jonghyun! Care to explain why your voice still affected me like a sleeping drug despite you didn’t sing? Are you a freaking sandman?

The feeling of a hand lightly touching my forehead pulled me back into reality. Eyes trolled, face expressed with an unexplainable expression. The human version of sleeping drug/ sandman or whatever nickname suits him best was crooking a smile on his face.

Like a cue, daggers began shooting from my eyes.
