“That was great Jongin!” said little Krystal as she jumps up and down after playing the lovely theme. Jongin couldn’t help but smile at her. Her smile always has a way to make him get all giddy inside.

“Let’s do another one!” she said and readied her violin on her chin.

“Maybe next time Jung. It’s getting late. Eomma must be waiting.” He said with a hint of sadness in him. He really enjoyed their duet and wanted more. But what’s bugging him was the time. It was 8’ o clock already. His mother must be waiting for him downstairs. Oh, how he wish time would just slowly tick so he could continue being with this lovely girl in front of him.

“Ohhh, don’t go yet.” Krystal wimp and pouted at the same time. Again, that cute little pout of hers always wants him to smile and pinch her cheeks.

“Yah! Don’t worry, I’ll come back tomorrow, okay?” he said with a smile and gave her a thumb up. Krystal was really anticipating in doing some more practicing but she can’t keep Jongin away from his mom. And he was right, they still have tomorrow.

“Okay Jongin- ah!” she cutely said his name. It made him blush. This girl really is something.

Yes. This girl was the only girl whom Jongin admired for so long. And no, this isn’t love. Or that’s what he thought.

“Come on! Your mommy must be waiting!” Krystal grabbed the delusional Kim Jongin’s hand and linked it together with hers. Causing him to blush even more.

“There you are Jongin!” another lady in her 30’s was waiting for him at the living room, while having a little chat and tea with Mrs. Jung and Jessica.

The two arrive down the stairs and Jessica noticed the two kids hands intertwined. She giggles softly and nudges her mother to see the cute scene. Mrs. Jung too giggled and smiled at her daughter’s cute skinship with her best friend.

“Good evening auntie!” Krystal greeted Jongin’s mother and gave her a hug in which the lady replied.

“Hello there Krystal. My, you’re hyper today.” She said and gave the little girl a caress in the hair. Krystal gave Jongin’s mom a wide grin and ran back to her own mom.

“Come along Jongin. It’s time to go home.” Mrs. Kim offered her hand to her son. Jongin blankly held her.

“Okay.” He said dully and turned around to face Krystal who was shining brightly at him. He smiles back and tightens his hand on her mother’s.

The two Kim’s were led out from the Jung residence by the three Jung’s themselves.

“Well we better go BoA. It’s getting late.” Said Mrs. Kim as she opens her car door.

“Take care! Drive slowly!” Jessica advice Mrs. Kim and the mother nod at the teenagers kind words.

“Bye auntie! Bye Jongin-ah!!! See you tomorrow!” Krystal yelled at her best friend like he was already far away from her. Jongin chuckled; her behavior today was much bubblier than ever.

“Bye Soojung.” he said softly and got in the car. Soon enough, the engine started and Mrs. Kim drove off. Jongin opened the window to see Krystal waving at him. He waves back at her as she sees her figure disappearing.

“Krystal is such a lovely girl, isn’t she Jongin?” his mother suddenly asked a question after the long silence.

Lovely girl. Krystal’s face pops out of his mind and he couldn’t help but smile.

“Yeah she is.” He said softly and continued to smile. His mother as well smiles at his son’s happy face.

“So, do you have feelings for her Jongin?” she asked another question in which Jongin didn’t answer because he was still thinking of her.

“I’ll take that as a yes Jongin. My, my, kids these days…” she said and drove off.

The road they drove through wasn’t filled with other cars. In other words, they’re stuck in traffic.

“Jongin.” His mother states his name.

“Yes eomma?” he politely asked. Still grinning.

“You’re cousin is visiting next week.” She said. Jongin’s face darkened.

“He’ll be staying for a week while his parents are off to a business trip. So, I’m expecting you to be a good boy, okay?” she continued and Jongin’s face became more darker.

“Jongin? Are you listening to me?” she asked. No reply.

“I know you don’t have a good bond with your cousin but at least let him play with you?” she asked. Pleading her son to accept it.

Jongin thinks about it deeply. He has always hated his cousin. He tortures Jongin when they were still little. But Jongin never told his parents or his. He was a good boy. Being taught to be a gentleman at a young age, he manages to calm down every time his cousin does another prank on him.

“Okay.” He forcefully said and looked straight at the street.

They arrive safely at their home. Jongin hurriedly run to his bedroom but his sister, Kim Hyoyeon, suddenly blocked his way.

“Hey there kkamjong! What’s the rush?” she asked and blocked every way Jongin was going through.

“Get out of the way noona!” he told her and tried his best to get through his sister.

“Yah! I’m older than you! Respect!” she teasingly said and keeps up her paced. Jongin groans but had to follow since she was right.

“Fine. Could you move away noona, please?” he politely asked. Hyoyeon smirked at her little brothers politeness and slowly moved away.
