Never Let You Go (JaeMin Past Story)
You, Whom I Left OffThis is not a continuation of this story (as in the continuation of chapter 22). Since I haven't finished chapter 23 but it is the time for some of you to go for a fasting month, I think I should post something for the last time... so yeah, this is short, unclear, and grammatically bad (since I typed it at my office using a phone)... but this is the least I could give. ^^ I'm sorry for the lateness and I hope this side story wasn't late.
Happy fasting for those who are going to do it! :) am not fasting, so I might still able to update once awhile... later. I hope. Thanks!
Comments are pretty welcome as always. <3
Changmin was sitting quietly in the classroom all by himself. His class has ended for like two hours ago, but he didn't show any sign of movement- except when he took a glance once a while at the clock. Sometimes, Changmin would sigh deeply as he thought that it surely took longer than the usual. But since he didn't have much choices, in the end Changmin was getting absorbed into his book again- to the point he didn't realize that someone was staring at him from the outside.
"Shim Changmin?" called the person, making Changmin jumped at his place due to shock.
"Y- Yes?" Changmin turned at the person with his widened eyes.
"Why are you here?" the person asked again. "Why don't you get back home yet? Is there someone picking you up today?"
"No, I-..." Changmin seemed to be hesitant for a second, somehow resulting a shade of pink on his cheek. "I'm waiting for someone, Kwon-Songsaenim."
"A girl?" asked Mrs. Kwon with a meaningful smile.
Changmin widened his eyes even more in horror as he shook his head. "No," he answered. "A... A hyung. I'm waiting for Hyung."
"Hyung?" Mrs. Kwon tilted her head. "Oh, you mean Kim Jaejoong. Where is he?"
"Joo- Hyung is taking an extra class," answered Changmin again.
"Is that so?" Mrs. Kwon sat at the chair in front of Changmin. "Why don't you come back home first? I will tell him to catch you up."
Changmin shook his head again; a smile on his face. "It is alright, Songsaenim," said him.
Mrs. Kwon was about to open again, when someone all of sudden barged into the classroom. Instantly, Mrs. Kwon and Changmin's attention turned towards the door. Both of them could see that there was a young boy; older than Changmin, stood as he was panting heavily.
"Sorry I'm late, Minnie," the boy said between his breaths.
"J- Hyung," Changmin's smile grew bigger upon the appearance. Without waiting any second longer, he has already started tidying his things before running to the other's place.
"Why..." Jaejoong stared weirdly at Changmin. "Why Hyung-? You never called me hy-"
Changmin immediately covered Jaejoong's mouth in panic, taking another glance at Mrs. Kwon who was still studying them. He just hoped that Jaejoong could understand why he was doing so. "I'm hungry," he abruptly changed the topic. "Let's get the crepes first."
Jaejoong seemed to think for a second before finally nodding his head along. "Okay," answered him as he extended his hand to the younger. As Changmin frowned within confusion, Jaejoong finally added an explanation. "Hands, Minnie."
"But- Hyung~!" protested Changmin with a reddened face.
Jaejoong said nothing but glared at Changmin.
Even without any sound, Changmin could read it as 'You insisted to call me Hyung, now I insist doing this as a payback.'. Sighing in defeat, Changmin finally locked his hand with Jaejoong's even though he hid his face all the time due to his shyness.
Jaejoong smiled brightly in satisfaction almost right away, before turning his attention at Mrs. Kwon. "Songsaenim, we're leaving!"
Mrs. Kwon just smiled warmly and waved her hands until both of Changmin and Jaejoong were gone from her sight.

"Joongie, please let my hand go," pleaded Changmin, feeling really shy since a lot of people stared and giggled at them.
Jaejoong didn't seem to hear- or... want to hear, at least, since he did nothing but dragged Changmin towards the crepes stall near the park.
"Joongie," called Changmin again.
Jaejoong stopped in front of the park's entrance and turned to see Changmin. He finally released Changmin's hand from him before pointing at one of the benches. "I'll be waiting there," he said. "Buy me the crepes, Minnie."<
