He took me back to his house and carried me to his bedroom and tucked me into his bed. He told me that he hoped I would be fine and that I should rest and that he would be back in around three hours because his work would be finished by then. After he left I fell asleep… I woke up to find him dabbing a cold cloth on my ankle, it felt painful but I didn’t mind because it was him. I couldn’t help but wonder if he was enjoying himself, I always knew he had a thing for ankles. He looked up and saw I was awake and smiled, “Hello, you finally woke up. You’ve been asleep for a while.” I tried to get up because it seemed awkward that I was lying in his bed but he stopped me gently pushing me back down again. “Don’t get up, I don’t want you to hurt yourself anymore, Just rest.” He smiled, my arm and pulled the covers back over me. “Thank you,” I said. He was being so nice to me, I couldn’t understand why. Before I could even stop myself, I found myself reaching my hand out to his, He looked at me surprised but took my hand in his gently. I stared into his eyes and he stared into mine for a long time. We didn’t say anything but I guess actions speak louder than words. My eyes started to flutter and I felt myself falling asleep. We were still holding hands, and as I fell asleep he kissed my forehead and whispered goodnight. I slept so well that night, his bed was very comfortable. When I woke up he was still holding my hand, sleeping beside me on the floor. He had a stuffed rabbit with him. I hadn’t realised before how many toys he had in his bedroom, but there were loads. I had always loved this part of him, he was so sweet and young and his toys were so cool. And then he woke up. “Good morning, beautiful. How’s your leg?” He smiled as he sat up. “Oh its better, it still hurts but I think it’ll be fine.” Even now we were still holding hands. “I’m sorry that we didn’t eat dinner yesterday. I completely forgot. I’ll make you a big breakfast to make up for it.” He looked down at my hand and I felt sad when I realised that he would have to let it go. “I’ll be back soon.” He slipped his hand away from mine but it once again afterwards and left. It was only ten minutes till he came back, he carried a tray with croissants, toast, eggs and bacon on it. “I’m sorry there’s so much food, I didn’t know what you’d want.” He placed the tray down next to me and we held hands again. “Thank you again. It’s perfect.” We both couldn’t help but smile. Then we ate breakfast. He kept on trying to feed me, even though he didn’t need to but I let him anyway. After we ate, I sat up and stretched out my arms to him and he hugged me. We stayed like that for ages. I could hear his heart beating, it was almost as fast as mine.
