“Seung-hyun, Seung-hyun….! Seung-hyun!”

Her voice was screaming my name, I opened my eyes. She had her arms round me, her tears fell and hit my arm.

“Shh.. shh it’s ok, I’m here now. Just sleep and don’t worry I’m here to protect you.”

I knew she couldn’t hear me but still somehow I wanted to comfort her, hold her in my arms and make sure she was fine even though I know I could never do that. She wasn’t my girl, she’s Jiyong’s now. I wonder if she really does like him. What am I saying? Of course she does. Although she said she wasn’t happy, but then why is she always smiling when she’s with me? I looked at her, her tears were still falling. I wish I knew what was wrong so that I could help her. Part of me longed to see her eyes again but I didn’t want to wake her. I forgot she slept this beautifully, like a doll, still, silent, perfect. She started speaking again, “Don’t let him take me away from you… I can’t stand being away from you. I miss you so much.”

I guess she must want to see Jiyong that badly then, she must feel trapped here then. Or could she mean me? No, she could never like me, right? I ran over to the door and answered it. It was Jiyong.

“Hey, you took your time, you must be really sick. I was just wondering of you’ve seen my girl anywhere, she seems to have disappeared from me.”

I looked at him, could I really lie? I stuttered, “Ummm…uhhh.”
